Extract from the concert, as it's been aired on the ORF, Austrian TV National Channel.
James Horner himself was there, this night, to receive the Max Steiner Prise for his career.
He is regularly filmed during the concert, deeply touched and moved by the tribute that was given to him. Such a humble, talented and lovely composer!
I was there, this night, in the audience of that magnificent place, to listen and applaud! It will remain one of the best and most intense memories of my life! So proud and happy to hear in live concert all these great themes that I love, and to be here for James Horner, one of the best composers of our time!

You bring the composer to tears.
Beautiful.
You can tell this man loves what he does. Horner was in tears just by hearing his material, I don't blame him. One of the better soundtracks I've heard of all time.
The way James Horner cries during this is beautiful. He knew he made a piece that he could be proud of. I will forever miss his beautiful scores. We lost another great guy... RIP James Horner...

This music made me cry a few times in the past, it's still my favorite movie music, it meant so much to me back then.

The memory of James Horner and the sinking of the RMS Titanic and its victims will always bring a tear to my eyes as I remember a heartbreaking part of the 20th century.

I remember playing this with the orchestra I used to play in. And I always got tears in my eyes when we were approaching the Hymn To The Sea. I just think the score for the Titanic is so beautiful!

James Horner's death came as a huge blow to me while investigating further into Titanic's orchestral scores. such a beautiful smile and such charming eyes.. and such a beautifully composed score.. it brings tears to the eyes of anyone who listens to it..
