I been a fan of the early Kodak digital cameras, I have picked up many CCD Kodak sensor cameras, I stayed away from the cameras made after Kodak went bankrupt, some of the favorites are in the 5-10 megapixel range. I look for the color science sticker on the camera. They are fun camera. Kodak C530, Kodak C740 are a few of my favs. I find when I am shooting with these types of cameras I am more focused on composition, color and slowing down. Maybe that is why I like them so much? Thanks for sharing.
I expected the image quality to be terrible, but this is actually kinda alright! Low light obviously suffers, but there’s no way around that with a sensor and lens like this. Dynamic range is as limited as you’d expect from a digicam, and images aren’t very sharp, but the colors look really nice. I just saw on Amazon that it’s got a CCD sensor. Guess that explains it. =)
its beacuse japanese are really easy to influence. only one famous actor have to use it and you got your sales. its just a hyped camera for people who dont know shit about photography but trying to take better pics than smartphone ones. i mean its still better than a iphone right.
Better than an iPhone? Yes and no. The colors are leaps and bounds nicer than the hot mess that even the most recent iPhone makes. But dynamic range is pretty bad and if it’s so slow to operate, that can be really limiting.
@@rickbiessman6084 phones do hdr pictures. Phones have really bad dynamic range. Thats why it takes multiple picture. Over sharpened. Can be handy for lazy or no knowledge people. I compared my iphone15 pro max to a 10y old cybershot and the cybershot takes better picture.
Meanwhile Japanese second hand shops are full of used digicams... No need to buy new.
Older digicams take far superior images especially indoors with flash. I have the Samsung wb35f, wb150f and olympus tough 8010. My primary is an OM-5

Yes it does slow you down quite a bit. Thanks for the recommendations, CCD feels more in place with point and shoot like this.

Haha yeah it's not too shabby for the price and color. The built in flash is kinda fun too even though I didn't show much in this video.
@@jasonpchen I’d overuse that like a madman! =) Just like on my film point-and-shoot.
Living in Brazil:
Camera: 99 dollars
Import fees: 121 dollars
ironic it's this one, made by the one major non japanese brand
😆

Seriously, besides egonomics, you are better off with your phone camera that you already carry. This might be good for kids to mess around with.
