Very fascinating indeed Bruce Lee got a deep voice. Yet he can scream so high pitch
Great inside
I met both Bob wall and Jim Kelly at a comic convention just over 10 years ago and one of the things that I asked both of them were whether or not Bruce Lee would do those same screams he does in the movies in real life. Bob Wall smiled and said "He only did it for the movies, he said that it was something that he believed that his character would do..." And when I asked Jim Kelly he said "No, I don't think that he did that in real life those all drawn out screams, I think that it was just for the cameras. But if he were to scream in real life while practicing his martial arts then he would make a "different" sound."
I've theorized that he got the screams from Barney Fife, when Barney was showing Andy the deadly movements copied from animals. Bruce had to have seen that - circa 1961-63.
Holy cow! It's Ley Bogan!
I MEAN Bey Logan!
Looking forward to seeing the interview
Wow
Thank you for that great video. But even if Bruce recorded those screams, if I am correct there is no film of Bruce Lee fighting making those screams "live". The live sounds we can hear in his Longstreet Episode or in the movie Marlowe are different, even in the 1965 screen test. Much less high pichted. Closer to the Black Belt Jones sound.

Yo genius!! keep up the good work…
There's the episode on the Green Hornet where they were trapped by some hunters and after Kato hits one of the men with his nunchucks and side kicks him Kato lets out that high pitch, "woooo". I believe that's the first time in the series he made that sound!
@Bartron_Flat_Earth ...I do not remember the name of the episode but the GH and Kato were being pursued by some game hunters towards the end.
Oh slap! I just realized this is new!!😂

Just an idea. On sets from level one. Mook Jong sets. On the GAANG SAO as we step in from the left? Go inside PAK DA CHEUNG to center and STEP and QUAN. That would mean, the top JUM (left) and bottom GAANG (right hand) plowing hand cutting hand. Sweep inside (right hand) PAK SAO and left hand PUNCH inside the left peg. 2. Right before we QUAN SAO. And the QUAN SAO is a right hand TAN and left DI BONG SAO. After the QUAN SAO We chop FUNG HAO FAK SAO up top (left hand) and low right punch. 3. OUTSIDE RIGHT PEG. OUTSIDE FOOK SAO right hand on right peg, and BUI GEE on center (left hand) ) and cheung choy (right hand) 5. QUAN SAO left hand TAN right ark BONG 5. GAANG right hand JUM left hand plow, low left hand. And HUEN SAO ROLL on right peg outside to inside. Palm and bong step. That’s my set. And that’s a VIPER progression. It gives you two hits in between the blocking shapes.” 😎👍
Lets Challenge Logan to sing the Fist of Fury song. It looks, that he will do it very well. Respect
Dorky video game tidbit - a fan game called Legend of Double Dragon has one of the players doing Bruce's war cries. The fan game is a free to play one, so I guess since the makers aren't charging, it's legal? There are RUclips videos of gameplay if you want to hear them used there. The brothers who made the game are martial arts movies fans. Some of the combos the hero characters perform were modeled after moves used in different movies and fighting games, including Donnie Yen's chain punch beat down he did in Yip Man 1 during the 10-man fight.
