as a diluc main this makes me feel happy. He gets shit on bc of characters like hu tao. The thing is diluc isn't built for physical damage. If he had a crit claymore he would be so much better. Plus he's an old character so it makes sense he wouldn't be as strong as the latest.

He damage getting lower after patch updates and that's not fair. I'm not saying Mihoyo directly nerf diluc but when they increase their boss and mob strength, diluc becoming a weak.

@@froge1647 IDK if it's just me but you should try grinding on the Shimenawa Domain. It's probably the only domain that'll be worth your time plus you could the the Crimson Witch domain next time.
Diluc is one of the most fun characters to 1v1 bosses with because his attack pattern can be changed at any point so it doesn't feel repetitive. I love using the skyward pride , bursts for days and still stronger than all 4 stars. Used to use a r5 prototype before this, never gonna go back lol
I am thinking that soon enough there would be a dedicated weapon for Diluc. High base attack with elemental mastery as it's substat and reaction related on its passive. It'll be like Crimson Witch but claymore type for Diluc that drastically boosts his damage making it a real game changer for him.
This stats with Wolf's Gravestone are insane. Currently my Diluc stats are 65/185, and when I change the plume 51/200. If I just got a crit dmg circlet with at least 10% crit rate, my stats would be very close to yours

I've been using Diluc ever since I got him, which is about a bit over half a year now and I still haven't dropped a proper set for him, or the cool wolf sword. He does good enough with what I do have and I use the R3 BP claymore which is pretty solid, but seeing stuff like this reminds me that I desperately need to get a proper set from that horrible domain, and a decent pyro damage cup too. I wish his Pyro Infusion from the Burst had the same Flame effects as his E instead of just making the slash color red, I mean Hu Tao has cool Flame effects like Diluc's E
Diluc made me forgot to use my other DPS. cuz it much easy using him especially world expedition. put on a team with zhongli + xinqie + fishl. no need to change team comp.

I can get my diluc with a build very similar to this one, difference is i use the bp claymore and i only have 1600 atck with 290 EM, but my bennet can solve that problem, with him i get to 2.8k atck (i still prefer a higher crit rate with a bit less crit damage for more consistent crits)
The only way if u dont have a crit dmg weapon is on having a crit dmg hat. Its more easier on diluc bc he scales with crit rate so he can balance his stats to 1/2.
I have similar stats as yours, though i use rosaria in my party to boost diluc's crit rate, he's now at c0 with 2.5k ATK, 52% crit rate and 207% crit dmg 121 EM, triple crowned, 4 set crimson witch
@@FOCUS-ho6mh her elemental burst buffs team crit rate by a maximum of +15%. With energy recharge build on rosaria, you can charge her ult every 2-3 uses of Elemental skill. So, my Diluc should have consistent 67% crit rate with the right rotation.

diluc literally has such a low cd on his es and burst plus he's burst cost is so low and you get that elemental infusion on his greatsword which lasts before the cd on his Q is done (he also has an artifact set tailored specifically to his kit). I just really want that charge atk passive to be replaced by something else (the charge atk is really nice for breaking geo, hydro and cryo shields but I feel like they could have made it to something a tad better)

I think that the ATK%18 X2 2pc Artifacts would do a lot better than the Crimson 4pc set. Mine is level 10 talents with 2748 ATK and can do a lot more damage. At times his after effect burst does 30k per normal attack hit
Yeah but you forgot that 4pc Crimson Witch works only when you proc reactions. If you wear full Crimson Witch and pair Diluc's infusion with Xin Qiu's burst it will deal around 60k per normal hit

100% agreed. He was my first 5 star and I still main him to this day. He somehow hits harder than my well built Ayaka.

Ur current ratio actually has more consistent dps. Remember that crit isn't the only contributor for damage. Atk% and Elem mastery too!

idk if i should use 4p crimson or crimson/glad. currently i use the 2nd option with 60/240 ratio and 2.4k atk, any thoughts on the artifact set?

I think that the ATK%18 X2 2pc Artifacts would do a lot better than the Crimson 4pc set. Mine is level 10 talents with 2748 ATK and can do a lot more damage. At times his after effect burst does 30k per normal attack hit
Yeah but you forgot that 4pc Crimson Witch works only when you proc reactions. If you wear full Crimson Witch and pair Diluc's infusion with Xin Qiu's burst it will deal around 60k per normal hit
