A physical build for Kaeya IS the best build for him but nobody has ever used a physical Kaeya ok co-op or ever dedicated to building Kaeya. A Diona DPS is pretty obvious.
It is impressive for a Diano. That said, his Ganyu with those artifacts and weapon would be doing three times that damage per charged shot. Something to keep in mind

If there is more than one enemy the damage difference scales quadratically based on how many enemies are in ganyu's bloom AOE. Still, DPS DIANO is a viable way to make your own end game content. It's better than waiting on Mihoyo to do something about the lack of it anyway.

The game should make it more clear as to what characters are healers / dps :/ (and obviously ppl can do whatever they want with that info if they wanna main diona as their dmg dealer even if she’s a healer they can) but mihoyo making them like partially deal damage and partially heal it’s just so weird whoever makes that system of the game just ain’t doing a good job lol.

For those wondering, DIona's skill only gives shields to NEARBY team members. This arena is huge and she was at range, so most of the time she'd be just giving herself a shield and generating no energy (since it has to HIT an enemy for that). The fact that she used her skill when a NEARBY teammate needed cleansing means this Diona main knows how her kit works.
i use retracing bolide on diona which gives 40% normal and charge attack bonus while she has a shield! works p well although my diona is a work in progress and only hits about 10k charged attack right now

Wow thank you for this. I've been trying to use Diona as dps at Europe server but all the people I've met says it's a waste of time just use her as supporter just because I have Ayaka. But what am I supposed to do... at Yoimiya's weapon banner I got Amos'and thundering pulse bows. And the only bow characters I have are Diona and amber. Actually it doesn't lmao it just says it's 50% of the shield's damage absorption for coop players, so they have half the hp of your shield
No it just means others get a little baby shield that's half of your own

Wow thank you for this. I've been trying to use Diona as dps at Europe server but all the people I've met says it's a waste of time just use her as supporter just because I have Ayaka. But what am I supposed to do... at Yoimiya's weapon banner I got Amos'and thundering pulse bows. And the only bow characters I have are Diona and amber. But seeing this I'm now certain that Diona can be used as Dps. Well yeah compared to Ganyu, Diona needs more precise aim but I like this kitty cat more. Thank you so much. I'll subscribe to you.
They say I'm a mad lad trying to build a DPS Diona because her scaling is literally one of the worst in the game. I kept telling them that I can see it would be worth it to max her especially for my reaction team as it would all add up in the end. Thank the gods of teyvat for this clip.
