Dear Sydney, I was a nobody from Ohio and West Virginia too! Now I'm a nobody from L.A. :) My parents moved us to Los Angeles when I was a kid, and I still live here, but I'll always be from West Virginia. I'm a special education teacher. I just did your workout and loved it! Can't believe I did well with it because I just turned 52 years old, but I kept up. I have severe arthritis and spent my teens and early 20s in a wheelchair. Now in remission, yeah! Six years ago, I suffered a sudden coronary arrest and flatlined for 4 minutes. That's how I found out I have genetic cardiovascular disease. There's a titanium stent in my left main artery now, but I'm active and wanting to be as fit as possible. Thank you SO MUCH for your positivity. Today was the best I've felt since all of this terrible stuff going on in our country and world began. I really appreciate it! Here's to Ohio and West Virginia and people like you and me. I've been doing your workouts for almost 3 years - I've bounced around between the same 3 or 4 videos, and just added this one to my rotation. I strength train because I have a disorder that affects how my body processes & stores food, it affects my insulin, metabolism, etc. I'll never be thin, but I can be strong! I also focus on keeping healthy and strong because I am a health care aide, and I've seen so many burn out and their bodies give out..and I am determined to be there for my guys for many more years to come.
Sydney, You ROCK!! you're so fun. I know you're alone and so am I but we're all in this together. Those words gave me strength to keep pushing, thinking that I was gathering more strength from everyone who was working out with us from so many places. You know just the right things to say. I'm strong, I have depression because my childhood was full of abuse, till this day it affects me. I'm 50 years old a mom of 2 a grandma of 3 and still kicking butt in my exercises, I been over weight all my life. I'm strong because I finished this 60 minute body toning and because on the last exercise did 20 repetitions, go ME. Thank you for your videos and for the motivation on the end of all of them. I'm getting stronger with YOU!

Oh my gosh, your dance at the end was everything! I know I am strong but sometimes I just want some time away to not have to be strong. I have too many heavy burdens in my life currently. My time to workout is when I can focus on me though and it feels good to do that (most of the time!).

I loved the format of taking a compound move and then combining it with its isolated counterparts! Also love the straight strength routines with little rest. Do you have any suggestions for what to do when finding grip to be a limiting factor? Is it better to lower the weight and keep the pace up or take an extra rest if needed to push with heavier weights? I was using challenging weights for me (20-30 lbs) and found I had to be taking some extra rests for my hands and forearms. Thank you for providing these amazing workouts for us Sydney! I appreciate you so much!
