There's a lot of potential for the revival of some long dead characters now that Bleach is exploring Hell - but who will see? I've tried to list 10 of my own predictions, but let me know your thoughts and if I missed any!
I really wish that we will see Gin and Tosen again, they didnt have much screentime and I liked both of them. Also, I really really want to have some Sternritters coming back in this arc, Im mostly thinking on Bazz-B and Haschwald for instance.
I’ve got to many questions but the biggest one and the one I’ve had at the back of my head the longest is what happens to any of the memos level hollows because they are made up of thousands of souls, when they die do they go to the soul society as one being or does it split up into the parts that made it, know what I’m guessing is that they stay as one being but they go to hell because of there power level or one of the souls that made them up was a sinner?
If its not dependent on ones personality/morality than I have hope that Starrk will show up again. He's my favorite Espada and even though he got a backstory I feel his potential was wasted and I would love to see more development or screen time with him, and without Aizen commanding him to fight against Kyoraku and Ukitake maybe they could finally just sit down and relax and have some tea in hell.

My boy Stark didn't really do anything evil besides "serving Aizen" (did he even really try at the end? Kyoraku thought he was holding back even then) my boy was purified and living happily as part of the resurrection cycle with his loli gun.
@@derektom8792 If high tier souls like Captains go to Hell, wouldn't high tier Arrancars, like the Espada, go to Hell as well? Or maybe there is a ritual to send the Espada to hell in the same fashion as the Shinigami, there are so many misteries.
@@joaquincasascortes624 that's what I've been thinking. I thought the point was that if they're that strong they end up in Hell. Stark, like Szayelaporro was killed with a zanpakto and is far more powerful than he was. From what I understood, this should land him in Hell for sure, and I would be so happy to see him there.
@@wwekings9505 It has nothing to do with them being bad or evil, Their reishi is just too strong to be absorbed back into soul society so they get sent to hell instead.
Can you imagine Rangiku seeing Gin again that would be insane, or Ulqiorra see Ichigo again lol there is so much potential with bringing characters back!

If Gin really returns for this Hell Arc, I would like him and Matsumoto/Kira to have a confrontation for sure. Maybe Hell's conditions force Gin to fight them and not only would that be a nice way to round out these two's relationships with him, it would also be a chance for them to reveal their Bankais they achieved after their...less-than-stellar performances in the War.
I think literally every character is on the table for a return. It's obvious from the one chapter we got that Kubo want to go HARD on this arc. I genuinely think any powerful character comparable to or close to a captain in terms of strength has a very high likelihood of returning. Ulquiorra is by far the biggest give me. A fight between Ulquiorra and Grimmjow where he ends up breaking out his own second stage resurrection would be absolute insanity. Kenpachi versus all of the former Kenpachis to assert his dominance as the absolute strongest. There is a literal endless combination of hype fights you can come up with here in this arc and it's wonderful. Absolutely this is the best way to "bring back" dead characters.
Honestly I'm thinking it's a massive chance for a rematch between a revamped Ichigo and Ulquiorra, though I would NOT mind a fight between Grimm and Ulq at last.
That depends on how Kubo wants hell to work in this arc. When hell first appeared, Rukia explained that hollows that had commited evil sin when they were human got sent to hell after shinigami cleansed them. Ulquiorra was literally born of nothingness in Huegomundo so he was never a human. And he died because his soul was completely depleted not by Ichigo's blade. So he shouldn't be in hell. The same is true for Baaragon who was the most ancient hollow so he might not even had beem a humam. And he got killed by his own power. Szayaleporro was a very evil man and he died by Mayuri's blade so he ended up in hell.
It's not likely Ulquiorra went to hell since the criteria is you have to be a sinner while human or sent via the Shinigami funeral ritual which wouldn't have been done for him. Ulquiorra doesn't appear to be the type to be evil while human. Szayelaporro and Aaroniero went to hell because they are openly wicked and was that way while alive.
I mean it is shown you can complete the ritual without meaning to as long as you kill a hollow before(here is the question how connected does the thing need to me since in this case it was the combat badge), we have no ideal if Szayaleporro was an evil man since crimes committed as a hollow don't count for going to hell, and of course the question of do hollows have the issue of their reshi becoming so dense they can no longer reincarnate, So really it is a case of how exact do you need to be for the ritual to work/do all captain level hollow auto go to hell since we never saw the hell gates claim sza on death and we saw him die Another question does it effect Quincys most of the yhwach guard will not be effected most likely since in royal realm
@@mirandagoldstine8548 I mean Ukitake was "the most peace loving Capt. in all of Soul Society" but his riatsu grade was just too strong so he's in there. Starrk was also super strong an Espada so he could be in there by that same riatsu grade logic
It does not matter if the holow did evil actions, if when he was human he sinned, then he would go to hell, if he didnt sin, then he reicarnates. Its the actions as Human soul that counts.
If the dead are coming back then I would like to see Gin come back and see Rangiku's Bankai, Kubo loved Rangiku and Yoruichi due to their personalities and Rangiku has become irrelevant since Gin died. So this would be a great chance. But of course,Ukitake's Bankai comes first.
Stark to me is probably in regular soul society. It isn’t his fault the weak hollows couldn’t withstand his reiatsu and even when working under Aizen he wasn’t a detestable piece of shit like Nnoitra or Szayel. And he got done in by Kyoraku with a Zanpakuto strike… so I’d say Stark is in SS
@@ertvonzukonigvonrahm835 Yamamoto and unohana in hell actually make sense though… they went around murdering and ravaging soul society before they were the Gotei 13…. Jushiro is likely the only one of the 3 who is sent to hell and didn’t have a reason to besides the fact he couldn’t be reincarnated because if his reiatsu density. Unohana and Yamamoto have reasons to be put in hell. Honestly though I do see your point. It’s just without clarification and some actual truth behind how hell works it’s kinda difficult. Even all the stuff we know that Szayel says may not even be true.
Most Quincies go to Yhwach after they die According to the Novels , Yhwach has been sealed as the Knew Soul King .... in a terrifying state of Limbo, and it would be much more terrifying if even the dead Quincies are also locked up in that same Limbo like Yhwach
Regarding azashiro, it would be relatively easy to introduce him to the story, at the end of the novel he returns to his prison in the muken, so it would only be necessary to ask him for help in much the same way as they did with aizen.
@@Steven-cq1eq No. He just went back to Muken to retrain and fully master his Zanpakto. So if he were to come back he'd definitely get a huge power boost and be even more OP.
Aizen harmed Rangiku and stole some sort of energy from her. Gin witnessed all of it and the moment Aizen fused the energy with the hogyoku. My theory on on why Rangiku doesn't have a bankai is related to this event.
@@Phantom_8222 yh its mentioned in the novels that she had a piece of the soul king within her, the sould kings fingernail. Aizen stole that and fused it with the hogyoku, limiting her potential. If aizen didnt steal it she would be captain level +.
Please let Gin get some screen time, I want to see his life experience and personality guard him against hell's influence and have him be a life line during this arc.
fun thing is (for me), lot of cool guys like byakuya and hitsugaya are designed to be cool, but in reality they are shit. they lost lot of times and won (barely) vs the most weakest characters (a fraccion? a human? a fake n6? n7?) while kenpatchi, as sealed his power was, obliterated stronger characters. hitsugaya got strong with his last form, finally not shame, byakuya not at all. he need a power up so badly in this arc
@@valentds Byakuya rarely lose tho, he was also one of the fastest in soul society, Hitsugaya was predicted to have great potential but apparently he is too young,his zanpakuto is one of the stronger ones
The character I believe to be a a major Character in this arc: Oscar Joaquín de la Rosa What? Chad's whole power is based on El Diablo. The Devil. Chad's Grandfather must have some connection to hell.
why would he be in hell the cycle is living human -> soul society -> hell or soul society or living human -> hollow -> hell or soul society if ending up in soul society -> hell or soul society (loop) if when being a spirit killed not by Zanpakuto -> the end Chad's grandfather is obviously a descent person and not a captain level spirit in SC, because if he was he would have been in the story already
Ulquiorra is by far my favorite character in Bleach (even in manga in general I think) but I really hope he will not come back since his ending was perfect (especially after I saw your analysis of the character)
It would be awesome to see some kind of battle royale between all the Kenpachis. The true strongest kenpachi can emerge victorious, not to mention Zaraki's bankai ... he already looks like a devil! Also, Kigango looks like a fusion of JuhaBach and Yami lol.
A whole battle royale mini arc devoted to revealing every Kenpachi, and showing an uninterrupted battle that takes at least a whole volume. It would be epic.
Soya is supposed to be locked away with Aizen in mugen, hes not in hell, however I feel like Aizen will be making a reappearance as well as Soya, as the enemies from hell might be too much for the gotei to handle alone

As much as I would like to see Aizen again I really don't think Aizen will help gotei anymore considering how Shunsei locked him up right after he helped to defeat Yhwach.
Ichigo, Aizen, Yhwach, Azashiro vs who ever the strongest person in hell is 😂 Didn't mention Zaraki because he will probably fight alone against hells right hand man
I would love to see a rematch with Szayelaporro and Renji, especially because of Renji's upgraded bankai. OR see Aarroneiro fight Captain Rukia. And i don't know if this could happen but seeing Kokuto and a skull-clad Ichigo would be dope though unlikely
I'd like to see more of Shuren and his gang. Especially Taikon, this fat dude has such a charming personality. I don't think Kubo would spend his time designing all these characters if he didn't have any ideas about their implementation in the story, aside from a Movie 4.
I swear to God, if they bring back Kokuto, they better do him right this time. I liked him better before the reveal of him being a bad guy. He was underhanded, a neglectful older brother, but still sympathetic. And he had a cool design.
That’s what I wanted to see in the new chapter. I understand that Renji couldn’t fight because he had ichika but I still want a redemption for him. Especially since Mayuri had to save him prior to getting the upgraded bankai
Surely not all beings with immense reiatsu go to hell. I hope kubo clarifies that coz beings like stark emerged with dense reiatsu and were good - as opposed to szayel and even the captains that built their strength and also committed heinous acts during their life. Just seems like a Bit of a waste to say anyone who has lots of reiatsu goes to hell and is tormented - looking for nuance kubo!!!

Gin didn't just undertake all of his actions because of how much of a friend Rangiku was to him. He did it because Aizen hurt the person he loved. It's quite clear. I would suspect he might be seen again in this arc. It might be nice to see those too together for real closure. I think in one of the books its mentioned that Rangiku made a grave for him and if there is a grave I would suspect funeral rights were performed.
Gin is my favorite character in Bleach, which puts him high on my favorite of all time list lol. I would probably roar with happiness if i saw him back xD
I think its really likely that gin and tosen had the ritual done to them. They both had redemptions and squad members who would push for them to be reincarnated
My understanding is that the reason for the ritual is because their reatsu is too massive and dense. If they were allowed to "decay" naturally, their reatsu density would destroy soul society.
Exactly, I wonder how Yamamoto's powers would fit in in hell. Probably Hell fires for him would be just a walk in a park.. but I'm sure there's a catch. Also he himself could affect the hell around him, through his own inferno of sorts
She was murdered by Grand Fisher, so her soul must be out of the reincarnation process so I don't think she'll be there. But if she is, I agree it would be awesome
Hopefully Kaname and Gin make a comeback so we can have a sort of kaname and Shuhei reunion so we can see more of Shuheis mastered bankai and Gin and Rangiku reunion, who knows we might see that power Aizen stole from her be mentioned again
I will absolutely cry is Gin doesn’t show up. I loved him + his personality and I don’t think he deserved his fate. At heart, I believe he can improve, change and make amends. I think he truly regrets his behaviour and he knows he is a bad person, and that is a step to improvement!
I'm all here for Tosen. He is my favourite captain visord. Here's my anime BS science for how he gets to be there. No one said it HAS to be 12 years before you can do the ritual so when when he was killed he also saw a hollow die, himself. Ritual complete.
It has to be 12 years, like Ichigo, who has the Soul reaper badge, has been killing a lot of hollows after Ukitake's death but only after 12 years of Ukitake's death when the ritual was completed

@@Jimbobalina1 nah a soul won't die when hollowfied, the soul would just transform into a hollow. Also Tosen died like the people who are expiremented on by hollowfication. And they say everything vanished reiatsu and all after the results. Since Tosen poped like the other guys, it is possible Tosen's reiatsu also just vanished.
I think it will be worked that they all go down their one way or another if their are killed. Tousen was a perfect Hybrid. with high level riatsu. His energy has to go somewhere as the story dictates.
@@valentds why would he learn kido? It take way too many years for human to learn and ichigo is bad at controlling spirtual energy anyway, he can't learn any and they will be all useless to him except binding kido.
You know, I wonder what the theme/motif for Hell will be. Shinigami is traditional Japanese, Quincy is German, and Hollows are Spanish. Hell could be French, Nordic, Celtic, or whatever. I think it will be Latin or Slavonic.
I can 100% see Kubo writing Ulquiorra in somehow, maybe by explaining that Ichigo’s sword slash was the blow that took him out, something else. And I can definitely see some Quincy coming back, probably characters like Bazz B and Askin
I want Ulqiorra to come back and have a face to face with Orihime. That and Gin and Rangiku doing the same and Kyoraku being confronted to Ukitake, Starrk, Unohana etc, you know the people who died because of him, those are exactly the type of things I desperately need
@@sephikong8323 Kyoraku vs Ukitake, Kenpachi vs Kenpachi, rangiku talking with Gin, so many brilliant matchups... maybe even all the captains vs Yama/ ichibei vs Yama is squad zero could somehow get involved... This would be a stretch but there's so much emotional potential if Masaki were somehow in hell.
Imagine if they say Masaki is in Hell. Let's say they say when she was devoured by Grandfisher her Soul didn't vanish, but became intertwined with Grandfisher's soul. Something like that? But just imagine they find a way to bring Masami back. Ichigo to finally meeting his mom. 🤗
Grandfisher was purified by Isshin's Engetsu though, every soul within grandfisher will be sent to SS and will include Grand Fisher's core soul unless if Grandfisher was evil when he was human.
@@thedarkblitz I know it doesn't make sense, I'm just saying that would be cool. I also don't know whether you are correct about devoured souls being set free when a hollow is killed. Is that confirmed anywhere? Always thought they just vanish and get destroyed. Or maybe become part of the Hollow 🤔
but if Masaki ends up being this totally diff, demonic being version as let's say Hell does that if you remain there etc.. idk how Ichigo's gonna take to that lol.
Since the balance is out of wack we could see some characters who might not belong in Hell but would be a great shocker for our heroes. Uryu's grandfather, Rukia's sister, and maybe Ichigo's mother.
Well....we really do have to hand it to gin, his slight of hand tricks really put him an arm length in front of other Bleach charakters, even if he just had a hand full of Appearances. Also one of the best charakters in my oppinion hands down, an anti-villain who didn't mind getting his hands dirty and knew when to get a grip.
Before the countdown jumps off, I want to state how awesome it would be to get Kazui v Grand Fisher. No beef but it would be hilarious to see him get stomped out in a new form by the third generation of Kurosaki
I hope Chad really gets shown some love in this arc. It would be awesome to see him level up and be able to equip a whole armor set instead of it just being the arms. We've seen him tank some big hits in the past. Have him some what resemble kensei in his full hollow form
I would love to see Gin again in the story background coming out at the end like in the Arrancar Arc to be part of the dark side first. Also with scenes like rescuring Rangiku from far away in the blink of an eye so that she does not know who saved her (perhaps the group Rangiku / Momo / Kira / Renji in some dangerous situation). It is also thinkable that the hells door could only be closed from the inside and at the end he is one of the persons who stay in hell to close it with some epic moment like when he went to Hueco Mundo . At the end do not forget he is like an snake, he is unnoticed until he bites.
Shunsui basically says that the ritual might have no effect at all, and that every captain level reiatsu individual could be in hell. If that's the case, any captain can show up in this arc
Need to have Aaroniero transform into Kaien and for Ichigo to finally see Kaien Shiba. Ichigo has an emotional conversation with Rukia, and the reveal to her that he himself is a member of the Shiba Clan. I think it would be a moment where he would have to essentially comfort her and tell her it's alright because she would ABSOLUTELY get depressed and blame herself for Ichigo and hurting another member of the Shiba Clan.
Sora being in hell wouldn't really make sense. What we know of him he was only a nice dude. I mean shit, his human part overrode the hollow allowing him to purify himself. That's damn near the exact opposite type of person hell would want.
@@derpdadouch3654 I was thinking more along the lines of Shinigami being lied to and thinking that their purification of Hollows allowing them to enter SS working differently to what they'd been told. If the purity of your soul was what kept you out of Hell, we wouldn't see Ukitake in there most likely, or even someone like Wonderweiss.
We know that Soul Reapers speak Japanese, Hollows speak Spanish and Quincys speak German. What about the hell arc? The perfect language for a hell realm would be Latin but it’s a dead language. What about Italian? Wouldn’t it be absolutely beautiful to see Italian named techniques? You guys should know how Italian can sound if you watched Jojo
So to answer your question about if Rangiku mentioned Gin's actions to anyone this is actually brought up twice in the light novel "The Death Save The Strawberry". The first incident implies that Gin's actions are probably common knowledge in the 3rd Division as when the persimmons trees he planted bore fruit the first time after his death the 3rd Division held a festival in their late captain's honor. Rose actually attended the festival which helped solidify his developing relationship with Kira Izuru. The second time is when it's mentioned by Kira that he and Rangiku regularly go to visit the grave that Rangiku made for Gin out in the Rukongai where they used to live together in what is revealed to be the 32nd district of east rukongai.
He was cleansed by kyoraku and they didn't perform the ritual for him so pretty sure he's not there but seeing him there part of the resistance group in hell would be dope as fuck
Tousen, Gin, Starrk, Barragan Deserve major roles. We see Gin and Tousen partner with Shinigami in hell and Starrk and Barragan with the Hollows and Arrancars.
What I would give to see Stark again, Kubo did his character so dirty with his battle with Shunsui and then showing us how he was clearly respected by the other arrancar like Harribel In cfyow
I'm surprised there was no mention of Stark or Juushiro (former 13th division captain, however his name is spelled). Both could prove interesting and powerful adversaries if they were warped and twisted in Hell.
Putting my ten before watching the video and seeing how they compare. 1: Gin (ironically you put him in the thumbnail) 2: Stark (Lilynette bonus) 3: Ulquiorra (if handled well) 4: Masaki (letting Kazui hang out with his grandma would be cool) 5: Unohana (for Kenpachi battle royale) 6: Askin (frankly it'll be funny to see him chilling in hell) 7: Bazz B (fire in hell Bois) 8: Jugram (character development) 9: Yamamoto (plus OG Gotei) 10: honestly a random filler character like a bount or something for the memes. Edit: No Masaki? Very surprised. That's on quite a few Bleach speculation threads so far. I didn't expect her in your number 1 but not seeing her... Seems like wasted potential for family angst if we DON'T get to atleast see someone related to Ichigo in hell, whether it be his Mother or a Shiba ancestor.
Maybe for filler characters it could be that one member of the kuchiki clan i forgot the name of that appeared in the zanpakuto rebellion arc. Could have interesting interactions with Byakuya
Even if it's jumping the shark I wouldn't mind a manga appearance of Tokinada Tsunayashiro. There's no doubt he's in hell given the atrocities he happily and remorselessly committed. Be it murdering his own wife, slowly impaling a group of assassins through their spines or wanting to be a tyrant of the worlds while provoking war with humanity...he upped the ante. The others returning will be epic beyond measure.
Imagine seeing Zaraki with fully mastered bankai. Now imagine that same Zaraki utilizing both hands for fighting. Now imagine Zaraki taking on Azashiro and the other Kenpachi head on. 🤤
I think it's safe to assume kubo can make up any new hell logic he wants to explain any character being down there. There is so little canon lore, and it already feels like he's making up new rules for hell in the first chapter alone. Point is, it doesn't really matter how they died. Some characters will be in this story, come hell or high water.
I'm happy you put gin as number two I didn't think you would put hit that high gin in one of my favorite characters in bleach I'd love to see him again he always looked like the type that couldn't be trusted but with the hell look on top of it I would be gassed
Imagine how awesome it would be for Szayelaporro making a ritual for every dead Espada to go to hell now that the gates are open. That would be mindblowing, specially knowing that the dead Espada's soul are probably still roaming in Las Noches.
Nelliel vs Nnoitra would be amazing! I would love to see a rematch! And of course Matsumoto and Gin sharing some intense emotional moments! I would also love for Ulquiorra to come back. Meeting Ichigo and Orihime again!
Im gonna put my money on Masaki (somehow), Unohana, Yamamoto, Ukitake (already confirmed from that chapter), all the previous Kenpachis, and some of the "original Gotei 13" (the unknown captains that never got their names revealed, just a blurry flashback) as well as some Espadas thrown in for good measure 👀
Gin and Kaname, PERIOD! And I also hope he writes Cyotte Stark out to actually still be alive and he chose to give a fake release name using only 45% of his true power in his fight with shunsui.. like umichika uses a fake release name with his shikai..

Ichigo’s mom, Byakuya’s wife, Ulquiorra, Gin. Just to name a few characters that would impact the mc crew directly. Ichigo would be devastated to see his mother in hell. Byakuya might actually lose his composure meeting his deceased wife there. Ulquiorra could reappear to haunt Orihime as a part of her past. Gin could become an obstacle for Rangiku to overcome. Hell will torture the characters by definition. It will have a lot of sad moments and the most EPIC fights in the series.
In Gotei we had the 13 captains, in Hueco Mundo we had the Espada, and with the Vandenreich we had the 26 Sternritter. I did a quick google search and apparently there are 8 Major Hells in Naraku (Buddist Hell), maybe in Hell we can have the 8 Kings.
Few characters I would want to see return are Starrk, Nnoitra, Sasakibe and Ichimaru. I feel like they're all interesting characters and there's still so much to be done with them, especially Sasakibe who we barely knew anything about before he died and was told to having been strong enough to be a captain himself. And Ichimaru just happens to be my favorite character, so I'd love to see how him returning would affect Rangiku and Kira.
I want to see Gin, maybe Tousen. Kommamura. And we KNOW Ukitake is there any will be showing. I think that's so dope. Maybe grand fisher so Ichigo can finish it. So many options.
I want Starrk to appear but he betrays hell and helps shinigamis so both him and Shunsui can finally be less lonely. Also if every dead captain is revived, lots of fans predict: Shunsui vs Ukitake Kenpachi vs Unohana Ichigo vs Yamamoto
Personally I only want to see 2 espada mainly because I feel having more then 2 would kinda just feel like a do over but I’d love to see espada 1 and 4 (granted I think sadly 4 isn’t gonna happen) but stark was such a cool character would love to see more from him, would also love to see ancestors and the original captains and the devil

I’ve got to many questions but the biggest one and the one I’ve had at the back of my head the longest is what happens to any of the memos level hollows because they are made up of thousands of souls, when they die do they go to the soul society as one being or does it split up into the parts that made it, know what I’m guessing is that they stay as one being but they go to hell because of there power level or one of the souls that made them up was a sinner?
If its not dependent on ones personality/morality than I have hope that Starrk will show up again. He's my favorite Espada and even though he got a backstory I feel his potential was wasted and I would love to see more development or screen time with him, and without Aizen commanding him to fight against Kyoraku and Ukitake maybe they could finally just sit down and relax and have some tea in hell.

I think literally every character is on the table for a return. It's obvious from the one chapter we got that Kubo want to go HARD on this arc. I genuinely think any powerful character comparable to or close to a captain in terms of strength has a very high likelihood of returning.
Ulquiorra is by far the biggest give me. A fight between Ulquiorra and Grimmjow where he ends up breaking out his own second stage resurrection would be absolute insanity. Kenpachi versus all of the former Kenpachis to assert his dominance as the absolute strongest. There is a literal endless combination of hype fights you can come up with here in this arc and it's wonderful. Absolutely this is the best way to "bring back" dead characters.
Honestly I'm thinking it's a massive chance for a rematch between a revamped Ichigo and Ulquiorra, though I would NOT mind a fight between Grimm and Ulq at last.
That depends on how Kubo wants hell to work in this arc. When hell first appeared, Rukia explained that hollows that had commited evil sin when they were human got sent to hell after shinigami cleansed them.
Ulquiorra was literally born of nothingness in Huegomundo so he was never a human. And he died because his soul was completely depleted not by Ichigo's blade. So he shouldn't be in hell.
The same is true for Baaragon who was the most ancient hollow so he might not even had beem a humam. And he got killed by his own power.
Szayaleporro was a very evil man and he died by Mayuri's blade so he ended up in hell.

It's not likely Ulquiorra went to hell since the criteria is you have to be a sinner while human or sent via the Shinigami funeral ritual which wouldn't have been done for him. Ulquiorra doesn't appear to be the type to be evil while human. Szayelaporro and Aaroniero went to hell because they are openly wicked and was that way while alive.
I mean it is shown you can complete the ritual without meaning to as long as you kill a hollow before(here is the question how connected does the thing need to me since in this case it was the combat badge), we have no ideal if Szayaleporro was an evil man since crimes committed as a hollow don't count for going to hell, and of course the question of do hollows have the issue of their reshi becoming so dense they can no longer reincarnate,
So really it is a case of how exact do you need to be for the ritual to work/do all captain level hollow auto go to hell since we never saw the hell gates claim sza on death and we saw him die

It does not matter if the holow did evil actions, if when he was human he sinned, then he would go to hell, if he didnt sin, then he reicarnates. Its the actions as Human soul that counts.

Regarding azashiro, it would be relatively easy to introduce him to the story, at the end of the novel he returns to his prison in the muken, so it would only be necessary to ask him for help in much the same way as they did with aizen.

Aizen harmed Rangiku and stole some sort of energy from her. Gin witnessed all of it and the moment Aizen fused the energy with the hogyoku. My theory on on why Rangiku doesn't have a bankai is related to this event.

Gin didn't just undertake all of his actions because of how much of a friend Rangiku was to him. He did it because Aizen hurt the person he loved. It's quite clear. I would suspect he might be seen again in this arc. It might be nice to see those too together for real closure. I think in one of the books its mentioned that Rangiku made a grave for him and if there is a grave I would suspect funeral rights were performed.
Gin is my favorite character in Bleach, which puts him high on my favorite of all time list lol. I would probably roar with happiness if i saw him back xD

Also Tosen died like the people who are expiremented on by hollowfication. And they say everything vanished reiatsu and all after the results. Since Tosen poped like the other guys, it is possible Tosen's reiatsu also just vanished.
I think it will be worked that they all go down their one way or another if their are killed. Tousen was a perfect Hybrid. with high level riatsu. His energy has to go somewhere as the story dictates.

Since the balance is out of wack we could see some characters who might not belong in Hell but would be a great shocker for our heroes. Uryu's grandfather, Rukia's sister, and maybe Ichigo's mother.

Well....we really do have to hand it to gin, his slight of hand tricks really put him an arm length in front of other Bleach charakters, even if he just had a hand full of Appearances.
Also one of the best charakters in my oppinion hands down, an anti-villain who didn't mind getting his hands dirty and knew when to get a grip.
Before the countdown jumps off, I want to state how awesome it would be to get Kazui v Grand Fisher. No beef but it would be hilarious to see him get stomped out in a new form by the third generation of Kurosaki
I hope Chad really gets shown some love in this arc. It would be awesome to see him level up and be able to equip a whole armor set instead of it just being the arms. We've seen him tank some big hits in the past. Have him some what resemble kensei in his full hollow form

I would love to see Gin again in the story background coming out at the end like in the Arrancar Arc to be part of the dark side first.
Also with scenes like rescuring Rangiku from far away in the blink of an eye so that she does not know who saved her (perhaps the group Rangiku / Momo / Kira / Renji in some dangerous situation). It is also thinkable that the hells door could only be closed from the inside and at the end he is one of the persons who stay in hell to close it with some epic moment like when he went to Hueco Mundo .
At the end do not forget he is like an snake, he is unnoticed until he bites.

Shunsui basically says that the ritual might have no effect at all, and that every captain level reiatsu individual could be in hell. If that's the case, any captain can show up in this arc

Well the people of Hell might want to mess up the balance even more and target any one with captain level power including the Zero Squad
Need to have Aaroniero transform into Kaien and for Ichigo to finally see Kaien Shiba. Ichigo has an emotional conversation with Rukia, and the reveal to her that he himself is a member of the Shiba Clan. I think it would be a moment where he would have to essentially comfort her and tell her it's alright because she would ABSOLUTELY get depressed and blame herself for Ichigo and hurting another member of the Shiba Clan.
They did Gin dirty, I would love to see him return. I'd also like to see a curveball like Orihime finding out Sora actually ended up in Hell.
Sora being in hell wouldn't really make sense. What we know of him he was only a nice dude. I mean shit, his human part overrode the hollow allowing him to purify himself. That's damn near the exact opposite type of person hell would want.
@@derpdadouch3654 I was thinking more along the lines of Shinigami being lied to and thinking that their purification of Hollows allowing them to enter SS working differently to what they'd been told. If the purity of your soul was what kept you out of Hell, we wouldn't see Ukitake in there most likely, or even someone like Wonderweiss.

We know that Soul Reapers speak Japanese, Hollows speak Spanish and Quincys speak German. What about the hell arc? The perfect language for a hell realm would be Latin but it’s a dead language. What about Italian? Wouldn’t it be absolutely beautiful to see Italian named techniques? You guys should know how Italian can sound if you watched Jojo

Dead language just means it isn't actively used anymore. You can still learn it/it still exists. Kubo could totally use it

So to answer your question about if Rangiku mentioned Gin's actions to anyone this is actually brought up twice in the light novel "The Death Save The Strawberry". The first incident implies that Gin's actions are probably common knowledge in the 3rd Division as when the persimmons trees he planted bore fruit the first time after his death the 3rd Division held a festival in their late captain's honor. Rose actually attended the festival which helped solidify his developing relationship with Kira Izuru. The second time is when it's mentioned by Kira that he and Rangiku regularly go to visit the grave that Rangiku made for Gin out in the Rukongai where they used to live together in what is revealed to be the 32nd district of east rukongai.

The way he was able to handle masked bankai ichigo goes on to prove that he was quite a prodigy in himself..... Gin's love story should continue....
Tousen, Gin, Starrk, Barragan Deserve major roles. We see Gin and Tousen partner with Shinigami in hell and Starrk and Barragan with the Hollows and Arrancars.
What I would give to see Stark again, Kubo did his character so dirty with his battle with Shunsui and then showing us how he was clearly respected by the other arrancar like Harribel In cfyow
I'm surprised there was no mention of Stark or Juushiro (former 13th division captain, however his name is spelled). Both could prove interesting and powerful adversaries if they were warped and twisted in Hell.

Gin seeing Matsumoto or Aizen and interacting with them would be nice.
Masaki was killed by a hollow, it would not make sense to bring her back.

Maybe for filler characters it could be that one member of the kuchiki clan i forgot the name of that appeared in the zanpakuto rebellion arc. Could have interesting interactions with Byakuya

Even if it's jumping the shark I wouldn't mind a manga appearance of Tokinada Tsunayashiro. There's no doubt he's in hell given the atrocities he happily and remorselessly committed. Be it murdering his own wife, slowly impaling a group of assassins through their spines or wanting to be a tyrant of the worlds while provoking war with humanity...he upped the ante. The others returning will be epic beyond measure.
He was a soul/shinigami and presumably his body desintegrated into reishi and got reabsorbed into the fabric of Soul Society
Imagine seeing Zaraki with fully mastered bankai. Now imagine that same Zaraki utilizing both hands for fighting. Now imagine Zaraki taking on Azashiro and the other Kenpachi head on. 🤤
I think it's safe to assume kubo can make up any new hell logic he wants to explain any character being down there. There is so little canon lore, and it already feels like he's making up new rules for hell in the first chapter alone.
Point is, it doesn't really matter how they died. Some characters will be in this story, come hell or high water.

Ichigo’s mom, Byakuya’s wife, Ulquiorra, Gin. Just to name a few characters that would impact the mc crew directly.
Ichigo would be devastated to see his mother in hell.
Byakuya might actually lose his composure meeting his deceased wife there.
Ulquiorra could reappear to haunt Orihime as a part of her past.
Gin could become an obstacle for Rangiku to overcome.
Hell will torture the characters by definition. It will have a lot of sad moments and the most EPIC fights in the series.

In Gotei we had the 13 captains, in Hueco Mundo we had the Espada, and with the Vandenreich we had the 26 Sternritter. I did a quick google search and apparently there are 8 Major Hells in Naraku (Buddist Hell), maybe in Hell we can have the 8 Kings.
Few characters I would want to see return are Starrk, Nnoitra, Sasakibe and Ichimaru. I feel like they're all interesting characters and there's still so much to be done with them, especially Sasakibe who we barely knew anything about before he died and was told to having been strong enough to be a captain himself.
And Ichimaru just happens to be my favorite character, so I'd love to see how him returning would affect Rangiku and Kira.
I want to see Gin, maybe Tousen. Kommamura. And we KNOW Ukitake is there any will be showing. I think that's so dope. Maybe grand fisher so Ichigo can finish it. So many options.
I want Starrk to appear but he betrays hell and helps shinigamis so both him and Shunsui can finally be less lonely.
Also if every dead captain is revived, lots of fans predict:
Shunsui vs Ukitake
Kenpachi vs Unohana
Ichigo vs Yamamoto
Ginrei Kuchiki, and Sui-Feng's Great-Grandmother(the OG Sui-Feng) would be interesting bouts or interactions to see
Personally I only want to see 2 espada mainly because I feel having more then 2 would kinda just feel like a do over but I’d love to see espada 1 and 4 (granted I think sadly 4 isn’t gonna happen) but stark was such a cool character would love to see more from him, would also love to see ancestors and the original captains and the devil
