I just bought the same model, and year, a few weeks ago. $1500 USD. I've got a friend who drifts BMWS. I'm in much the same position. Except for the engine issues. I'm guessing you probably have some vacuum issues. Nice car though. Good score on the wheels. Factory option.
These look like M-packet wheels (motorsport style optional extra package) for the 46 sedans in EU (style 135 OEM wheels) But yours look a little bit different, I was not able to find your wheels among the OEM wheel options. Could it be an aftermarket wheel with a BMW center cap?
For the shifter YES you can obviously put a short shifter in. I recommend getting your clutch kevlar coated, so you can do clutch kicks without ripping it apart. Also, people put m20 single mass flywheels in it but you can also get a custom made single mass flywheel. Also, get a fake ZHP BMW shift knob from eBay 15$, it is weighted so you'll have "sportier"shifts.
just watched a few of your videos, Stop buying cheap eBay junk and you won't have all the issues your having.. if you pay for junk.. junk is what you get.
It's too true! haha. I wanted this to be a budget build, which it is with the cheap parts, but just takes a bit of time to figure out how to get them to work and a good learning experience non the less.
Yooo this is soo cool 😍
Thanks Brah. Love ya
Keen as to see what you figure out the issue is
Hey bro, thanks for watching! Sussed it out, deats in the next video.

Control arm bushings, and struts in the rear.
Probably needs vamos seals, and a GM5.
*Vanos*
So lucky to have gotten one with 18"M wheels, and M3 interior.
Whats a GM5?

Relays burning out in it is a common problem when they get old.

Yeah I'm not too sure what the wheels are, I'll have to check to see if they're a knock off
@@dominikfulop7188 I ended up buying a short shifter from ebay and it was a nightmare to install haha. I did a vid on it you can check out if you like
