Thomas Jane was the best Frank Castle/ Punisher hands down. As much I appreciate Jon Bernthal and his performance/ characterization, Jane's version was in a league of it's own. Jon's was too emotional and a loose cannon that lashed out every chance he could. Jane's was methodical, systematic, and above all: calm. He made moves carefully and planned two to three steps ahead. He was a damn skilled hunter/predator and when he made his move it was game over. Yes I'm aware in the comics they portrayed Castle in various different dispositions but this one tops em all

I love the attention to detail with hearing the empty casings hit the ground throughout the scene, His weapons handling throughout is pretty good, just a little stiff looking, overall I kinda wish we would have gotten a whole trilogy from Jane's Punisher.
This Punisher was my childhood hero, i remember imagine him been in any horror movie like “the hills have eyes” and say “frank would save the family and kill all the monsters” still my fav
See, this is why Frank Castle is the GOAT. No deluded sense of morality, no stupid anti kill policy, eliminate wicked men for good. No lawyers, no courts, no appeals. Takes them out like he's ordering a Pizza and puts them on a cold slab on a one way train to Hell. Disney could learn something here.
If you think that you not only miss the point of the movie, but the point of the character itself, even killing Saint, Castle never get relief that he wanted, he wanted to kill himself, but couldn't, he get his revenge, but that didnt give him what he wanted, he felt empty, so he began to slaughtering criminals as false sense of justice, basically he is the Judge Dreed of the U. S.
I prefer the way the comics put it (and I'm paraphrasing from memory here): Law, in and of itself, is meaningless. It is the enforcement of said law that gives it any weight. When those in power are either unable or unwilling to enforce the law, punishment becomes the responsibility of those with the will and the ability to do so.
I say Thomas and Jon both portrayed the character so perfectly in their own ways. Both perfect and equal

Yes I'm aware in the comics they portrayed Castle in various different dispositions but this one tops em all
3:23 that music cold in the background
Thomas Jane is the best Punisher of all time. 👍👍👍
POINT BLANK!!!!👒🗡️🐉👍
I loved the the kill right after where this video stops as he’s walking towards Howard Saints office and there’s a guy barely alive on the floor and Castle doesn’t even look down he just points and shoots loved it
Thomas jane’s punisher is so underrated
Imagining Frank Castle can shoot arrows.
Frank Castle: "Yeah, I can shoot arrows"
This is the reference to Hawkeye but look at him finally, he has the longest journey in the MCU.
There is no other Punisher movie. This is the only one that counts.

I love how it's the same few cars just at a flipped recording...
I love how in movies the arrows from a compound bow never are pass through shots. Are they shooting with a 20lb bow? LOL
I was gonna say something but..... fair point. Especially that neck one
@@lego856 Don't get me started on The Walking Dead crossbow shots.
Not to mention he's firing them without a release, manually like a recurve. That's basically impossible with a normal weight compound.
HE still have the grenade launcher loaded but didn't use it
lol
Or how a shot in the back and they instantly die., Out of breath. No yell or anything
He clearly wires the place with no expectations that he is going to get out alive, that's why he is The Punisher, do what needs to be done, by all means necessary
Thomas jane hizo un exelente trabajo como the punisher no se porque no siguio con la saga, ojala algun dia lo podamos ver otra vez
Doctor Strange 2
The music: 😊
The scene and the movie: 💀
I love when the punisher does these kinds of sprees. It makes him stronger when he's in his element
The Golden Hawaiian Swordsman Dragon HIGHLY AGREES!!!! When The Punisher gets in his element......RUN LIKE HELL!!!!👒🗡️🐉👍
4:00 BLAM!! 💥 His facial expression 😂😂, 4:13 Totally nailed his opera audition with that scream 🤣🤣🤣🤣
2:12 - Not one brain cell kicked into gear and thought “Wait, that ain’t Eddie’s voice!”
Out of the 3 The Punisher films this is by far the best one. 1984-2004-2008
lol listen at 1:45 its the sound effect from counter strike when you buy ammo or when you pick up ammo in half-life
No not vengeance ...Punishment chills
Such an awesome and underrated movie. MCU movies can learn from this.
Thomas Jane you are the best !!!!!
Thomas Jane embodied the Punisher. Which stoic vengeance.
Not vengeance, punishment
I like the bow and arrow. He remind me of Rambo that way
When I read Punisher comics I read it in Thomas Janes voice
When I was just a kid, the Marvel Movies that I grew up with are Blade, X-Men, Spider-Man, Hulk, and The Punisher. These are the marvel movies that I have such awesome memories about those films, and these Marvel Movies are still so freaking damn amazing and also these Marvel Movies hold a special in my heart!
does anyone else love how good the 35mm in this looks, i miss when movies were shot on film, the clean pristine mix of dense shadows, haze and grain makes this movie look so good
This instantly became my favourite movie when it came out, still the best punisher 💪🏼
Tom Jane is The Punisher!!!! He is perfect as Frank!
I miss this time period of marvel movies. I like the MCU movies, sure.. but this was when they would only drop one movie a year and also had kick ass soundtracks with them. Also, no Disney.
4:14 dat opera
I love the attention to detail with hearing the empty casings hit the ground throughout the scene,
His weapons handling throughout is pretty good, just a little stiff looking, overall I kinda wish we would have gotten a whole trilogy from Jane's Punisher.
This Punisher was my childhood hero, i remember imagine him been in any horror movie like “the hills have eyes” and say “frank would save the family and kill all the monsters” still my fav
Imagine another Punisher film
Thomas Jane as Punisher
Jon Bernthal as Jigsaw
No dude it would be the complete opposite way around
@Christian Leitel but no one would use him anymore and JB is the current Punisher, so it would only make sense for it to be the other way around
@Christian Leitel ik but if the opportunity ever rose, I would pick Jane as Jigsaw
The law is ALWAYS inadequate.
Thomas Jane is basically the ultimate universe punisher and Jon Bernthal is 616.
This is not revenge,
it's justice. - frank castle
@@TheKeyser94 good point

Vou
Justice is punishment💯
I prefer the way the comics put it (and I'm paraphrasing from memory here): Law, in and of itself, is meaningless. It is the enforcement of said law that gives it any weight. When those in power are either unable or unwilling to enforce the law, punishment becomes the responsibility of those with the will and the ability to do so.
ngl i was hoping there's a multiverse crossover between all Punisher from Dolp Lundgren , Thomas Jane , Ray Stevenson , and the GOAT Jon Bernthal
Killing Franks family has finally caught up to them, because The Punisher has come for them
2:56 when that music starts and he begins cleaning up... I love it!!!
"this is not vengeance"
Batman: damn right buddy. I can sue!!!!!
