RUclips algorithm brought me here, Hi. I've loved Au5 for years. Answers, Guardians, and Dreaming, to name a few favorites. I watched this video and typed out my opinions on the songs before you stated yours. I absolutely loved Summer Days. The lyrics were meh but overall loved it. I was not expecting that! Resurrection gave me chills! What You've Done, I felt was too many lyrics for an Au5 song. It felt like it was more a song for the singer and to focus on the lyrics. That can be good, but that wasn't the right song. The 2nd drop for it, though, is the only thing I would be returning to that song for, and it didn't last long. My problem with Future with You is that the singer was using a whining voice (I guess that's okay since it seems like it was supposed to be a sad song). The song overall went well together. The last song was the best. I love that Au5 sings in his own songs, it hits differently and it's why I love Answers (I'm pretty sure that's him). P.S. You are hella cute! 💖
Definitely a super impressive listen, I feel like it's not the most "cohesive" album ever but it definitely has a progression going from more upbeat, to neutral, to more emotional and ends with a banging happy closer. Definitely on the harder side to get into on first listen, but it's really grown on me a ton this weekend!
