Didn't Toby tell alpha the music is copyrighted, but if alpha told people he remade the music himself since it's made up of free assets (even if he didn't) he could probably get away with it. Literally giving the guy advice on how to avoid getting copyright striked by the music he made.

Some (non-spoilery) advice for you, when you play Deltarune, check for secrets. Backtrack, check suspicious things, all that good stuff. There are some things that, so far, seem to be very important down the line that are hidden, so look out for stuff. Fortunately, the important ones are pretty obvious if you find them, so you should be set if you keep an eye out. This may be a tiny bit spoilery, but make sure that you found at least one big secret before fighting any big bosses.

The plan now is to release a complete handful of chapters out at a time as they’re done for actual money this time (3,4, and 5 were gonna release all together, but just last month the plan was changed to just release 3 and 4 together whenever they’re done with 4’s production)

About the "is there a no mercy/ pacifist route" is kinda hard to answer, there technically is but also isn't, one chapter does have a more "serious" route that you can do that'd qualify as one of the two, but thats all ill be saying as to not spoil stuff Though you've probably already played the game anyway since this recording seems like it was recorded awhile ago so you probably already know all that
Guide for secret route: Step 1. Go back after finding Noelle (pronounced "No L"), whom is you battle partner. 2. Defeat every enemy you see there, and from now on with ONLY Noelle using Iceshock (Guard as Kris to have enough TP to use it) 3. Interact with a large carnival board and insist that you would join her in the ride shown. 4. Go to a merchant and imply a relationship with Noelle 5. Have her steal a ring 6. "Solve" puzzles by saying "Proceed" and ignore Noelle's words 7. Continue with step 2 and defeat enemies with Iceshock only 8. There is a trashcan near the highway if you go down, right, down, then left. Defeat every enemy until you are given an offer. (A tight alleyway when the music stops is NOT the way to go. Turn back until you get the offer.) 9. Go back to the alleyway and start the boss fight. 10. Don't attack the boss with anything. Instead, build up your TP until max and purposefly deplete Kris' HP. 11. Use and insist the Snowgrave spell. After the fight anything you do wont change the outcome, but it is recommended that you grind power before and after to have the max HP and Dmg possible. You are going to need it. It took me like 7-12 tries to beat the final boss.
Deltarune ch1 and ch2 are free but the following chapters (3-7) will not. Ch2 was meant to cost money originally too but due to Covid, Toby decided to release it for free

Guide for secret route:
Step 1. Go back after finding Noelle (pronounced "No L"), whom is you battle partner.
2. Defeat every enemy you see there, and from now on with ONLY Noelle using Iceshock (Guard as Kris to have enough TP to use it)
3. Interact with a large carnival board and insist that you would join her in the ride shown.
4. Go to a merchant and imply a relationship with Noelle
5. Have her steal a ring
6. "Solve" puzzles by saying "Proceed" and ignore Noelle's words
7. Continue with step 2 and defeat enemies with Iceshock only
8. There is a trashcan near the highway if you go down, right, down, then left. Defeat every enemy until you are given an offer. (A tight alleyway when the music stops is NOT the way to go. Turn back until you get the offer.)
9. Go back to the alleyway and start the boss fight.
10. Don't attack the boss with anything. Instead, build up your TP until max and purposefly deplete Kris' HP.
11. Use and insist the Snowgrave spell.
After the fight anything you do wont change the outcome, but it is recommended that you grind power before and after to have the max HP and Dmg possible. You are going to need it. It took me like 7-12 tries to beat the final boss.
