The Pokemon feel does make sense, he helped compose some of the music for the more recent Pokemon games.

Honestly imo chapter 2's ost is a bit... empty, yeah it has good tracks but then the other tracks are the gosh darn same thing, ik that's how it always is but it's too much of the same and almost no differences

Cuz chapter 2 isn’t anything super unique in that regard to other chapters or games as a whole. What exactly chapter 2 makes you think it’s not enough compared to something like chapter 1? Or Undertale itself?

He also did the final boss theme called "area zero lab battle". I don't know if he had anything to do with the second phase of that last battle but since that part is pretty much impossible to lose like the last phase of the final boss of final fantasy 10, so it still pretty amazing that Nintendo allowed toby to make the true final boss battle theme.

26:49 it's my favorite song, but it's also because of the game. This is the theme song for a fight against Susie, but you're Susie during this. And most players I know get into this fight, they're playing Susie beating the shit out of an innocent little guy, and they start throwing. Trying to lose the fight.
Most other games I think players will check out and just keep clicking attack until the fight is over, but Toby Fox gives us games we're paying attention to. We know his games don't work like normal, and we try to have agency and get Susie to lose the fight.
It's such a one-of-a-kind game
From my experience and from what I’ve seen, I’ve seen more ppl dodge but not try to do much of it cuz they’re conflicted. I think you’re supposed to be conflicted cuz you can’t choose a side, which only leads to ppl not doing super well, with some attempts at throwing towards the end the more damage she causes.

For when you do Deltarune "no mercy" run, that doesn't make too much difference in chapter 1, but a MAJOR difference in chapter 2.

after undertale and deltarude, you gotta listen to some other toby fox music, such as the homestuck OST
if you want to listen to one to represent it to choose whether you wanna hear it, try Black by toby fox
i came into the comments to say the same thing lol. homestuck's music was a huge part in shaping toby's music sensibilities. if you want to really understand toby's roots, then you gotta check out homestuck, or at least the music if the comics not really your thing. in fact undertale actually began its production while toby was living in the author of homestuck's basement lol.
just wanna mention tho that the music in homestuck wasnt all made by toby, many different composers all worked together on it and they often would borrow and sample from each other in the process. but toby was eventually made head of homestuck's music team in the later days of the comic, and he often worked together with the other composers on their tracks, so its worth checking out the songs that werent made exclusively by him too

You should listen to the Splatoon soundtrack sometime, not a lot of people have done it yet but it's seriously one of the best Nintendo OSTs ever with hundreds of bangers.
Nuance to this recommendation: the multiplayer mode music might as well be from different games than the single-player campaign’s.

For "Another Him" he got it from "Gaster's Theme", a secret track in Undertale that you can hear when you get one of the easter eggs. And Rude Buster is the game's battle theme.

I don't think he can play guitar, I think he mainly uses virtual instruments through a midi piano.
Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Deltarune is NOT technically a sequel of Undertale and is a Sidequel. It has Undertale characters and themes, but it feels like an AU kinda. However, again, could be wrong.
The forth song (which plays when your in Class cause you playin as a Teenager) I think it would work REALLY WELL in Pokémon Sun and Moon either Anime or the games!
