Payton's modified IS looks dangerously fun on the streets, haha! I've never been in a car that has the ability to break loose like that, it's crazy to watch.
Your brother’s IS300 is wicked… I’d imagine “neck-snapping” would be the best way to describe the acceleration. I’ve always liked the gauge cluster of the IS-class. Reminds me of a watch face. Very cool video!!
TYSON!! Mine too! The damn CD changer isn’t working on my dads IS300 sport Cross we just tried to use it last week. Also it doesn’t work on my ES330, but the single disc slot DOES work behind the screen, and that mark levinson audio with CDs is DEVINE
Acura Man, Thank you for taking me to your road trip, enjoyed seeing the two Lexus together and two brothers bonding,. I remember going through those beautiful roads in UTAH million years ago. Enjoyed your video alot, oh my gosh did not realized its already 2 am - Dave from El Paso.
Man Im finding all these cool videos of our IS300. I got an 02 Manual. Not my daily driver anymore but I still pull it out the garage here and there. I love hearing other IS's. They all sound alike. Except for that blue one. Thats nice! Oh and my IS ate a disk once. Its still in there. I know how the CD changer works as mines broke and I took it apart one day. But this time, a CD got in there and now doesnt show that its there but I think its still in. I stopped using the CD player after that.
1:04 That is a little troubling, tad over 80 and a tad below 4K on the tach. That was one of our non negotiable. 80 mph and below 4k. We used to own a 90 Civic 4 Spd manual.
@@TysonHugie Good to know, I was trying to find one of these for 10 years for my son, but I could never find one for sale, it looks like an ultimate commuter car.
@@TysonHugie I drove to Las Vegas in a 90 Honda Civic 4 Spd small rear glass, I could barely go up the big hill over 60 mpg, a Highway Patrol slowed down from 90 to 60 point and laugh and speed away. No speeding tickets for me. My Sonata does 80 mph at 2k.
Pretty sure it'll just be a weekend toy and is likely to remain mostly stock! The race car has no a/c, no radio, and no backseat, so it's not fam-friendly.
Wow that is sketchy about the seller leaving the key on the top of the tire and instructions of where to find the car (was the seller totally anti-social?). Major red flag there, but glad that first one worked out ok.
I don't know how the arrangements were made, other than the car was on Ebay and my brother handled the paperwork. I was merely the designated transporter. But yes it felt weird walking up to a car in an airport I'd never been to, finding a key, and driving it away over 2,000 miles haha.
Awesome vid. Thanks again for the VIP treatment!
You bet!
That drive from Las Vegas to St. George is spectacular. One of my favorites.
It sure is!

So true!
looks like your brother likes to work on cars. He has a mini lift in the garage. fun video. thank you for sharing.
He does! I need one of those lifts.

I agree, and Lexus did make a watch that looked like the gauge cluster! They go for $400 if you can find one. I managed to grab an Ebay knock-off :)
Always loved the is300. Just wish i could find a clean one
There are still a few decent ones out there
so 20 years ago u haven't aged a bit. much love
Haha I guess you are right!
Nice to see 2 Two Jay's together! Nice garage also!
Thanks 👍
I guess you brother will turn this baby to another track day machine? Altezza family keep going strong! These car will never die😎
Nope this one is going to stay pretty close to stuck as far as I know!
@@TysonHugie Gald to hear you say that, would be great to keep the IS300 all-original, he already has that weapon in the form of that 1000hp IS300!
@@TysonHugie good to know that lexus got an nice family rn, one for family use, another for drag race, perfect combo

Oh yeah Mark L is some high quality stuff!
I’ve always loved these cars. Sick!
Thanks Chris!

You were up late
Is300's are the best. And super reliable
Great cars for sure!
Your bro car is sick and his house
Thanks!

Dang, that's awesome you have an 02 manual!
Cedar City elevation is over 5800 so I believe that would play a role on performance! Great boys, cool cars!
Thanks!
Shannon approves
That's all the validation I ever need!
Thanks for taking along. Where did you find such a clean is 300?
It was listed on Facebook Marketplace in Illinois

Good news is the car doesn't have a lot of road or engine noise at 80. My ILX, on the other hand, screams.

@@TysonHugie I did not fit in a ILX, I wished I purchased the TSX when they were being discontinued, it is always about timing.
Whats your brothers plan for his second "Two Jay"?
