- We were the first ones at the front gate to ride Copperhead Strike on Passholder Preview Night! This is our experience as we lined up to ride, took in all of the theming, and share our thoughts on the experience after we get off!

Cedar Point should've handled the crowds for Steel Vengeance opening like how Carowinds did for Copperhead Strike!
They probably learned from SV
Cedar Point embraces the "running of the bulls" hopefully in that doesn't change but someone will sue
You have to take into account the crowd that certain park brings. Cedar Point is fairly popular tourist park while Carowinds is more like a locals park. Watch how Disneyland handles their crowds on a new ride and it pales in comparison to these parks.

That was a cool evening, even tough I only rode one thing. After we said goodbye to you guys we watched an e-stop in the second launch area. It was cool to see the train getting back to speed for the second half of the ride.

Six Flags Over Texas needs a Mack coaster, we need a new original coaster. But the park also needs more family rides.
Magic Mountain needs family attractions BADLY!

Carowinds is my home park,
and I can’t wait to ride this!! Cedar Point used to be my home park, and Steel Vengeance is definitely the best roller coaster I’ve ever ridden!
But I’m sure Copperhead Strike will be super fun, and it’s definitely a great fit, I think most coaster enthusiasts think so too. Great Video!

I'm riding Blue Fire as my first MACK Rides Launch Coaster this summer. I know it might be the least impressive of the thrill ones, but I'm still pretty excited
It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Sure, the launch isn't impressive, but the rest of the ride is pretty solid. I personally enjoyed the coaster and say it's something worth riding a few times for coaster enthusiasts.
@@nugget_music I very much expect to like it. I'm not as negative as some can be. I even have family coasters in my Top 10, just from how much fun I had on them

@@drewgeyerr On weekdays the lines aren't bad. For rides like Steel Vengeance and Maverick there's still a decent wait but both rides are worth the wait in my opinion.

Toastbuster I saw him too! I saw him holding the camera and then I was thinking who is that I recognize and by time he made it down the steps I had only just realized it was coaster studios and I was like aghhhh darn
I saw him at KD last year in October, but I’ve got bad social anxiety and didn’t say hi lmao.
This ride was so much fun I was very shocked by how cool it was, glad I got front row at night too now THAT was an amazing experience
Coaster Frenzy I’m not sure what to think of other coasters anymore after I’ve already ridden the two greatest ones ever built, SV and LRod.

When it opened it was all about the hang time and airtime but now with Carowinds giving copperhead a new stronger launch I can say it’s now also about the launch!

This ride is looks great we need more of these in the US
Only got a single ride in on Saturday, but it was a great ride, and is a welcome addition to Carowinds. The hang time is definitely it’s calling card. Fury is still king of the park, but I’ll need a few more rides to figure out where it is in the park’s order. Once the park is open during the week In the summer, I’m going to marathon this thing!
It's hard watching Chad after that whole incident, but overall great video Taylor.

I’m going here in June. Super excited, I went there two years ago and can’t forget the 10 minute waits for Fury front row. I highly doubt i would ride 10 times a day ever again.

Hey, I was at the opening of copperhead Strike on Friday while you were there and I'm not sure if you could hear but my friend REALLY likes your videos so I said "he loves you" and you said, "hi whoever that is." I'm sure you don't remember but I just wanted to let you know I did! I love your videos, and it was a great ride!

Sometimes you need a good six or seven security guards to enforce that Southern hospitality. XD
Look forward to the cinematics if you got some, it's also a very photogenic coaster at sunset. Loved this coaster and was there this night, didn't even know this crowd control was happening lol, I went to Fury first because I had fastlane anyways.

Thats to be expected of a new coaster with staff not yet experienced. Given some time to sort out last few problems Mack rides are easily among the most reliable machines out there.
It might just be better trained staff at German parks but other than the SLC in Heide Park being down due to its annual technical inspection i have not once had a coaster break down while i was at a park here in Germany.

I was there saturday i like Cooperhead strike better then my #2 favorite (Maverick) so my #1 is Steel Vengeance and #2 Copperhead Strike .

Why don't parks make a temporary extension queue at openings of new roller coasters? You could close the normal queue until opening time and remove (parts of) the queue when the crowds have left.
Kings island did for mystic timbers
Carowinds did have a temporary extended queue for Copperhead.
I saw u standing at harmony hall and yea I waited 2 hours to ride copperhead strike because the car got suck before the second launch

Its not the best. There’s barely airtime but the hangtime is absolutely insane

Thoughts on the airtime launch?
Harrison Leggo fun, but nothing crazy. Floater airtime, not ejector.
How many trains was it running/is it capable of running?
I dont get why so few parks copy the loading/unloading area of Blue-Fire - especially when building a new Mack -that can almost double the throughput.
Because if the guests spend more time in lines they will have less time to experience what they want which likely means they will either buy fast passes or come back for another day, and any of these options mean that money is going into the park... So basically a less likeable customer experience for the sake of corporate greed. Quite sad really.

Did this have queue music? It was a little hard for me to tell and I’ve been suspicious that it will since the promos always used the same song.

Coaster Studios I’ve been listening to off-rides and it sounds like they didn’t. I’m kinda surprised, this might be one of the most heavily themed coasters CF has built and one would think there’s music to go with all that scenery. I mean, even Electric Eel has good queue music and that one doesn’t have much scenery except for some weird rocks. I wish CF would collab with IMAscore again. I love the Mystic Timbers soundtrack.

As a European the amount of security here from the entrance Metal detectors to the Crowd control security guards creeps me out. Like it feels unnatural y'know. Also the big gate in front of the fireplace like why is it there, are they just too afraid to get sued by bad parents? Again this is probably standard for the US but still it's quite unsettling to me.
Also Copperhead strike looks good. Looks like it Could definitely keep up as a main attraction if it was at a small or medium sized park. (Again European terms so when I say mid size I mean around 3-6 coaster parks like Tripsdrill or Drayton Manor size.)
