40-50+ years from now, people will marvel about anyone that got to see Dolly at Dollywood the way people saw Walt at Disneyland in the 50’s and 60’s
She should make it to 100 no problem, but I hear ya.
@@jaya1000how old do you think Dolly Parton is?? In 43 years she would be 120, not just 100. Lol
@@bradylewis9698 she might make it 120
Fr I can’t believe they got to see Dolly! I’m so jealous! Lol
Love to see that dolly is still so involved in the park. Even writing a song just for the ride.
"Still"?
The park was renamed after her.
@@HeyMavDak Major companies have their names on sports stadiums, but their CEOs don't show up for games, Dolly is hands on with her park
How does she play guitar with those nails? 😂❤
Dolly is a national treasure. I like the new trend of family coasters that are highly-themed, fast, twisty, and low to the ground; a good step between kiddie coasters and more extreme rides.
Wouldn't be into her music but she's an absolute gem of a person.
@@beerfish109 I'm also personally not a fan of her music, but damn is she so talented.
She definitely knows how to use a honeypot. :D
Everyone is a fan of her music, even if you don't know it. She's written hundreds of songs for others.
@@RA-hx9uc you're assuming that everyone listen to the same music.
Dolly Parton being so dedicated to her own park and yet disliking riding roller coasters is hilariously sweet to me
Not unlike Ed Hart.
Ive met Dolly a few times and she is by far one of the sweetest human beings i've ever met. So happy that she still takes pride in every new attraction at the park.
Dolly is such a timeless legend!
I am so glad that we are in a new era where family coasters don't have to be boring. Can't wait to see what it'll look like once there will be more vegetatation around.
Dolly Parton.., a icon in the country music industry a humanitarian and beautiful person she's been for decades! you can't beat better theme music for that roller coaster with her singing it.
I love that Dolly 🦋 brings a theme song to her opening attractions.
This level of love and happiness surrounding what will be some youngster's first real roller coaster ever nearly brings a tear to my eye.
This is what life should be.
What a joyful sequence with Dolly... loved it!
I love how you can just tell Dolly is proud of this park
The interaction between you guys and Benjamin Bear was so cute and wholesome. Its hard not to have a little moment when seeing Dolly in person. I love that she wrote a song about Big Bear Mountain.
The fact that Dolly doesn’t age at all!! Enough reason for me to watch this video!! She looks great!!!
You must be American…Im from Europe and I must admit I almost spit coffee on my phone when I saw her in this video. She is a sweetheart, but to say that she doesnt age is ridiculous. She looks exactly what she is. 77 years old having done an obscene amount of plastic surgery.
@@MikkelJankovic you’re right! I am American. And I live in California so I’ve seen it all..including 77 year old women with BAD plastic surgery! Again I say, SHE LOOKS GREAT!!!
@@enizzle007 No she doesnt. Your standards of beauty are seriously messed up. She looks like a mummy. Facts
Way to GO Dolly! She's the icing on her themed park cake.
It’s so impressive to me that Dolly Parton writes a new song for every roller coaster she opens.
This one is the theme song from the old "Davy Crockett" TV show, but her new lyrics are funny.
Wow the first shot you have directly after the Dolly performance was absolutely one of the best pieces of coaster footage I’ve seen you guys capture. Tremendous job. What a beautiful looking ride on film.
Gotta love Dolly! She is a Tennessee treasure!
I would love to meet Dolly. From what I've heard she's an absolute sweetheart.
Dolly Parton is a national treasure and so adorable! This ride looks so fun and I cannot wait to get down to Dollywood sometime so I can check it out. Thanks for the great video and I'm glad you guys liked the coaster! =)
Man Vekoma has really stepped their game up their new coasters are top tier
Really nice shot at 7:10. Good job! And thanks for including Dolly's performance!
Dolly is in her Late 70’s and yet she sounds 100 times better than me 😂😂😂
Dollywood needs a good dark ride now!
Blazing Fury is fun haha
I always wondered if she rode any of the major roller coasters at her own park and I got my answer 😂
Dolly Parton. Just like Betty White. Will work every day she is around and cares so much about everything she is involved in.
Also just want to say your Coaster Studios polo shirts look great.
Dolly is an idol! 😭😭I can't wait to visit this place.
Dolly is such a sweetheart 😂
I’m so jealous! Dolly is such an icon! How awesome she came for the opening and even sang a song about the bear of big bear mountain! I cannot wait to get out there and ride 😊
I´m here for the coaster of course, but man, how can you not love Dolly!
Dolly is an icon fr ✨✨
That footage is stunning!
Dolly is such an amazing person. As a guitarist I have NO clue how she plays guitar with those freakin nails haha.
Dolly energy is what Disney parks are missing. She doesn’t even ride these coasters, but you can tell she is passionate about this family coaster.
Even drops some old Davey Crockett rhymes down.
This was so cute it made me cry
bless Dolly, she’s a national treasure ❤
Sea Bear content was A+
Dolly should release a studio version of the Big Bear Mountain song.
I rode it the last week of June. It was a great ride. It was pretty hot that day but the line moved along at a decent pace. This by far one of my favorites. I stopped riding coasters years ago due to neck and vertigo issues. The initial takeoff was a bit of a dizzy moment but after that it was excellent! This will probably be the last coaster I ride and if it is I went out with a roar. Great ride!
Love that Dolly casually trolled Disney with her own pot of honey. The legend sings, Big is the Bear.
Hopefully they pull a european park move and add in more decoration and foliage as the years go on.
Only Dolly Parton would have an entire outfit created for a coaster opening day.
Can't wait to go back there!

Sarah: I love vekoma
Taylor: *Flashbacks to the blue hawk and Vekoma Flying dutchman parodies*
btw for a family coaster it looks very fast
12:04
Benjamin bear i believe is based on Benjamin Bloemendaal. The layout designer of vekoma.
8:22 At first I thought Sara was chasing that child in a race to get to the ride line. I was like dang, Sara is getting really agro about Vekoma.
It’s so good and such a great addition to the park
Shoutout to the cinematic scene with the lady going down the stairs at 07:38
And what is so cool is that area where the woman came down the stairs is where the wildwood grove characters is located at.
such an amazing shot
Looks beary fun!
Bravo perfectly say
Got to ride it on Saturday. Opened at 1pm to the public me and my kids got in line at 12:20 they open early and only had to wait about 30 min. We got off the ride a little before 1pm ride was awesome, as we were leaving, now the line was at least 60-90 minutes, glad we got in line when we did
I’m glad Queen Dolly was there
Wow Dolly looks great. Sounding sharp. What a legend.
Not sharp# musically. Sharp as in doesn’t miss a beat mentally!
Great video as usual and the coaster looks stunning. Nice seeing Dolly there. 👍👍
Ok I'm officially a Dolly stan now
OMG, Sarah you look gorgeus! Your makeup and Coaster Studios polo shirt are wonderfull...
Gave me goosebumps. Love Dolly.❤❤❤
This is awesome!!!! Dolly!!!!!!
Dammit Dolly now that song is gonna be stuck in my head all day
I love the owners and their fun
Dolly still does it for me ❤
Keep up the videos king. Favorite RUclipsr fr
Dolly is so awesome haha
I went Saturday took about 50 minutes to get through the line by the time I got off the extended queue was full and it was over 60 minutes. Enjoyed the ride but my four year old was scared thinking she would “see big bear”. We hit the breaks and said we didn’t even see him we need to go find him again. I don’t particularly like the restraints as it was awkward to ride when it came to leg placement. I found the most comfortable position is to extend your leg as far as you can forward then pull down the restraints. Still enjoy a park that I can ride so many bigger rides with my daughter! Keep it up Dollywood!
@3:20 It's Dolly Parton!! ❤❤
It looks lovely! I feel like it wouldve been a nice touch if at the end you passed through a cave with the bear in it. But overall a fantastic family coaster regardless!
Looks SUPER smooth…
omg i wanna see dolly soooo bad😭😭😭😭
Dolly for president!
Playing the guitar with THOSE NAILS??? She’s not human 😭😭😭
honestly the most impressive thing is that dolly is able to play guitar with those nails
New vekomas sound so good
Love Dolly!!
Went to D.W. on Mon. 5/15/23 and TimeSaver passes for Big Bear are closed/not available until mid week of 5/21/23 (likely Wed. 5/24/23 or Thurs. 5/25/23) Hosts mentioned they are still getting their "Bear-ings" with loading the ride and no TimeSaver holders will be allowed for about 10 days. Check with staff before purchasing a TimeSaver pass if you're wanting to skip the line on this ride. (Rode 3 times and waited 42, 57, and 34 minutes each time but it's definitely an amazing coaster!) Que does move fast and Hope this helps someone...
😮 looks good 👍
looks wicked
you're right, It does sound like hagrids bike coaster when it first launches.
I hope to get done there in June to ride it. I see
Big Bear has power. And with great power, bears great responsibility.
Nice!
3:53 hey my cousin the attraction manager gets a shoutout in Dolly’s song! His name is Benjamin.
Sorta on an off topic note, I rode DarKoaster today, and it was very underwhelming. Waited in queue for 2 hours just for it to be a mediocre ride. You guys are not missing anything lol.
Nice video ❤
Takoda wouldn’t believe that this is vekoma
He and Mr Vekoma have probably settled their differences
HEY IT'S ME AGAIN AND I LOVED THIS VIDEO
Drove 12 hours for the trilogy parks. Was hoping to see you guys but it was closed for public until 230! Great time, great ride, and Lightening Rod cleared all the other coasters on the trip. INSANE!
What is/are the trilogy parks?
@@davidfranco1475 Dollywood, Carowinds, funspot Georgia or six flags Georgia.
I like how part of the ride is looking for something
Nice
Ok, so Dolly Parton is an animatronic and I'm scared. Well, I guess she'll live on forever now...in complete utterly horrifying fashion.
All these new, good Vekoma coasters are what you get when Mr. Vekoma finally listens to Taylor’s criticisms instead of throwing him in the trash bin.
lol
13:09 should have interviewed those people cause they were listening to every word 😂
Omg y’all were there that makes me so mad I was there to I wish I could have saw you
When’s the next new ride coming out so I can see Dolly Parton?
My mom and i are at 11:38 walking off cause we didn’t want to wait in line a second time to ride big bear instead of riding other rides!!!
Is it in reality also so quiet? Nice work Vekoma.
It is very quiet!
You look like you get some pretty good airtime on that ride.
Missed a pun opportunity.
"We haven't found it to Bearify"
There are only two celebrities that don't come off as egomaniacs for having their own theme park. First is Walt Disney because the Disney name had already come to be bigger than the man himself by 1955 and his films and cartoons were almost all instant classics during Walt's tenure. The other is Dolly Parton because she is a legend and an absolute national.... no GLOBAL.... treasure. As much as I love the coasters at Dollywood, I just love the whole atmosphere and heartwarming vibes. And you've gotta love the Chasing Rainbows museum.
What other celebrity-owned parks are there?
Cuz Merlin the wizard didn't create Merlin the theme park chain.
Epic
Is the reaction pov coming soon?
Unfortunately we weren’t able to film one during this event.
10:44. It looks similar to the sign of Rougarou at Cedar Point.
I think the Disney attorneys will be contacting Dolly about that song.
