I totally agree. I enjoyed my time at Wild Adventures a few years ago. Cheetah was the best coaster at the park, and Twisted Typhoon was glossy smooth when I rode it. It is a nice park. Swampwater Snake is a Zamperla mini mouse. There's a few of them around, I think 4 in the country.

After watching your take it definitely looks like it's worth stopping in and checking it out. Love the channel, keep up the good work!! 👍👍
If you go back, I recommend going around Halloween time. The park does its own version of universal's Halloween horror nights and I remember it being one of the most fun times to go because of how much effort they put into the spooky atmosphere and special attractions
That's the funniest thing ever but they didn't have terror in the wild last year and cast members don't know about this year either I hope this changes though
Thank you all so much for posting this! BGW is currently my home park but I’m moving to North Florida and Wild Adventures will become my home park. All of my new work colleagues talk about how great the park is especially for kids. So the locals like it which is usually a better barometer than people who have only been there once expecting a premier park. I like how you all find the good in things and also understand the target market and the reality of the locations. I got that same vibe from the Pepa Pig Land video.
That probably explains why they closed Cheetah - They tried to make Wild Adventures a bigger thrill park, but for whatever reason (probably due to its relatively remote location imo) Herschend saw that it worked better as a smaller family park. The animals are a nice hook that help it stand out tho. That gives them a leg up compared to something like Michigan's Adventure.
I live in Valdosta! Woody Harrelson was staying in the house next door to me during filming. The guy I bought the house from had beers with him! I’m glad you liked the park.
7:02 this ride model is one of my 99 credits, they have one in Austin. It’s a Zamperla Mini Mouse so basically just a kiddie wild mouse. Fun smooth kiddie credit where you slide all over the seats haha
I think Wild Adventures tries to focus more on their zoological attractions than their thrilling attractions. But if they wanted to, they could become the Busch Gardens Tampa of Georgia.

The parks old standout ride used to be cheetah the CCI woodie and I was really bummed when it went defunct. I originally thought that they were going to RMC it but its been so long that I doubt its going to happen.
Went there for the first time last year during Labor Day weekend. Had a great time, but the coasters were running absolutely awful. Boomerang had some weird jolts on the second spike that THRASHED your skull into the headrest, and Twisted Typhoon was running just as bad as Flight Deck. Must’ve been 2021 maintenance or something 😬

I went there for the first time on a band trip and were on the twisted tycoon and I never rode a looping coaster but it was amazing and now I really want to go to other parks 🙂
This is my home park. I used to go here as a kid with my family before the water park was a thing. Fun fact, the Twisted Typhoon used to be called "Hangman" and it was Red. They also used to have way more I guess you would say fair rides. I now bring my girls here they are 6 and 2. My 6 year old is almost tall enough for boomerang, her and I love roller coasters. Slowly waiting for her to get taller. Lol.
Wild Adventures is a very enjoyable place for me. I've been to the Dinosaurs,Pumpkin Luminights and Christmas Wild and Bright and I love Splash Island. I'm looking foward to the Water's Edge Expansion in March. Their painting their ferris wheel yellow and moving it to the Water's Edge. They will have 2 other new rides, new food vendors, new animals etc. The next expansion I want to see is Splash Island in the future along with a blue painted ferris wheel added. I've also mentioned to Wild Adventures they should add an Easter Wild and Bright Light Show. I'd also like to see them add a marine aquarium exiblit similar to what Georgia Aquarium has in Atlanta GA with marine animals. They answered me on the Easter Wild and Bright and said they would send that idea to they're team for consideration so this might happen in the future. One last thing I'd like to see new animals especially elephants and flamingos.
I worked her as a zookeeper in the petting zoo ( a area for kids to pet all the animals ) . I got bit by one of the hogs I worked with, cut my finger right in half. They told me I was being extremely dramatic and that I shouldn’t have reacted in fear ( I was 17, it was my first time something like this happened).
Lol this was a quirky vlog but looks like a nice and cozy amusement park. Frankly looks and in person probably feels more like a typical European amusement park of that scale than an American one. Like just watching the vlog it definitely had some European esque vibes. Shame its lineup these days is fairly reduced compared to the past. Cheetah of course got scrapped after 2020 so I'd say the park needs something in its place. And frankly considering the lineup, I can't help but wonder what would be a better replacement other than another woodie. Like IDK I just have a hard time imagining something else... Maybe a Chance GTX similar to Lightning Run? IDK.
I live not far from there. People dont go there cause of price and parents just dropping their kids off and leaving them unattended for them to run wild and cause problems. People are having a hard time paying bills and putting food on the table and cant afford to go there.
How did i not know zombieland was filmed here? Meanwhile i watch the righteous gemstones season two and instantly google to confirm their riding swamp fox.

It's nice for a day trip with the kids. We're only 30 min away.
I went there for the first time on a band trip and were on the twisted tycoon and I never rode a looping coaster but it was amazing and now I really want to go to other parks 🙂
An alcoholic beverage at a hershend park, that's surprising.
Lol.
I thought that was the case! Hangman was actually the first roller coaster I ever got on. I used to love going here with my mom during the summers.
They also don’t care as much as you’d think about the animals. Especially the birds in the water park. It’s extremely embarrassing honestly…
I work there too and I remember that
Luna Park has that same Mini Wild Mouse ride.
I was there the day y'all were I saw your friend with glasses he went on dranamo after me I saw he had a camera on so I didn't ask who he was
What no paddleboats on the lake? I thought you had to have paddleboats if you had a lake in your theme park. ;-)
"Boat 1 hasn't returned to the dock yet, check to see if it's stuck"
More like Mild Sadventures amirite amirite I don't know if I'm right I haven't watched the video yet.
I work there and I think that's me and a co worker in orange at 5:19
Are middle school band is going to SFOT
This park was one of the first parts I’ve ever been to.
IDK.
Sarah's singing voice. Wow!
I live not far from there. People dont go there cause of price and parents just dropping their kids off and leaving them unattended for them to run wild and cause problems. People are having a hard time paying bills and putting food on the table and cant afford to go there.
Twisted Typhoon looks very nice even though it’s an slc
How did i not know zombieland was filmed here? Meanwhile i watch the righteous gemstones season two and instantly google to confirm their riding swamp fox.
