My 6-year-old grandchild, with suspected ADHD/autism, struggles to settle down in the evenings. Tonight, he's with me, and as usual, there's a lot going on in his body and mind, making it hard to fall asleep - until I gave him headphones and played this. This is a demonic trend and if you do not believe this I suggest you try it before you continue to subject children to this. I am trying to help as it is very evil that people would develop this to ruin people. One even has screaming at the 3 hour mark strangely.
Where has this been all my life? White noise is nails on a chalkboard compared to this. Have compared to all the other inevitable suggested colored noise vids that youtube now throws at me, this one is the most soothing by far.
The last two nights my husband and I have been woken up after 5 hours due ads. Scared the crap out of me, and I wasn't able to get back to sleep. Someone left a comment that we could buy this track from the creator, and I couldn't be happier! I'm looking forward to a full night's rest tonight!
I can't describe how much this helps me. I have ADHD, which leads me to severe procrastination and lack of sleep (insomnia). I've been trying lots of background noise strategies and this is BY FAR the one that helps me the most. THIS VIDEO HELPED ME TO WORK NON-STOP FOR SIX HOURS!!! Can you believe it??? And it also helps me to relax before going to bed. I've been sleeping more than 5 hours a day and I can't remember the last time I was able to sleep this much. I'm so very thankful to the author of this!
Ohmygosh I relate so much because it has done the exact same thing for me! ( Except for this short moment when I got distracted by the comment section. Let me get back to what I was doing!)
I am a Misophonia sufferer and this is doing an amazing job of blocking out neighbour stomping sounds and dogs barking in the neighbourhood. It really is a miracle, thank you so much.
Nothing works for me sadly. I can turn on Beatles full volume on noise cancelling headphones in my room with the door closed and still pick out a family member chewing in the kitchen 30 feet away. But I do come back to this sound every now and then anyway.
All of your music helps me work and focus, but nothing is quite as hardcore effective as this brown noise video. This settles my ADHD brain and allows me to think so clearly and sink into my hyperfocus mode. Thank you!
I have ADHD and I can't believe it it's like silence in my head. I think that is why I love rain so much because of the sound. I can instant concentrate better and focus on reading books or learn something.
ADHD and severe tinnitus. I wear a nightime headband that has flat earbuds and I cover my eyes with it. This channel has been the game changer. Thank you for this! I am now sleeping 7-8 hours instead of 4! 😀
This is the best brown noise on the internet in my opinion. Great blend of deep and smooth noise and the tone is perfect! I get such a great night's sleep and dampens all the other sounds around you. Thank you for posting this! I sleep so well! 😴
@@MindAmend~ is there a way to get RUclips to stop these new ads that blast after 5-7 hours of sleep? It’s so startling after peaceful sleep w the brown noise. I can’t trust it anymore.
@skiingharpist3147 Unfortunately, this is a trend I've seen happening on all the long-play 8+ hour sleep tracks I've checked out on RUclips. I used to think it was just happening to my channel randomly and I posted many support tickets to RUclips about it. Without anyone giving me an explanation. Then I discovered that all the long-play sleep videos on other channels have a most-played part at around 6 hours. Which is when ads are playing. So it's happening on all videos of this type and length. RUclips has it in its terms of use that it reserves the right to show ads, even if creators have them turned off. I guess they are just trying to recover the increased bandwidth costs of playing videos for many hours without ads. I've always had mid-video ads turned off and I have no additional control over them. I'm afraid the only way to guarantee no ads is via a RUclips premium subscription.
@mindamend. Thank you so much for your kind explanation. I appreciate your time and your work to make the brown noise for us. I’ll use it during the day. Thank you again for providing your channel on RUclips, despite their unannounced changes at six hours. It’s a shame, as so many people found this to be a comforting and beneficial relief.
My apartment shares a wall with a 24h arcade and this is the only thing that helps block the noise. I am struggling with a new town I moved to, without knowing a soul and severe depression. As my trauma resurfaces and people are banging away in the arcade, this video brings peace and calm in my heart. Thank you. ❤
I suffer severe anxiety along with CPTSD...was at the edge about 15 mins ago. I stumbled upon this and I am so thankful. I agree with those who say white noise can be chaotic...I never knew of this til now. Thank you so much.❤ P.S. The visuals are perfection😊
I have had trouble sleeping since I was a kid. Terrible insomnia as an adult. On Ambien and still have a problem falling to sleep and staying asleep. Much worse since my Dear Mother passed a couple of months ago. I tried this for the first time last night and slept so good. I’m back tonight! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💜👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I'm very sorry for your loss. I too come here to help me sleep. I lost someone I loved too recently and this video helps me get to sleep so much easier. Sending love your way.
I want to also add, joining a CrossFit gym was the best thing I ever did for myself regarding my sleep. Also, try to eliminate things that are stressful to you in your life as much as humanly possible. Learn to say no to things you really want to say no to and yes to things you really want to say yes to. Get back in touch with yourself and heal your past traumas. It's a journey and not necessarily a destination but the closer you get the better your sleep and overall sense of well being is going to be.
Note about ads in the video. I have always had mid-video ads turned off on all the videos on my channel. I have no intention of ever changing that. However, you should be aware that RUclips reserves the right to show ads in their terms of use, even when creators have them turned off. So I'm afraid I have no control over that. I've researched videos and comments on my own and many other channels. RUclips does appear to insert an ad break on videos that are 8+ hours. This is why you see a most-played part around 6 hours on every long-play music/audio video on RUclips. If you look at it from RUclips's perspective, they have to cover the bandwidth costs for many hours of video without showing ads. So although I don't want them there, I can understand why they may be exercising their right to insert them. A RUclips premium subscription is the only way to guarantee there aren't ads in any video.
Thank you for creating and publishing this video. It always works more or less depending on my ability to let go of shit. The visuals are a nice addition some nights. Others it’s got to be pitch black. I am rambling so my surrender is starting. Thank you again….
I listen to this video every day while I read. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been through the whole loop. Thank you so much for this. I wouldn’t be able to focus and enjoy reading so much without it!
@@alstqnRUclips saves where I’m at in the video when I close the app so when I open the video to read again it just keeps going and at some point every few days I have to start the video over lol I don’t read 12 hours straight.
This sound reminds me of sitting in the back of the car while your parents drive you home. While you look out of the window and slowly start to fall asleep So peaceful
I used to love falling asleep in the car , especially on a sunny (but not hot ) day. Just listening to traffic whiz by and the sound of the tires buzzing
I was up untill 6:30 in the morning because i was overthinking all kinds of stuff, i found this and i was completely out within 2 minutes. I just slept for 10 hours
This is actually amazing. It literally stopped the continuous noise in my head. I didn't think it was possible. I realize now why it's so easy to relax on the plane. 😌
I don't normally use this for sleeping but I do have a hard time focusing on reading. I'm trying to finish this 672 page long book and this is really helping with all of the noise in my house. Thank you to whoever made it
Any time I try to use another brown noise on a music app, I always come back to yours. It’s absolutely the best to help block distractions without adding stimulation.
I don't sleep much: 3 hrs a night if I'm lucky. I listened. My body fell totally relaxed. My arms dropped onto the bed, my tight neck that has ached for weeks relaxed, and never been this relaxed not even on the best of tranquilizers. This is the best thing that has happened to my very anxious self. Thx!!
I've recently been "diagnosed" with tinnitus and moderate anxiety. I'm honestly still in my early stages of coping , especially at night, but the way these brown noises give me relaxation is amazing. I just really want to thank the creator and let everyone know I read all the comments. The sound mixed with positive stories helps dial me back in and I stop thinking my world is crumbling around me.
this sounds like when you’re hiking a trail in the mountains and you get close to the waterfall and start to hear it, but you can’t see it yet….. it’s such a peaceful noise
Brown noise is my favourite kind of noise. It reminds me of a made bed which has been tucked in around the edges or a perfectly round pebble you find on a beach, smooth all over.

I have been using white noise for half my life - I only just discovered brown noise through an article. My goodness this is peaceful and I can tell the change in frequency
I usually don’t really pay attention to the graphics in these types of videos but this one goes so well with the sounds. It kind of reminds me of an updated version of those old MS screen savers from the 90s that were so mesmerizing.
I never understood why the sound of an old heating system was comforting until I found these videos ! Thanks for uploading these- you're doing very important and impactful work :)
I have severe panic attacks and c-ptsd, I was skeptical at first while struggling to calm down from a panic attack I’ve been having on and off all day. No matter what I tried it always came back. But within a few minutes of listening to this, I finally felt my heart rate slowing down and the tingling sensation in my fingers going away. Thank you
I use noise cancelling earbuds at night to block out my wife’s snoring. White noise was a bit too harsh and would wake me up several times a night. We all know how frustrating it can be to be woken up at night as it prevents that solid nights sleep we all crave. This “brown noise” is much more soothing and calming. Thank you so much for this, works wonders and helps me wake much more refreshed!
What earbuds do you use at night? If you don't mind my asking... I can't find any that don't either a) fall out at some point or b) hurt my ears (I'm a side sleeper).
@@Star111490 I’m also a side sleeper and I use beats buds, but not the expensive ones. They aren’t even completely wireless, the have the wire that wraps around the neck. They usually don’t stay in my ears all the way thru the night, but I make due lol
I live on the third floor of a building in a noisy and windy urban area. The ventilation system tends to amplify a gusty breeze into a hurricane and there are sirens going by at all hours. I finally got some sleep listening to this at very low volume on some inexpensive but good quality noise cancelling headphones. I've never liked earbuds and the headphones are very comfortable, but I worry that sleeping with them on they'll eventually get broken.
The first time I ever heard brown noise I felt at peace in my mind, but you have perfected it. I put this on every night when I go to sleep. At first I used it to block out the tree frogs talking to each other outside my bedroom and noticed I couldn’t hear my noisy neighbors stomping around either. The next morning I realized I slept THE WHOLE NIGHT and it dawned on me that I went right to sleep as soon as I hit the pillow. Your brown noise is the perfect frequency or tone to calm my mind and relax me into a deep sleep. Thank you so much!
knew about white noise and just found out about pink and brown. white was too static and pink too high pitched. but brown! oh brown!! you are something else. to me it sounds like being in back of an air plane just so soothing and relaxing. I have constant headaches and overthink everything brown noise helped both those problems by relaxing my brain and thoughts and slowing me down to where could analyze and think, and help me sleep ontop of it.
My God, I am blown away. I did not expect the immediate, full, calm enter my nostrils and ears like a welcomed soft deep breath while my eyes closed and I felt an involuntary gasp of visceral, emotional, physical relaxation and ease of tension throughout my body and mind that I have never known before. I was not even aware I was walking around with all of that. I thought I would try this as it is 5:17 am once again night after night after year after decades…I always feel like a ghost, unless I am working, as everyone else seems to be asleep. I feel a deep sense of well being and I am so shocked to write that I think I feel sleepy and will try to see if this can help me achieve this. I wish you all a beautiful rest full of peace, and adventurous, wondrous dreams. ❤
This doesn't make me sleepy yet. I just found it having woken up! But waiting for an adult ADHD diagnosis, this is very calming and is also dealing with my procrastination and focus. Feel super calm, warm, and happy :-) Now trying to do a short medication to set up my day with it :-)

Sorry to hear that. Can I ask if you were having symptoms like dizziness too? I've been thru 2 very stressful years and my brain was overloaded with negative thoughts and anxietys about future. Most of the time I feel dizzy and some days I feel like the world around me isn't real and then all of a sudden I get the feeling like a switch in my head will be turned off and I will become unconscious

Presently in the hospital, sharing a room with an elderly lady who mumbles and talks in her sleep in a high-pitched voice. When I activate this soothing brown noise soundscape all that interference disappears and I'm able to sleep. You're a miracle worker!
I work in admin in a school and have a very loud class next to my office - This has changed the way I work - I am able to concentrate and block everything out - I didn't realise I had any stresses or anxieties before I listened to this, but they are instantly lifted - I stream it everyday for the solid 5 hours I work. Thank you
Anyone else stop thinking so much after listening to this? I had several worries racing through my mind and was anxious and this calmed me down after only a couple mins, if even that
I've been going through a lot with family and I'm living in a uncomfortable environment for the time being and was looking on RUclips for calming sounds and I found this and I feel like can sleep a little better, it just reminds me of my childhood and the AC we had
This is the best brown noise I’ve ever heard! Love how deep it is! Like a rushing waterfall meets a fan. However, I wish it was a black screen so I could run this all night long 😔
Thank you. I dimmed the visual to 40% after 45 seconds, as I was thinking about people wanting to sleep with it. I would love to make lots of black screen videos. However, I have a gut feeling that RUclips will eventually penalise channels with lots of those. So I am reluctant to make many of them. RUclips are big on clamping down on channels with what they perceive as duplicate content. Although I have different variations of brown noise, an average RUclips reviewer could well look at multiple brown noise videos with a black screen as just dupliate content and think I'm just trying to game their system. When I'm not. I have already had my channel demonetized twice in the past for what was perceived to be duplicate content by a RUclips moderator. I was extremely relieved and very gratefully reinistated both times on appeal, after I was able to explain what I'm doing. However, it's not always guaranteed that you can appeal or even be able to communicate with someone to explain. When you've spent so long building something, it's terrifying thinking you could lose your livelihood and something so rewarding, just by trying to give your audience exactly what you know so many of them want and regularly ask for.
@@MindAmend Thanks for this great explanation! I'm usually annoyed by the visuals but now I completely understand WHY they're there. Seeing them won't bother me so much now.
So happy I found this! White noise is so aggressive & the other brown noise videos are just harsh enough that at a volume loud enough to drown out noise it just keeps you up. “Smoothed” brown noise is a perfect name! My new go-to for my son and me!!
this is for sure the best of the Brownian noise on youtube i have experienced, that gental rumble, no distracting static. it's the sound of the blood rushing in my ears when my earmuffs are on
After listening to this track for just 10 minutes, the headache that I had all morning just went away. All your other music are amazing as well. The cat and gorilla are my top favourites. I was able to get through tasks, that would normally take me 2-3 weeks, in only a couple of days. It was life changing! Yesterday, I bought a pair of headphones for the first time in my life just to listen to your tracks. Thank you so much!
Just moved to a new place and it’s 3:30am. I woke up and hear a high pitch sharp noise coming from the fridge and my mind is alert. This really calmed me and I’m no longer stressed or overthinking. Thank you ❤
I have tinnitus and I have been trying to tell people what the noise sounds like 24/7 & this noise just blend's in. It can't help me sleep but it definitely helped me especially when I played the noise & got diagnosed. Thank you
Interesting. The sound of my tinnitus is masked by this. What I hear (the tinnitus sound) is nothing like this. Mine's 8000hz or above. What a relaxing tinnitus sound you have 😅
Just found this and my heart slowed down, breathing regulated, adrenals calmed. I never heard of brown noise, cannot sleep without earbuds and audiobook now for years just to stop my mind racing, wake often and for significant periods of time. Thanks you.
Ok, I must say.. I stumbled upon this video a week or so ago, and it immediately resonated with me. I've been feeling a bit more anxious these last few days and this is the second time I listen to it for anxiety-related reasons. It only takes a few minutes to bring me back in touch with reality, and the tightness is my chest is gone. This helps me tremendously, thank you so much!
This sound reminds me of a long flight to a beautiful place and you just woke up in the morning, everything is silent and you open up the tiny plane window and you see the amazing landscape and the wonderful view over everything. The sound throws me back to some nice journeys of my life. Thank you Jason :)
You’re an artist. Reading through the other comments, I agree with them all. I travel many days a week and speak in different cities. This has helped me get the restful, restorative sleep I need by balancing out the different noises in each different hotel environment. God bless you.
I suffer from the worst hbp, panic disorder, and anxiety. Never, ever thought something like this could help. It's not anxiety medicine but man, it was like I was 40,000 ft in the air, snoozing on a plane. Wonderful
I live on a very busy road, cars and busses and bikes going down it all day long, and the noise drives me crazy. This has helped drown out the sound for the last year. It is amazing - thank you.
I sincerely hope that everyone here in the comment section find everlasting peace and the self love you all deserve. I’ve gone through a lot of comments and they are very inspiring. On a side note, I was at the peak of my morning anxiety today & I always struggle to get up in time because of it, when suddenly it magically went away when I started listening to this. Very strange. It calmed me down immediately. I got up from bed and got ready for work with ease and calm. I also suffer from ADHD and clinical bipolar depression and it’s gotten me into a suppressing choke hold for years. It’s very hard. I cry out of nowhere a lot for whatever reason so listening to this def helps. I wish everyone the best of the best. We all deserve serenity. Thank you for this video.
I haven’t slept through the night in years! I'm also in menopause so not sleeping well at all. I've tried sound machines with nature sounds, etc. White noise is just too loud for me. I read about brown noise, never heard of it before, so I tried a few other videos before I came across this one. I slept the night the first time I used it! I woke up in shock! It works! Amazing!
I use this to sleep. I don’t know what happened but in the last week all of a sudden there’s a commercial right in the middle. It jars me awake in the middle of the night. Such a shame I love this version of Brown Noise. It really helped me sleep.
I just found this video after watching a video on dealing with ADD. I've been struggling with sleep. Took a long shower and put this on last night. My sleep was sooooo deep! Wow. Thanks
brown noise ive realized works best for me. White noise is way to loud and static whereas brown noise is deep and kinda muffled. it helps me focus a lot better
Yo this is so weird, usually I have like 5, songs stuck in my head, intrusive thoughts, random thoughts, and so much more blocking my actually productive brain, but listening to this gets rid of all of that thank u so much
Like many other people here I suffer from severe anxiety, severe processing issues, autism etc. and white noise is too harsh, too invasive. The only way I can describe it is it’s the noise that represents nightmares and being stuck in a bad place in your head. Listening to brown noise is the only time I actually relax, but even then my brain will suddenly and randomly misinterpret the noise to mean a threat, and suddenly I’m having a panic attack (ironic) because my brain has paired this noise to being busy and stuck in my own chaotic thoughts. Long post I know, but I hope at least one other person can relate ❤
I like that this one is mixed quieter, so you can increase the volume without clipping/distortion. It’s the little things.
I don’t understand how volume distorts or what clipping is. I’m a newbie to this white/brown/green etc. noise. I am looking for tinnitus masking.

I am a Misophonia sufferer and this is doing an amazing job of blocking out neighbour stomping sounds and dogs barking in the neighbourhood. It really is a miracle, thank you so much.
Exactly the same situation here, dogs in the neighbourhood and misophonia.
Misophonia is no joke.
I wear my noise cancelling headphones most of the time because I can't bear to hear neighbors talking.
Nothing works for me sadly. I can turn on Beatles full volume on noise cancelling headphones in my room with the door closed and still pick out a family member chewing in the kitchen 30 feet away. But I do come back to this sound every now and then anyway.
I has misophonia from head injury. I’ve been looking for something to help, I think I found it😊
All of your music helps me work and focus, but nothing is quite as hardcore effective as this brown noise video. This settles my ADHD brain and allows me to think so clearly and sink into my hyperfocus mode. Thank you!
Thanks Adrienne! I’m pleased to hear how helpful you find this. 😊
😅
I have ADHD and I can't believe it it's like silence in my head. I think that is why I love rain so much because of the sound. I can instant concentrate better and focus on reading books or learn something.
ADHD and severe tinnitus. I wear a nightime headband that has flat earbuds and I cover my eyes with it. This channel has been the game changer. Thank you for this! I am now sleeping 7-8 hours instead of 4! 😀
Thanks for sharing your feedback Jennifer, much appreciated. I was very pleased to read how much your sleep has improved.
oooo I'll have to find one of those headbands!
what's the product?
Yesterday I thought this is what I need and today I saw your comment. Where can I find that headband? 🥹
@@user-sv6uc9ye8l The headband is called SleepPhones - www.MindAmend.com/SleepPhones.
This is the best brown noise on the internet in my opinion. Great blend of deep and smooth noise and the tone is perfect! I get such a great night's sleep and dampens all the other sounds around you. Thank you for posting this! I sleep so well! 😴
Thank you Alex, that’s very much appreciated. 😊
Thank you. ❤
Best wishes to you Lea. I hope you get used to your new town soon and that things start to fall into place soon

Thanks Brenda, I’m pleased you found this helpful. 😊
I'm a teacher and I play this during work time and students don't hear it, but it clams them down and keeps them on track. Thank you!

This is exactly the sound you hear when hiking in the deep woods and there is a large waterfall in the distance.

Think about seeing a Functional Medicine Doctor for a gut health study. I wish you well on the journey.
Ok
Thank you for creating and publishing this video. It always works more or less depending on my ability to let go of shit.
The visuals are a nice addition some nights. Others it’s got to be pitch black. I am rambling so my surrender is starting. Thank you again….

You can purchase a 1-hour version for $1.50 and just play it on repeat.
I've recently been "diagnosed" with tinnitus and moderate anxiety. I'm honestly still in my early stages of coping , especially at night, but the way these brown noises give me relaxation is amazing.
That is what is most soothing to me... a natural gas heating system blowing warm air through ducts. This almost perfectly recreates that sound.

My comprehension level skyrockets every time I put this on in the background. It feels like a massage for my brain, I can't explain the relief.

Get a load of orange in your veins. Oohhh boy.
There's also pink, red, violet, blue, and I think orange. Brown's definitely my fave!
A plane, yes. The higher pitched woosh is the air vent and the lows are the engines. This helps my ADHD brain have a cocktail and enjoy the flight.

This is the best brown noise I’ve ever heard! Love how deep it is! Like a rushing waterfall meets a fan. However, I wish it was a black screen so I could run this all night long 😔
That bothers me too but I just turn the phone over and the light won’t be visible then 😊

Totally appreciated the ad that played at the halfway point and woke me and my toddler up. Really top notch 👍🏼
Playing this and "smoothed brown noise 8-hours" at the same time in 2 different browser tabs. Both are great on their own. Together, it's heaven.
Just finished the first 12 hours, restarted immediately. It helps me so much to focus while studying
I know what you mean buddy.
