5 years ago in my town, a guy killed a cop cause he didn’t want to catch a gun charge. 5 years later he’d be a free man and the cop would still be alive. But instead he’s sitting on death row smh

I remember when this happened, There's a plaque on the ground/sidewalk on the very spot where they were murdered. It's in-between Dwight and the fire station.
It’s so stupid. He shoots them because he knows he’ll go to prison for having a loaded pistol on him. So because he didn’t want to go up prison he kills them. Then turns himself in and now going to prison for much much longer than he would have went with a weapons charge while being on probation.

It really is horrendous what some people will do. I’m very much so an eye for an eye person. I would never want any family members to be a police officer. Recently in Minnesota our police have been ambushed and killed. And a few months ago a crazy man that was holding up in his house. Two Police officers and a Medic were shot out the window from this morons house. All three murdered. Then the ass kill’s himself. So there’s no justice there for the families. Minnesota has been bad in the past year for officers. Maybe we need to go back to the old west days. Vigilante. Not that the police are inadequate at all because they’re not. Just maybe they need a little help. 😁

Yo Lamont, my neighbor is from lime hood piru in east Compton, he always talks about some incident where a famous martial artist son was walking back from Compton airport and got smoked, he says it was big news at time and he seems to think it was Chuck Norris son, but I did research and nothing comes up about Norris so I'm believing he's mistaken , but from what he said it was accacia block crips who were responsible, he keeps saying white guy walking back from Compton airport thinking it's safe found out, I can't find nothing about it but I def believe him

Especially in places like Compton California!! I used to work there, believe me, I know. I was on jury duty there and there was a shooting right in front of the court house and I saw the victim bleeding out as I exited the building!!!

In 1978 I was held captive at gunpoint in a grocery store freezer for two hours, that's was scary, and at the same time I almost froze to death. Now at age 70 I just stay home, never go to restaurants or the movie theaters. I worked as a bread delivery salesman in the "Hood". and was in street fights all the time. Thank God I drastically won every fight with a knockout!! 6'3' and two hundred and thirty pounds was a big advantage!!

It's heartbreaking what happened to those officers so sad but I have mixed feelings about the death penalty and life in prison I do believe in a life for a life that what the perpetrator did to the victim (s) he should have the same done to him but at the same time I think death is too easy what justice do they get out of it? life without parole is the worst so he sits there everyday for the rest of his life and thinks about what he did and let that haunt him for the rest of his life.
