Atkal tas ar savu lieluma māniju =] Es šitajā sarēcos. Man kaut kā likās, ka Gustavs Ādolfs bija puslīdz sakarīgs puika, priekš zviedra. Kungs augstais, heh."
Heck yeah! Anything related to the Jagiellonians and/or the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth gets an automatic like from me (unless it's terrible or something). This video is additionally clearly well researched (sources in the description and all) and it is about a specific topic I'm less knowledgeable about.😀 You have a new subscriber and I'll be sure to check out the other parts.
Im prity sure it wasnt many latvieši which where pagan, but rather a majority. Imagine being ordered to adopt a poltical ideolagy when its only explained to you in latin and german, 2 languages you dont speak, replace ideolagy with religion and that was the situation of our ancestors. When ordered to go to chuch they would just sit and understand nothing instead comming up with riddles like - Whats a boiling pot a top a pillar? A priest - cos nobody has any idea what hes yapping about.
Oh Ive heard a lot of this story. It was taught to me in school, and Ive learned much about my fatherlands history on my own as well.

Nice to see you back, moose 😏😏😏
delightful 😁
Also by the end of Livonia the ethnogenisis of the lativešu nation was complete, there are no proto latvieši here, just medival latieši.
3:21 it's interesting to hear the proto-latvian word Koknese germanised and then pronaunced in English
yeah the pronunciations were difficult for me to say and remember so I definitely screwed them up every once in a while, sorry about that
Theres no such thing as proto latvian. You mean medival middle baltic.
And I find the english inability to say r to be pathetic.
🤩🤩🏆🌟👍
