They're iconic for different reasons but still I think it's cool the owners let them lap in anger rather than sit in a show room. Both will be repaired, both will still be able to get back out on track where they belong.

@@LaugenEcke nah I mean look at how everything just came off the Benetton. I think they have to do some modifications like limit HP because F1 would just dominate
So they crashed on what was basically a straight. Camera car made a mistake at the previous corner and then drifted across to the right hand side of the track on the straight. Benetton didn't make a mistake and had a better run at him (it is a race and he went to overtake). Camera car driver didn't look in his mirrors at all and had no idea the Benetton wasn't just catching him but was 75% alongside! Camera car turned left to make the apex on the light kink, forcing the Benetton onto the kerb and the grass. Camera car at fault, for having absolutely no spacial awareness, and chopping the nose off the Benetton.
Anyone who has any racing experience knows the driver in front has the racing line and it is down to the driver behind to avoid him how can u look behind u or to the side when ur doing 160 mph if the guy hadn't tried to overtake him they would of crashed why would u chose to aim for a gap that small at that sort of speed it is always going to go wrong
Keep Rollingt Garbage, I know this because I have raced for 25 years. When you're in the middle of the track and on basically a straight, you should look in your mirrors and have basic spacial awareness to see a car overtaking you. In racing if you're on the inside and more than 25% alongside then you have earnt yourself room. The Benettons front wing was level with the camera cars front wheel, so 80% alongside, yet the shit driver had no fucking clue! It wasn't malicious, it was an error, by the camera car
so u don't see max verstappen moving in front f people overtaking him on straights in f1 every week? u r the only one talking garbage my friend if u r in front u have racing line simple otherwise he would be penalised wouldn't he
The lead car was in front, he has the right to the racing line REGARDLESS of his pace. How anyone can say this his his fault I cannot understand. If you have over speed on the car in front of you you do not attempt to go as tight as possible, there is a very long run up to ascari and plenty of space off the racing line. Fault lies on the car behind
Incorrect, a car which is even partially alongside has the right to racing room. The problem was not malice, it was incompetence, the camera car had no idea he was even there. These are direct quotes from the F1 sporting rules: 1) If two cars have any parts alongside one another, each driver must respect the space occupied by the other car. It does not matter who is ahead, nor how far they are ahead, they may not initiate a move into the other car 2) Any driver defending his position on a straight, and before any braking area, may use the full width of the track during his first move, provided no significant portion of the car attempting to pass is alongside his. For the avoidance of doubt, if any part of the front wing of the car attempting to pass is alongside the rear wheel of the car in front this will be deemed to be a 'significant portion'. This isn't new, this has been around since I started racing 25 years ago, it's important to learn these skills and perfect them in slower cars, then build up to faster if/when you are skilled enough. This is so you don't end up owning a very expensive car, and destroying it or a competitors car by not noticing them. The Benetton was not making a last ditch move in a braking zone, closing in at high speed, it must have been overtaking for a significant amount of time, after the camera car moved to the middle of the track and opened the door, before unknowigly slamming it shut.
@@goodshipkaraboudjan Motorsport has universal rules for overtaking, go karts to F1 is the same. The guy driving this car at Monza was getting on the power way past the apex. I'm not pointing the finger at who's at fault. Just stating how poor his pace looked.
+chams louati totally is his fault. He completely missed the apex on the previous corner and is not on the racing line. The Bennetton obviously took the corner as you should and had much more speed as a result. Why the fuck was this dick driving so off line? That would be the over taking line, so the Bennetton had no where to go but the grass
There wasnt enough space to overtake on either side, why the guy on the Benetton decided to have a go right there is beyond me, specially when there is a little bend to the left on that straight.
