The reusing of the Americas Cup facilities to form the paddock and a former Fish Market building being used as the pit building and podium location, plus the fact that near the swing Bridge, it had miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches
Interesting to have Indianapolis in the thumbnail but not in the list? And it should come back, as the grounds for the track have been updated and it's central US location and of course, racing history, make it an ideal spot for the sport. @@jakemorganGP the part which was built fot the GP is completely deserted. When i was there 2022 i drove on the abandoned part with a bike. Was super fun.
I wouldn't mind if the calendar would only consist of Melbourne, Monza, Monaco, Spa, Silverstone, Old hockenheim, Old nurburgring, Magny Cours, Brazil and Suzuka.
Make the historic Monaco Grand Prix event into a Historic Formula One World Championship
You could never have a race at the old 14 mile Nurburgring. Lauda and other drivers didn’t want to race there in ‘76 because there weren’t enough marshals to properly manage it. It’s just really hard to run a GP on a circuit of that length, especially when most of the spectators out in the country got in for free.
Add Austria, Hungary and Montreal
I'm sorry but I can't get over how much this guy looks like Enzo Fitipaldi
haha - you're not the first person to say that lol. If this channel takes off, I'm gonna have to meet him some time for a video 😆
@@jakemorganGP I mean it as nothing but a compliment! He's one of my favourite F2 drivers, I hope that happens some day
There’s only one way to do that. Grow the channel/community! Tell a friend who likes F1. Word of mouth is so powerful
@@jakemorganGP oh definitely!
Who? Emmerson Ferrari???
Harsh on Riems as you didn't even mention the fact you can still visit the grandstands and pit area today.
Tracks like Charade, Rouen and the old Spa track are NOT street circuits, they are public road circuits.
Bro sounds like my legal team 😂 jk. Fair point
@8:43 - "TIRE STOLEN FROM MOVING CAR IN DALLAS"
Headline checks out.
I'd like Adelaide back. Bookend the season with two Aussie bangers.
10:09 wtf are you serious rn I’m gonna find you 😂, nah seriously Reims gueux was one off the coolest and beautiful race track back in the days the fast corners of the track make it special and now the remaining part of the track are renovated by an association of fan and if you visit the track one day you can understand why it’s special like the atmosphere is unbelievable one of my favorite race track
There was a street circuit in Cuba as well, it was through Havana and was won by Fangio
Great track. I’ve got a part 2 list but it’s not definitive and if it’s still popular I’ll do a part 3 with fan entries for the videos
I'm from Valencia and the only thing the circuit did was wasting public money. But hey, my friends and I used to grab our bikes, get in after it was abandoned and race there, so not that bad
If The Circuit de Charade is Bowsers Castle, then AVUS is surely Luigi Circuit from Double Dash
13:20 AVUS (Auto Versuchs- und Übungsstrecke = Car Test and Exercise Track) was and is today just a German Autobahn (A115 to be exact).
imagine avus was a track now and you didnt have drs on the straight 💀💀
Chaos
For the pronunciation of Reims-Gueux you can just say "rains (like in Romain [Grosjean] but without the "main" and with the "s" at the end) ge (like in haagen-daas... but without the "haa" "n-daas")
Lol. Thanks
I want Sochi becouse in f1 2020 i was playing it often
Niiice
It's a real shame that F1 never got to race in Hanoi, would have been interesting to see how it raced.
1000%
My appreciation of most of those street tracks : 🤢🤮
Their ONLY advantage is that they are very accessible for the spectators as they are IN a city.
frrr - I made a video on this about street tracks - let me know your thoughts on the points I raised for and against street tracks
For me Valencia is my favorite track, and I think I am the only one who does. As the 2012 Valencian gp was my first ever race I watch
One of my favorite tracks that never happened is the New Jersey track... It was like the monaco of the US
Haha wow that’s crazy
@@jakemorganGP I mean not the venue but the layout
Yeah that could be a future video topic - tracks that never came to be in F1. Will see if it makes sense 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Isnt Korea also abandoned? That circuit was amazing imo
Sort of. Stay tuned for part two 😉
You should watch best overtake of 2010. It was in Valencia done by Kubica
Valencia wasn't that bad. The 2012 race was awesome and had the best podium ever in F1
You should’ve done Igora Drive which was meant to replace Sochi by 2023
Also, Its said that Mercedes and Auto union reached 400 km/h at Avus in the 1930s with their streamliners.
Love Valencia due to the thrill I had watching Barrichello win on 2009
AVUS with current cars would be a blast.
Avus would be a cool thing. I live a few minutes away
Drive Reims in a period race car and you'll change your tune. It has great flow.
I may have to do this... been tempted to do some sim videos lately as well tbf...
I am surprised Bremgarten wasn't in there
another fact it was originally planned for Avus to have 2 banked corners but thanks to WW2 it was never finished
You can actually race old f1 cars in the southern part of de charade
That’s crazy! I didn’t know that lol
I was really looking forward to seeing the Vietnamese grand prix
nice video👏
How could you not mention the fact that Valencia had four abysmal races and then one race which was one of the best of all time 😂😂
Lol. I totally get what you mean buttttt… Miami had one good race. Doesn’t make Miami a good track. So that is my perspective on Valencia as well
@@jakemorganGP and I absolutely agree bud! Sochi was the same as that
Malaysia Track and uncertain weather in Malaysia would be best comeback ever.
Agree with you, the track in Sochi was not that bad
God i wish the Buddh Circuit wasn't created in India. Such a good track wasted over some mismanagement and one of the most dirtiest places in the world.
Lando refusing the switch tyres will never be unfunny, till now he still doesnt learn
I miss Malaysia! :(
Same :(
What so good about street tracks? The fact that the owners pay a lot of money to let F1 race there.
I absolutely loved Valencia
8:30 38 degree Celsius? rookie number I go outside everyday and it’s 45-50
Only Kyalami must be back. Nothing else. Bring it back to a historical track.
