Seeing the Benetton rear end tumbling along the road brings all kinds of horrific spending. Plenty of spares for a champcar, i bet he got that back in shape pretty quickly.
It's a thing of beauty seeing both of these amazing cars on track but this is the risk. They're iconic for different reasons but still I think it's cool the owners let them lap in anger rather than sit in a show room. Both will be repaired, both will still be able to get back out on track where they belong.
The DP01 is a quicker car, the tune makes everything. Lots of drivers of cars from all series will run a lower power tune to get more life out of the engine.
all the idio** in the comments writing "camera car".... dude if your not able to use auto-correction correctly then dont use it... also why did the driver in the champcar got mad? was clearly his own fault.
Imagine when you get hit from behind on a straight at Monza and while you're spinning around you see that you just got hit by a 1997 Benetton, a car worth hundreds of thousands. Haha.
This is what happens when people with to much money and to less skill are racing. I mean seriously I love to see this cars on track and they definitly belong theire and not in a museum or a private garage but this serie is just dumb. Drive this cars on track days, or drive some showruns but don't race them. Look at the result...
0.35: Unglaublich...
Boss Gp and similar categories are just circuses for fuckin' idiots with money to waste for feel the sensation to be F1 or IndyCar drivers. I only can see men without driving' basics
Pause at 0:35 and you can clearly see the Benetton driver was off the track, was never a gap to begin with so why try and pass? Benetton driver at fault. He went on the grass/kerb, lost control and then hit the car we were riding with.
And why was the benetton on the grass at 0:35? Because the camera car pushed him there, you have a video showing him doing it! Forcing another driver off track, one of the simpler rules of motorsport to grasp Camera car left him room at 0:31 and still at 0:32, and 0:33, and 0:34, then at 0:35, haha! move of the century, watch this! as you get alongside me, left turn!
@@chumleyk LOL, you idiot, get your facts straight! That ChampCar is actually equaly fast or faster than the 1997 F1 Benetton. Jean Alesi qualified that F1 Benetton in Montreal in 1997 with a lap time of: 1:18.899 The ChampCar's pole lap in 2002 (with a slower Lola) was 1:18.959 (the track had been resurfaced for that year though). This particular Panoz from the 2007 that we're talking didn't race at Montreal, but we know those cars were faster than the 2002 Lola's by an average of 0.7s. So yeah, those cars were basically equally fast.
What an idiot. The following car had no chance of making a pass. He put himself on the grass, lost control and collected the champ car as a result. I would send this guy the bill.
Level of Wealth: "I just crashed MY Benetton F1 car"
These old champ/cart cars are so damn cool and sound so good…
F1 car was in the grass trying to pass
I’ve only ever seen the B197 have a bad day at Monza in these kinds of classic Formula events

What have they done to the Benetton? Why did everything just come off like that?
Considering how expensive parts are for these cars, That crash likely ended their racing careers
They are billionaires so I don't think it will ended their career
Guy drives tragically and doesn't look in his mirrors
Benetton drivers fault

1:22 "Asshole" ?
they can be rebuilt. dont worry
That ChampCar Panoz was eating those F2 cars like candy.
So what happen after crash? Where to get parts for rebuild? 🤔
The champ/indy cars are always holding up the F1 cars in Boss.

Marijn van Kalmthout op zijn best.
He just missed the 2nd Lesmo corner but he never paid attention to the mirrors. Amateur. The benetton was along side for a long time
Last time I saw someone trash a Benneton like that, it was Giancarlo at Spa 1998....
What kind of shit attempt was that?!?!

Is this the historic 97 Benetton in which Berger won his last race in Germany ? Wow it is like going to the Louvre and smashing the Mona Lisa :D
He took Lesmo 2 really bad (clearly seen on the other video from the benetton) and didn't watch the mirrors. Amateur. Clearly his fault
Wow, i was not expecting that!
He- just- HE JUST KILLED A BENETTON
wow that f1 car is destoyed
Maimed noob on board

Why was the camera car just sat in the middle. And the way the Benetoon was torn to shreds 😬
Didn’t trouble the apex at the second lesmo

Die Fahrer in der Boss GP sind auch einfach nur schlecht. Wären die Autos nicht so geil würde sich kein Schwein dafür interessieren.
View this from the benneton car and maybe you'll change your opinion : ruclips.net/video/dQTTMvXwuFQ/видео.html
Options, restart race. Btw nice graphics.
ruclips.net/video/dQTTMvXwuFQ/видео.html Watch this from Benetton driver's perspective. Clearly the black car's fault - not Benettons.
100% Benetton fault

1:41 "Dio che botta!!" XD
i have question, if you have an old F1 car like this Benetton and race it and if you crash it, where would you get the parts for it?
Buy the other B197, Berger's car.
Little bit expensive hahaha xDD
You’d get it restored with new carbon fiber but you put the old wrap on it
the other one is owned by a guy in The us and vintage races it so theres not a chance they buy the other one
@@Tanketa81 well BOSS GP is a racing series for majority rich old men with f1 cars so they can afford it
I believe it will be almost impossible to find spare parts
For sure he wanted to kill the other guy who thought he was a F1 Professional
Camera car at fault. Camera driver took a poor line on the previous corner and had a lot less speed but did not yeild to the faster car.

F1 car desintegrated in a half...
You crashed twice on the same circuit in the same year? Bad luck
not for his fault all the two times ahahaha
The other one was his fault.
@@shadowgaming6660 It's was only his fault in that he was in a champcar racing f1 car that's 15 seconds a lap faster.
