A lot of people dislike the mantle of majesty, but it can be a great way to really burn through legendary resistances
This is true. However, it also then is dependent on how many legendary monsters your DM is putting in front of you. Milage can vary wildly
I've played Whisper Bard up through 14 a few years back. Feel like these two are similar but Whisper is a bit darker bordering on evil. Now I'm about to do a Glamour Bard. Few spells I feel are great that you missed:
1. Tongues -- Look at me I'm the star of the show and you're going to understand me no matter who you are.
2. Aid -- Such a great spell in general and this build makes it even better being able to Aid + Bonus Action Mantle of Inspiration
I agree with these picks. Aid is a very underrated spell in my opinion. Tongues is a great choice on any CHA character
I honestly love the idea of glamour bards as embracing their fey side. I could see a whole pied piper situation, true to their word, ruthless and tricky in their retribution, and viewed with scepticism and superstition. Maybe they like it like this, maybe they loath it. Is their reputation going to carry through into a crowded city far from the realms of the feys power and influence or are they a novelty. Maybe their college is treated as a old wives tale. So many fun tropes to play with.
I think that fey touched is one of the worst feats for a Glamour bard. You can do almost the same by using the glamour bard "Mantle of Inspiration" which allows you, as a bonus action, with your inspiration, use your reaction to move up to your movement without causing reactions. Is it really usefull to use a feat to learn misty step when you can do this? I don't think so. I think telephatic is much better since it allows you to use Detect thoughts once without components (which is huge!) and gives you telepathy, which is great to use spells like suggestion without being spotted.
Fae wanderer 7 order cleric 1 X in bard charm someone and they don't notice that you've charmed them, if they save use your reaction on someone else and charm them, if they save they still don't notice what you've done. With that order cleric dip you can now boss around foe and friend alike. 😂😅
am i being dumb, how do you start with a 19 in charisma?
the music in the background is way too agressive for the pace of your commentary, it is highly distracting and makes it difficult to listen too. just a friendly tip, pick less aggressive music.
