It makes me sick what Joe and you went through at the end of Joes career. As a former military myself, I could nit agree with you more about the state of things in the Military…its not the same military I was in for sure. Thank you both for your time in Service. My fruit trees are in large containers and do very well. I have found the fruit are healthier looking and more sweeter, because the maintenance is easier in containers. Also, I have a solar watering system complete with rain water.

The fact that 1 person can hold up very high ranking military promotions is ridiculous. I never knew Congress had to approve promotions except for the very highest. I think I heard something like 80 people had to wait many months because that one senator wouldn’t approve them. Shame on him.

In order to ice skate on the pond, the pond would have to be kept clear of snow. And we currently have about 3ft of snow…and more coming all winter. Just not realistic to think we can keep all the snow cleared from the pond all winter long.☺️

I respect your honest answer regarding the military. My son enrolled in a military college and fully intended to be an officer and pursue a career after graduating. When the crap hit the fan, he was basically an outcast and a prisoner to his barracks (military college). He became depressed and when he came home for Christmas decided not to return. He only had a year left so we were very concerned. His decision cost him a lot of money, but he is paying it back. He believes he made the right decision for himself and his now wife and family. I never thought my son would change his life plans, but he says it’s not what he signed up for. Fortunately, he wasn’t actually in the military yet, but was in a scholarship. Different from signing on. I truly believe his decision saved his life. He was on a bad mental state.
I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s a travesty what they put these men & women through. I’m so glad your son is home now. Thank you for sharing his story.❤️

I don't like wrapping gift you are making it looks so easy , I just go buys bags make it's easy for me , Yes the Military has changed, I like all the benefits that my husband got , but the government does not take care of the wounded men and women when they come back home. I like going to the Base and shopping back in the day they had great sales but not any more, I like the no tax on what you buy. They did give my husband a flag that flew over the U S Capital for 30 years of service , plus they did give me his headstone . I am afraid of cats they scare me they are very sneaky , one attack my dog when I was very young and it traumatize
Heard you say you are getting a greenhouse, recommend applying to NRCS High Tunnel program. I have a 30x72 paid for thanks to NRCS, you pay up front then they reimburse you. By the way, I wrote you previously about your acquiring same equipment as me, add wood stove to that list and, maybe greenhouse/high tunnel. Lol

I appreciate your view of the US Military not honoring the soldiers the way many of us expect those, who lay their lives down. My Father wanted my siblings & myself to join but the leadership was showing their plans in the 80's. So I refused & impressed upon my siblings not to be apart. Leaning on the Lord.

We do have all 4 season but spring and fall are like 5 days long. February also lasts right about 90 days. 🤷♂️

Lots of people that live in snow climates do this. They plant seeds in a milk container and let them go through a cold process, and in the spring they have new plants. They have a lot of youtube videos on it. You guys are in the perfect climate too.

Tina, I agree with you regarding the military, and marriage 100%. It isn't the same military at all! As for marriage...it wouldn't be a marriage without hard work on both sides of the relationship. Marriage is never 50-50% work, and I would never believe that percentage. Somedays it's 10 - 90%, 80 - 20%, 40-60%. It will always varies!

I grew up with a dad who retired from the military, my husband, nephew, all uncles…military each and every one were in all different services along with being Christians.
