Ejnar said the unnamed battle ship is the Wisconsin. He went on to say the Duncan was mine and sub sweeping out in front of the Wisconsin. The Duncan was the boat that received fuel.
Those sailors were wearing the standard foul weather jacket.The jackets belonged to the ship. Almost all deck division sailors had one.Guys from other divisions often wore them if they could get their hands on one.
The brother of Ejnar’s in the yellow shirt is Clayton not Gilbert! Mom said this is probably SanDiego? I am hopping Ejnar will sound in on these shots. Ejnar is still with us.
