Pony Motor Dependability reinstated! full servicing for reliability! There is nothing antique or old fashion about moving heat with water/Propylene glycol mix. Propylene glycol is used by the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries as an antifreeze when leakage might lead to contact with food.

Thanks August for trying to preserve a piece of American History
Thank You Robert! I think it is safe to say an old bus need constant maintenance and inspection. I want this bus to be problem free for the next owner. This isn’t a guaranty but I have done the maintenance. thank you again.
Hello AugustAlan can you tell me the bus #?
The pd 4501 absolutely the best Bus I had the privilege to drive!
1955 PD 4501-316 is my bus, good to here from you.
I drove for Melni Bus Service Located in Santa Barbara California! When I watched your video you said you wanted to know what the smaller sign was it was there showing Melni Bus Service New Jersey to Melni Bus in California
The bus number on the back. Is that say 4703?
i never noticed the number, i will look
@@augustalan3528 There is absolutely nothing I have ever operated compares to the
The Scienic Cruiser!
Just would like to know what was the bus number?
Man you got your work cut out for you. What engine and does it run yet?
That’s working smarter, not harder!
can someone explain what happened? 😮
An unknown small insect type stacked their entire perish on my selector switch where they met the De-vine light!
I'd say it was Fire Ants 🔥
thanks!
damn
Thank You
If it can go wrong it will 😆
. Tis true tis true!! Thank You for the comment,
thanks
Ejnar said the unnamed battle ship is the Wisconsin. He went on to say the Duncan was mine and sub sweeping out in front of the Wisconsin. The Duncan was the boat that received fuel.
I speak more about the Melni factor in the second half of this video. Melni was true red white and blue. I show the other side in detail
Yes it runs, thank you Pat for asking!
Melni Bus Service was Located in Santa Barbara , California! I used to Drive that bus years ago
Dang bugs!
you spoke well
Mother says the celebrity is actress Elizabeth Scott! After seeing the movie Pit Fall I believe mom is correct, Elizabeth Scott!
The brother of Ejnar’s in the yellow shirt is Clayton not Gilbert! Mom said this is probably SanDiego? I am hopping Ejnar will sound in on these shots. Ejnar is still with us.
Thank You so much Steve for the good info on the uniforms! Very helpful, August
Those sailors were wearing the standard foul weather jacket. The jackets belonged to the ship. Almost all deck division sailors had one.Guys from other divisions often wore them if they could get their hands on one.

Hey buddy! Good to see you.
You too!
Cool bus sir
Thank You!
hello from Jacksons!
Wow, looks like a b-17 bomber
Great analogy, there are similarities
The PTO was on throughout the video. I turned the engine off to demonstrate the overrun clutch that is built into the drive shaft, the other end of the driveshaft next to the gearbox has a slip clutch. The three point lift holds hydraulic pressure very well. Thank you for asking. Good to hear from you!
How are you able to use your hydraulics without the PTO running?

I'm in agreement with keeping the original air conditioning system. It's the way I'd want it and yours looks great! Beautiful old beast! I'd love to ride in one! It's great to see these still around.
Very nice comment, thank you so much!!

It is still cool if the environmental comfort system is working.
Heck yea! Nothing but love here!
Thank You Byron, there is 30+ years of passion in this bus!
I worked for Greyhound from 1962 till 1975. drove many scenics on our runs out of Pittsburgh PA. You are correct about having to double clutch EXCEPT. Down shifting from 4th to 3rd. Pull it from 40rth gear at about 50/51 mph, floor it to 2350, give stick a little push, and it will gently suck into 3rd gear to "keep it wound up".
thank You Ted! That is good to know
I can tell how much you love this bus. Hold out you will find the right new owner. You have a real gem. I've been into buses for 30 years. Currently have six. Good luck and thanks for keeping the ship afloat all these years. As for the nameplate of your ship. I have one of the boat paddles that used to hang on the wall in the Long John Silver restaurant.
Nice, I would like to see the paddle! Thank you for watching, and your comment!!
