Finally, a video of sneaker but not about Jordan or Nike
the king of cool exactly that’s what I liked the most, I kind of like Jordan’s but I love adidas shoes more than Nike
I Love Adidas a lot and I was born in Russia and in Russia you see a lot of Adidas and vans shoes
Yes yes yes
Adidas is German so duh I guess 🤷♂️
One of the best documentary series in the media right now. So engaging, im ready to visit all the places asap.
It’s still the shoes, I’m still flexing!
15:39 Hikmet was holding Puma x Sneaker Freaker Blaze of Glory Black Beast.
16:51 is Puma x Jeff Staple Suede Pigeon in Grey and Pink heel.
love the series and hearing about different countries perspective on shoes. A mix of nostalgia and flexing seems to be the common thread between all of us. One Love.
I watch this video twice. High quality.
Honestly as an old dude I got to give total respect to the German guys who worried about how their shoes look during a soccer fight after a game man. Total respect to that and that's honestly the coolest thing I've seen in a long time in regards to sneaker culture cuz it's real. It's like I'm going to beat the snot out of your ass for soccer or football or whatever they call it but my kicks are going to look good while I'm doing it. 😎. "it was an excellent shoe to fight in.". That's the most real line I've ever heard in a sneaker video. Nowadays you going to have people in their Jordans or Yeezys and stuff going to hold up hold up let me change my shoes then we going to scrap. And yes I was a teenager when Yo MTV Raps! was live.
Now Adidas with Yeezy's and Pharell's,Nike with Airmax and React's, Jordan's with Retro's...but still Puma fighting them of with just a Puma suede!simple, basic and yet still a good looking shoe.and relatively the cheapest amongst them..
I think pumas are ugly af but they are classic
This was epic!!!!! Thank you guys so much ❤️
Finally an episode about Adidas and Puma.
Keep this series going! Love this ❤️
Great video🔥want more like this
This video just made me like adidas superstars and puma Clyde’s and the suedes
Thanks for another great episode in a phenomenal series!
This episode was incredible
I'm so glad to see this ,basically this is my childhood.
European cream i hope you do the same but from other countries and brands like Italia whit diadora and lotto England with Reebok France with le coq sportif Denmark with hummel and Filand with Karhu.
good work yo. loved the episode.
the first time I saw PUMA SUEDE is when I saw for the first time one video of my most favorite band koRn wearing that shoes and I immediately like those shoes and now both koRn and PUMA SUEDE are my no.1 favorite things on my list!!
I bought few years ago 2 Adidas Classic, Stansmith & Superstar ~ the worlds very best sneakers!
I can definitely identify with the East Berlin taste in athletic silhouettes. I think it’s from coming up in the hardcore scene here in Brisbane. Punks like to pretend we’re above fashion/trends but the sneaker culture in hardcore music is undeniable IMO. I’d love to see it represented a little more tbh.
2:35 SHE JUST SKIP PAST THE JORDANS 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When are you going to show ep 5? I really like these segments..
This needs to be updated
great Video, but they got one thing wrong Adidas sneakers were a status symbol in east Germany too. If a person had family in west Germany they could send things to east Germany, that you couldn't get in east Germany. Thats why some people had Adidas sneakers even in east Germany. Of course were Adidas sneaker in east Germany the coolest shoes you could get.
Team Adidas
Trap god 88 this aint the place for that, we could careless about Uncomfortable nikes
Stripes over check, nike is uncomfortable af
I hope they do episodes for new balance and reebok too
Welty gotta be lovin this episode
epic shots and transitions! good job to the video editing team on this!
Honestly didn’t know adidas was supposed to be pronounced like that until now
what minute is this on? did not catch it
As a German it sounds so weird how Americans pronounce Adidas. But that for we also pronounce Nike different than Americans.
bean 3:37
ok, but that is just a complete different accent, therefore their pronunciation goes into another dimension..
Now I kinda want to rock a pair of AdeeDhas.
bean ye man get some classics like Stan smiths
Awesome educational video!
Спасибо огромное, очень интересный материал!)
Amazing!!!
Please do one about Scandinavia! Even though I'm not sure if it's interesting :D
Fire video 🔥💪

@1:15 that low top Ewing Rivalry omg!
That last statement facts as fuck💯
Man those Forums and Ewing conductor low..
do someone knows what model is the guy wearing in 13:29 ?
I have two pairs of adidas and I didn't really like them because I have a narrow feet and adidas shoes tend to be bulky. I prefer puma to adidas but now I shop for Nike only (Converse too)
Thank you for branching out of nike
some German brands could made culture in U.S,
but one U.S brands had to paid something to made a culture on their own country, thanks to MJ who left adidas, and made nike grown.
I want a sole origins for bapestas
I know I'm not allowed to say this but I love both adidas and puma.
It's kind of a shame that Karl Lashnikov aka Master of Air didn't make it in this Germeny episode
i legit just Bought Red PUMA'S (suede) yesterday30$ to match a outfit100
I see superstars, i click like.
Can't really talk about Germany without mentioning the 'feud' between some of the biggest brands in sportswear and sneaker culture like adidas and PUMA. After all, these companies have a shared past, having been founded by the brothers Adolf 'Adi' Dassler and Rudolf Dassler. No idea why PUMA wasn't called rudidas ahahah :)
P.S. The undeground life in Berlin is amazing and this was a really well put documentary.
Overkill fucking rules, best sneaker shop in Berlin.
Interesting
Team 3 Stripes!!
Hikmet ist und bleibt der g.o.a.t
11:50 medium and underdress to you wall of prioritys Zet of themes Kaligraficoz.
Speaking about German sneakers: please recognize LUNGE shoes. In contrast to Adidas and Puma, they are really made in Germany. Furthermore: Brütting a veeeerrrry old school company. And as you are reporting on the German reunification: there is a shoe brand called Zeha. They produce retro shoes in the original or slightly altered design with which the GDR (east socialist Germany)won their inumerous gold medals with.
Most slept on rapper (ysn trapp-stunna4vegasflow)
What kind of adidas are those at 1:45?
I want to know too! Have you found out already?
Got it: adidas zx 8000 aqua, but I believe you will be disappointed with the actual color of the shoe. It looks way better in the video
@@johnnyesteves Appreciate it.
I love these
I did not know that Adidas and Puma were created by Brothers
Kann mir jemand sagen, wo die besten Thriftshops in Berlin sind?
9:40 Are those Freddy Krueger SB Dunks? I thought Nike literally burned them all? In fact the only pair I've ever seen had diesel fuel all over them.
Gold Kaligraficoz.
I love sports shoes
Germany OG🤙
Checks over stripes
Stripes over checks
That's what we like

Was adidas more for advertising or puma?
So dope
I was hoping they would talk about KangaROOS
Found it interesting about the shoes for football hooligans 🤣
soonjiek86 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You either own american branded shoes:
Nike, Converse, Vans
Or German branded shoes:
Adiddas, Puma.
Thats it no other country competes at that level.
Oh
Das Schlusswort saß!
Puro pinche fuego del bueno
Matt welty must be creaming his pants with this adidas
2:18 what is that shop please?
I think it´s Paul´s Boutique. instagram.com/paulsboutiqueberlin/?hl=de
what are those shoes he is wearing at 4:10??
Not trying to find out myself. They are banggin'
Love puma, my first sneakers was a pair of puma basketball shoes high cut. And thru the years, i only bought 3 pairs of puma and dozs of nikes, adidas. In fact i own more saucony and hokas than pumas. Sad coz puma is a vintage brand and should be up there with the very best. If only puma could hire better shoe designers coz honestly puma shoes are ugly. Yeah this may anger some puma fans but really i dont understand puma designs. Its not sleek, colors are weird, not much tech in it. Recently they had ignite but they could take advantage of that tech, they instead came up with shoes with ignite midsole but fits horribly. I couldnt get myself even to buy a pair during a sale event which offered 60% off. Its just killing my feet
Awesome 👏🏽 love adidas but those double JJ shoes are so trash why didn’t someone let him know.
i gave up nike shoes for adidas for the last 5 years or so, adidas just better pricing better models.
L
I agree, I find Adidas very narrow fitting but the price, craftmanship and quality is there. The amount of times ive returned Nikes becuase off excess glue marks and yellowing is ridiculous, their quality control now is terrible and theyre so expensive!
Its all about VANS
Cool to learn the history but I ain’t never rockin any of these brands
You never gonna rock Adidas
Schnitzel.
Schnitzel is from Austria 🇦🇹

Why do Germans mispronounce Adidas as soon as they start speaking English ? Stop it !!
Amen
Some Germans are so eager to speak English they even change their pronunciation.
WIMBLEDON
Fenty.
*_CREEPER_*
liked the video but didn't liked the fact that they don't talk at all about the start / culture of nike
Nike and Berlin have nothing to do with each other
Nike? Germany? Are you serious?
SWOOSH LIFE!

shit. first time ever. best shoe to fight
I would love to see Complex does a video about Onitsuka Tiger/Asics history!
damieN definitely
I cant wait to see all the thumbs down votes and butthurt snowflake comments when they learn Phil Knight stole the design to the Cortez from Onitsuka Tiger.
I'm a huge sneakerhead, and I refuse to wear the Nike Cortez...nothing but Onitsuka for me! Same goes with Converse. Everyone and their mother has Chuck's...one of the best selling shoes of all time...but give me a clean pair of Purcell's anyday! Heck, I still rock Troops!
If you read the autobiography of Phil Knight, you'd know he and Bill Bowerman designed the Cortez under the tiger brand. They own the design. Not to mention onitsuka tried to cut Phil off after expanding the tiger shoe business in the states.
Yes
