now that you pointed it out, it's obvious that the passenger's side window is a little high. Whoever put this together first does worse bodywork than me... lol
That's the scary part having these classic cars in his body shops you never know what's going to happen great job of bringing out one back I'm sure it must have been in pain great video look forward to seeing more.
when you work on a car like the Nomad, do you document what was done for future restorers? I know that I would appreciate it knowing what was done before I dig into it.
Love these EOD vids. Outstanding craftsmanship on the Nomad, no it’s not concours but your work looks fantastic and saved the owner huge money. Stay safe 👍
I love good stories behind the cars and that Chevelle certainly has one. Thanks for sharing that one, Lucky, much appreciated. Hopefully you have more of that sort of thing to share in the future. -Ed on the Ridge
Just asking if you know anybody makes Coil overs for a c4 Paul Newman chassis underneath my 57 Chevy I want to raise it up a couple inches tires Rock like crazy in the front when I go up and out of driveways. Thanks look forward to more videos
I need new rear quarters on my 56 Pontiac Safari.. ( I need new everything, its currently on a rotisserie because it looks like i found it at the bottom of the ocean. :).. Good to know about that rear glass.. I've been trying to wrap my head around an attack plan.... the project is stalled at the moment because of work and moving houses, hopefully will resume next year.
I would love to do what you do for a living. Only problem, I'm not good at explaining what I'm doing or what I have done already. Building cars for a living has always been a dream of mine, just lack money to do it.
You are living the absolute dream! Sweet cars always rolling through the shop. Surprised you have time after filming hot rod garage to run your own shop.
Lucky, im sure im not telling you anything new here but make sure your job card on that 57 accurately reflects what you have and have not done. I have tried to defunkify other peoples work before only for them to on-sell the recently "reconditioned" vehicle and then had the new owner trying to blame me for the shortcomings. Accurate worksheets saved my bacon several times.
Lucky , long story but I found out the hard way many years ago that "TRI-FIVE" Standard station wagon windshields (and therefore roof height) are around 3/4" taller than sedan windshields , I wonder if it's possible that A :, Nomad has same height roof as sedan ? And 2: (hahaha, Clark Griswald speak) Someone supplied the taller windshield for standard wagon for this Car ? Just some musings from an older , and perhaps even crazier Gearhead than yourself........DC
Can I ask what type of front screen is in your Nomad that allows it to be recut after manufacture. I guess laminated and not toughened glass? Excellent work by the way.
Love the detailed explanation of all of the amazing work on the Nomad! And what more could be said for the 69 Velle? Wow, I'm excited to see that setup too! I love your 66 and the way it is set up with those Americans, discs, engine etc. Lol the first model car I built was the Monogram 66 Malibu Street Rat
I’m waiting for an update of the patina paint correction on the other blue chevelle you were working on. We want to see the finished product! Love your channel! ✌️
Lucky has that demeanor of “I got this” for whatever you need that makes you just want to leave your car with him and not worry
The good ones are like that.

EOD, Thought there might be some explosives in this one.

Never let the Maaco guy do bodywork on your classic car.
I love good stories behind the cars and that Chevelle certainly has one. Thanks for sharing that one,

Yep, "all the go in the world dont mean shit, if you cant stop" LOL What an amazing car / family heirloom.
Lucky. You are a lucky guy with all your toys. The 64 2 Dr wagon is my favorite

If I lived near him no one else would touch my 56 Chevy.

lucky for President
You are a wizard on nomad lucky
Please don't touch the suspension on that 69 Chevelle. There's enough lowered muscle cars running around.
Not lowering it. Just updating it making it safe.
Hey Lucky, whatever happened to the 1st gen white c10? Lake truck?
It got retired to a farm in Germany
Good work on the Nomad...It sounds like a nightmare 😳
No doubt.
Meant to say Rub

Oh lord that 69 Chevelle is my dream car. And all original as well.
Like the 69. My cousin had red 69 black vinyl top SS 396 automatic.
Love the detailed explanation of all of the amazing work on the Nomad!

Thanks for the update Lucky. Keep em coming.
WOW the 69 Chevelle is beautiful, my favorite year for most GM and Ford designs.
Nice job. That's a lot of work. Your the Man Lucky. 🤘😎
Fan to shroud clearance is a science unto it's self. Seen a vid where the optimal distance was several inches back from the shroud.
Sweet rides Lucky, love the Nomad and Chevelle.
Love the content, would love to see you post more of you working.
I thought my 66 C10 would be OBS.
Is the OBS gonna get halogens back in it or LED retrofit?
Almost looks like trucknorris hiding in the back
Thanks for the content keep up the great work sir

Much love from Louisiana 🤟

Personally I blame squirrels
John, to defeat the squirrel, first you must become the squirrel. You have been fighting too long now. You know what must be done.
Hey John. I have problems with squirrels too. My friends and co-workers could tell you a couple of stories
trivial point but the fins on the nomad seem too long....
Yeah they look funny without the trim
