God, there's something in the combination of those smooth, mellow backing guitars and the scratchy chiptune "vocals" and percussion - it's super satisfying. I also love the "reversal" effect towards the middle that you worked in. (I keep coming back to this video/cover and figured I'd leave a comment in appreciation!
