Rey Montano is an American producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. Their pronouns are they/them and she/her. They perform under various pseudonyms, most notably "Infinite Vacation (stylized 'infinite vacation')" and "Miles Ontario (stylized 'miles ontario')."
As Infinite Vacation, they primarily focus on shoegaze and emo music. They have released 2 EPs, 3 full-length albums, and various singles across the span of their career.
Rey was born in Fresno, California, and identifies as non-binary/genderqueer. They are currently in high school and certain accounts are managed primarily by their parents. They produce, write, and record all of their music on their own, and their work has been described as ghostly and lush in quality.
Rey is currently selling merchandise, partially to help save money for college. Their father also has a notable music career in the local blues scene and has made guest appearances on certain tracks in the past.

edit: i changed its status to a bonus track, i decided it doesn't fit with the tone of the album but i still want to make it available to people some way. it's also up on my soundcloud since i was able to just replace the audio with my fancy new soundcloud pro.

It is good, but based on my extensive research, "Real Emo" only consists of the dc Emotional Hardcore scene and the late 90's Screamo scene. What is known by "Midwest Emo" is nothing but Alternative Rock with questionable real emo influence. When people try to argue that bands like My Chemical Romance are not real emo, while saying that Sunny Day Real Estate is, I can't help not to cringe because they are just as fake emo as My Chemical Romance (plus the pretentiousness).
Real emo sounds ENERGETIC, POWERFUL and somewhat HATEFUL. Fake emo is weak, self pity and a failed attempt to direct energy and emotion into music.
Some examples of REAL EMO are Pg 99, Rites of Spring, Cap n Jazz (the only real emo band from the midwest scene) and Loma Prieta.
Some examples of FAKE EMO are American Football, My Chemical Romance and Mineral

@@b1ackjeans Anarchy Drums, but Ugritone has since taken the copy I have down from the internet. You can still nab Riot Drums from their website, which sounds pretty similar, and it's pretty cheap too. Fucking love Ugritone.

You might really like Marietta LP2. I have a rateyourmusic friend who says a lot of newer Midwest emo just strikes her as indie rock too.
I’ll check them out. I only really got into indie rock and midwest emo when I encountered soft sections in skramz songs that were just like both of those genres. So now my taste for indie rock or midwest emo has to sound like a band didn’t have enough funds for studio time to make it sound traditionally “good”. Also helps if the vocalist sounds drunk.

The tuning is FACGCE. I'm not sure what the chords are, but you can probably find them somewhere online. But, personally, I'd recommend learning the riff instead of the chords, because that's what carries the whole song.
