aHMAWgod, that Anthurium hybrid is fantastico. 10' leaves? That one needs a z12 or 13 garden.
The small Alocasia sp. can be used as pond plants in shallow waters in shade. Or,on pedestals in aquariums or indoors ponds. Adds the exotic look.

I'm a brand new (just now) subscriber! Happy New Year! I realize this video is older; but, it's very recent to me! This video was very enjoyable to me! I was away from houseplants for a long, long time and only messed with outdoor plants in my lawn & gardens. I used to be focused solely on succulents; then, my daughter gave me houseplants for my birthday and NOW I'm wonderfully addicted to hoyas and probably always will be. Seriously! I've amassed 30+ different kinds in a few short months! I'm a maniac! 😆 I'm still interested in other houseplants, too; but, hoyas are my first choice. I REALLY like this video and it must REALLY be exciting to be there during that event! Is there a play list/watch list for your videos or no? Specifically, what I'm looking for is: EP 1 or 01 or 001 or whatever format you may have begun with. You're a very good interviewer & reporter and I like your voice. It's truly refreshing to find RUclipsrs who aren't so self-absorbed that their main focus, INSTEAD of plants, seems to be their fake eyelashes, nail color, the outfits they're wearing or the cars they drive! That may be what some subscribers/viewers are interested in; but, I'm not! I take plants seriously and want to learn as much as possible about them! I hope you continue to make these great videos! Thanks for sharing! 🌾💜

Hey guys! Not sure where to go with this question so figured I’d turn to the community here- my indoor string of pearls and burro’s tail are increasingly developing these weird off-white calloused patches along with chunks taken out of leaves- it looks like the plant’s being eaten, but I can’t find any signs of pests! Anyone have any guesses as to what’s going on or how to troubleshoot?

    • @icemancometh8679

You might look at the soil look under the leaves water with rainwater and then at the last ditch effort take a picture of the damage and show it to the nearest plant nursery or Greenhouse they'll tell you what it is.
