WATCH THIS FIRST Before Buying An Electric Boat Motor - Torqeedo vs Parsuns Joy 1.2kw

If you are like me, I watched every electric motor video I could find on RUclips to decide which would be the right one for me. In the end I decided to buy the Parsons Joy 1.2kw engine from a company called Rubber Ducky Doctor. They were great to deal with and after the sale, offered me a lend of the Torpedo which I was also considering so I could do a review. watch to find out how it went.

The thing I found awkward about the parsun was not having an offset handle and having to shift the mount to the port side of the transom to be comfortable in my square backed canoe. Wish they would redesign with an offset for either side.
