- I know it seems simple, but it might be the number one thing that completely changed my photography. It has been said that the best camera is the one you have with you. So, rather than having to buy a super compact camera in hopes of it being "pocketable" as well as having to compromise on image quality or battery life, why not make your favorite camera the one you always have with you? You don't need to lighten your wallet or deal with the bulk of the latest and greatest camera bag, either.
Give this a shot. I promise, it will make a difference.

8:11 having the 5d peaking out is so cute for some reason xD
This is actually a bit of a light-bulb moment for me! I've always struggled with walking around with a camera round my neck, or having it in a backpack and taking 30 seconds to get it out!
Same!
That's what I've been intuitively doing for a decade now: Just toss an RX100 or a 5DC with a small lens like the 40mm 2.8 or the Sony A9 with the Zeiss 35mm F2.8 (very very small lens) in my fanny pack which I wear across my torso like you showed. I've also added some padding inside so everything is nicely secured.
I recently did this as well and it’s a great solution. Managed to fit my Fuji xs10 18mm f2 with a rode mic and vlog when I needed
Need you to explain again how an f2.8 on a full frame provides more light capturing capacity than an f1.7 on a M43 sensor camera. I get that it is a physically similar or more capacious aperture opening.. but the light transmitted is then distributed over a much larger circle of coverage.
I made a video explaining this. I even used compared these two lenses, directly, at the end of the video and showed the results.
I actually where my fanny pack as sling if I'm going to town ...I chuck my point and shoot and wallet and go...I love this one u got I saw these on Amazon..nice review /hack
Funny thing this is my exact setup with street photography setup using Sony rx100
Small sling bag is very famous in indonesia😁
I actually had a lowepro waist bag specifically for cameras and gear. It was great. Would hold my 70d with 2 lenses and batteries etc. I wanted to ask you a question and I hope I'm not being too forward but have you ever seen any Canon 1D bodies for sale where you live? After using and seeing the images from the 5d, apparently the original Canon 1d with the ccd sensor is just head and shoulders above the 5d. I've been on the hunt for a 1D but they don't come up to often like the 1D Mark 2 which has the CMOS sensor. Anyway, just thought you might want to look into a 1d since you love the look of the 5d images. Cheers.
I REALLY want to try the original 1D with the CCD. I saw one for sale very cheap but when I got there it had just sold. I’m absolutely going to get one at some point, though.
@@SkylerKing yeah the 1d is the body I want to try and get but they are hard to find here in Canada. Hopefully you have better luck than me. One thing they do recommend is trying to get the original charger with it, I guess they can be hard to find as well but the 1d mii uses the same one.
This is the best fanny pack Klingon cloaking hack for our cameras,💯
Here in the States we use the fanny pack the same way. I have a fanny pack which was given to me as a gift and it took a while to embrace it. It is now my go to bag instead of a purse.
You’re a smart woman 😉
Cool watch! What is that???
Thank you! It’s a Garmin Tactix 7 Pro
@@SkylerKing Thanks Sir! And great review, by the way ;-)
As a Canadian living in Hong Kong who basically uses a fanny pack everyday: I feel seen
