  • It's Columbo vs Culp... Round 2.
We previously tackled Columbo and Robert Culp locking horns in Death Lends a Hand. Now it's time for Round 2... The Most Crucial Game.
It has Columbo, the always great, Robert Culp and the very young, Valerie Harper and Dean Stockwell.

Columbo viewing party FTW! Yes! And yes Robert Culp is amazing. I wish I could have met every person who was ever on Columbo but he is a high one.

Yes! Another great episode with Robert Culp and a great gotcha! That way that he got ‘em was just so fun and satisfying, especially from the previous episode where it was more of an accident. I do hope you will get to suitable for framing, with one of the most obnoxious bad guys, and one of the fun ways hew caught him. 👍

You guys left out the best part: This episode aired in 1972. In 1979, the actual owner of the Los Angeles Rams, Carroll Rosenbloom, died under mysterious circumstances. ... He drowned. ... His wife inherited ownership of the franchise. This really happened, seven years after The Most Crucial Game.

Yes, this is a good episode. but it does have a lot of holes. Here are just a few: 1) what is the motive. they really never developed one; 2) how did the water on the deck of the pool not dry up; 3) the "gotcha" while seems cool really isn't much. No doubt he would get off as that seems to be the only "evidence" he has against him. A good defense attorney could easily just say the clock's battery died and it wasn't working.BTW the scenes in the stadium of the crowd was from the very 1st Super Bowl.

I wanted to watch this but the two microphones are at completely different levels or one of the mics are off. Impossible to listen to.

      @@TheNerdsofComedyatthePush Ha. Knew it.
But hey, since I got ya, Season 7 episode 1, Try and Catch Me, Ruth Gordon is such a damn delight in the episode. There's a scene she does this little skip, she's a scene stealer for me.
