Nicole, you can place your material anywhere within the 12x12 space. The 3rd button on the right hand side of the screen is the Scan option that scans the mat to show where the material was placed. And then you go into Edit where you can move the image anywhere you want it placed, then you'll go thru the cutting process. It helps when one needs to conserve materials. Oh and you can use Washi Tape around the edges of the material used to hold it down if you don't really like using spray adhesive. Just make sure the tape doesn't interfere with the black marks on the mat.
I’m impressed. I understand from watching you. I didn’t get one. I think I’m too old; 76 to learn something new. My head still swims from buying embroidery ITH and downloading to computer memory stick. Remember when life was simple. Love your videos.
They’re pretty cool machines but I don’t use it in it’s full capacity, there are so many things it does that I don’t know how to do, too. We’re all always learning!
why do people have to be horrible and do the thumb down on you ilove how you explain things just ignore them and anyone wanting to do this think again this poor girl works hard to put this video on here if you dont like it then go away and dont watch dont be horrible to her
I always wonder when I see 👎 as to why also. Sometimes I think people just do it just to do it. Your videos are always wonderful. You’re the one who got me started sewing with cork. Thank you💜
What settings do you use for the scanning cut when you are cutting vinyl? I just cannot get any of my machines to cut appliqué in anyway, and it is so frustrating! … do you have more videos you will be doing about scanning cut or can you point me to a very helpful vinyl cutting scanning cut video please?
Hi, I don’t cut vinyl; I mainly use cork. And this video is so old 😬 I use a laser cutter now. I’m sure there are lots of useful videos here on RUclips if you search it!
If you put all the files onto a USB you can upload them all at the same time I believe! I always use canvas online to send over my files and generally I do them one at a time and save them, then I can assemble them onto one cutting may.
Awesome! They’re fun for sure. I don’t use mind to its fullest capacity at all, I just use it for certain things but given all it can do it provides a lot of room for creativity.
They are the Thumb Downers, they are jealous of those who can do what they cannot do and have nothing better to do but troll and put people that can do down.

It's so weird when people thumbs down a video, I don't understand it! It also makes me laugh tho! Glad you enjoy working with cork :)
SewGnar just cut out paw prints on my Cricut. I have the Scan N Cut but I don’t have the capability to upload images.
@@triciamcfarland8823 which SnC do you have?
SewGnar CM350. I think I’d have to buy a card or something. Not sure
So weird! I’m not super versed in the machines but have you tried reaching out to them?
Thanks, you make it look easy, I hand draw and cut all my Appliqué and it’s a pain , this seems like a great tool
Using the machine makes it MUCH easier!
Best video. And I watched many. Thanks so much for sharing. Newbie, like, and subscribed! 💕
Aww welcome! ❤️❤️

Wow. I didn’t know it could do that.
Very informative video...THANK YOU... Can you tell me if you can only send one file from the Canvas Workshop to the Scan n Cut at a time?

@@SewGnar THANK YOU
I have the scan and cut also you can scan your court and place your raven where ever you want it that is fun to do
I haven’t explored the “scan” aspect of it very much, but that sounds so much easier than guessing placement like I do!
Thank you for sharing this info! Now I have an idea what to do.... :)
Great video! Please tell me was your computer connected to the Scan/Cut by usb cable or bluetooth? Or is there some other way? Thank you
Bluetooth/WiFi!
Awesome! I'm thinking of getting a Scan N Cut and you've definitely sparked my interest!! Thanks so much.

Thank you..I love your videos..
❤️❤️❤️
love how you share
Glad to help!
Can you use this machine to engrave on the cork or does it only cut all the way through the fabric?
I’ve only ever cut with it, as far as I know there is not an embossing method but I could be wrong! I’m not a pro in the least with the machine.

I like your wallets
Thanks so much
