Those roads are so narrow!!! I love how you forced that Audiot to drive on the muddy drive!!! They didn't want to get their car dirty!!! I often wonder how often those houses built right up to the road get hit. I definitely wouldn't want my house that close to the road!! So glad you found your nut cover!! That was brilliant!!
Hello there, you have to remember that those type of houses were built before there were proper roads and the fastest travel was by horse! I bet there are a few with battle scars from modern day drivers. The nut cover is only a bit of plastic but they are also indicators so a quick visual inspection will show if one nut is slackening off. I couldn't believe I found it after all that time. You do a lot of driving on narrow country lanes I can see the what you got to put up with, on coming traffic just being clueless just heading for you and no were for them to go instead of pulling up, they can see you as much as you can see them and yet they put them selves in a hole they just pull up to you and panic. The problem with these drivers there is no basics as it comes to driving. Stay safe out there the roads are full of clueless drivers, have a good one take care

The only trouble with doing so much rural work is all this type of driving but the only thing is on roads like these that I've not been on before I don't know where all the passing places are, of course some of these lanes have very little in the way of passing places and it just makes me wonder why the locals don't make their own, which is what we did up here, of course you still get those that just can't recognise them and drive straight by as they don't look ahead. I always say you should simply drive from one passing place to the next, as in a separate move, looking ahead to the next one before carrying on. All the best Shaun stay safe out there.
