    Nice to see someone getting on nicely doing the same as I do myself...
    All I get in middle of all this is questions why I paint outside and should be in a bodyshop which I'm sick and tired of hearing I even use a tent.
    Bodyshop is the best for major accident repair such as panel replacements, welding, jig work, smart repairs can been done mobile or any car painted outside depends how you take it on when your left well alone in a high pressured job, the spraybooth is by the book you can still get odd bits of dirt no difference.
    I've been doing this 3 years mobile from bodyshop level the questions I get asked are laughable and just last week a car I was in the middle of painting the customer jumped at me finishing from work right in my work zone touching all my wet paint with prints and thumb nails before I even stuck heat on.
    Started with small arguments, neighbours coming out giving me abuse it's turning a joke which I'm walking away losing money, it's that or me losing my temper I don't understand if you hire someone for work at your home how you don't let them get on with it.
    Would you play with live wires why the electrician go's out to his van?
    I'm close to throwing in the towel it's made me lose the passion and not sure the people I'm turning up to or the danger.

    As always, the standard of the repair is down to the persons skills carrying out the work. King VDR is the King! many bodyshops frankly would struggle to produce the same quality standard

    Do you never get any dye back issues with the final finish with doing a flat polish immediately after? I've been having cars painted and what not for the last 15 years and aways been left for at least 2 weeks before any flat and polishing

    • @KINGVehicleDamageRepair
      @KINGVehicleDamageRepair  3 года назад

      It can happen of course however if you use the correct clear coats/hardeners designed for express repairs also following the technical data sheets it should not happen. I wouldn’t be being honest if I said I’ve need had that problem but it is pretty rare. With conventional clear coats 24-48 hours after spray booth baking is adequate before polishing. If bodyshops left cars for 2 weeks before polishing they would not be able to function productively for example.

    • @markrs59
      @markrs59 3 года назад

      @@KINGVehicleDamageRepair when I say 2 weeks that's after a full complete repaint, obviously for blow ins and small repairs I totally understand not leaving the car for a long period of time is not a productive way to work, the main reason my painters in the past have left them is just so any issues will hopefully arise before any polishing for a flawless finish
