@@geegee2022 you stay in your own lane, you clearly said you don’t care about how other painters do there work and as long as money keeps rolling in your bank then THATS ALL your bothered about which means you don’t care about anything else except your bank , maybe you should have chose some better words , try saying that to every customer when you give them the quote and you’ll see no one will want you to do that , and just bcuz money is rolling in then doesn’t mean your customers are happy , people get pain for doing shit jobs aswell and it’s not as if a customer has there car painted every month or even year that they will keep coming back

Perfect frankly. The alloy wheel touch-in is superb. I have had full alloy wheel refurbs, and they aren't always great! plus can only refurb fully circa twice. This alloy wheel repair is the best answer for small damage on alloy wheel outer rim.

Great vid, what silver you using on DC wheels, guessing it's a very fine and bright or almost a chrome, I'm looking for a silver to hide those clear coat lines after prep.
I have several vehicles with blended clear. One has it right on the hood of all places. It's lasted 6.5 years in the summer Texas heat. Only caveat, is if I ever get it detailed or paint corrected, I let the folks know where there was a blend. So they do not get too aggressive with the polisher. But usually they figure it out with the paint gauge.

Genuine Q - how do you get around painting the parking sensors with the rubber surround and avoid the paint flaking without masking them off?
I asked this question in the previous video. Usually ther is a rubber seal. If you don’t take the sensor out paint goes on the seal and as it’s rubber the paint flakes later on.
May be the cars Scott worked on doesn’t have a seal but The older cars tend to have a seal specially the cars I’ve worked on.
I’m sure Scott will explain this to us.

After painting and dry you take i tooth pick and scrape the rubber seal and the paint comes off
Appeal the ticket mate don't let them win. Appeals are actually costing council money.
The edge of the wheel really needs building up, not sanding away as it leaves a flat spot that’s visible. Can see why you’ve done it as it’s a slight visual improvement.

I thought diamond cut wheels need to be sanded down and then polished instead of painting unless your painting all the wheels

@@KINGVehicleDamageRepair Yes saw that thanks. Liked the Audi one today. Body shops are NOT always better as I had a car repaired after someone hit the front end and it took 3 times to get the blue paint the right colour. They didn't blend new wing into the door properly claiming Commercially Acceptable but on third go actually got it right.
