My daughter and son in law have bought one of these an auto model, it looks smart and well designed, they love it and its nice interior.
I like the front design on this more than the 3008.
Can’t see the dials?? I’ve got a great idea... adjust your seat or the steering wheel until you can😊
Your solution works just fine....trouble is if your 6ft like me try getting out of the car, or then back in for that matter, and your legs knock quite heavily against the steering wheel! Tried all sorts of combinations with the seat, steering wheel etc but kept coming back to the same problem so the car for that factor alone is a complete non starter unfortunately. If your 5ft 9in or under you will probably be ok but if your anywhere near 6ft you will mightily struggle.
Same day went and checked out the Renault 2020 Captur, no such issues and is a thing of beauty so will probably buy this instead?

Jayaditya t , all I can say is it didn’t work for me but please try it for yourself. I ended up getting a Renault Captur in the end.
This car is the best looking in class. Period. Nothing compares to its exterior or interior appearance. The only thing that concerns me is the longevity of the 3 cylinder petrol engine.
Definitely on top of my shopping list

I really don't understand how you can not see the dials. The steering wheel can be adjusted and from the looks of the video, there is a humongous amount of leg space left to do so. I'm 6'2 and I have no problem fitting even in a 208 which is way smaller and the dials can be seen easily.
Your meant to keep the steering wheel low - that s the design - noone is going to drive with the wheel hiding the dials
His driving position is extremely weird.
He’s extremely close to the steering wheel, and he has the top of the steering wheel at mouth height…
He's driving position is low and to close... If he got higher position it would be fine..
Yup you are correct Angus, you have to keep the wheel very low. The other comments are from people who have NOT driven the car, I own one. I am 180 cm and at a comfortable height the wheels blocks the view of the excellent instrument cluster.

I'm 5'7", so I'm always kinda flattering for a car's legroom. Saying that, the 2008 is about average for the class in terms of space.

Lovely car but the price is a bit steep. You could get a Kadjar, which is roomier, for a lot less. The new Captur is also very well thought out. That said, this new 2008 is just so pretty and different.

I have had one for a month now and really like it, apart from the interior! I think it’s a bit of a mess. I also have the 3D iCockpit which is cool when you first get it but does become a bit of a gimmick and in most of the options warning lights etc are all over the place. I would rather it came with reversing camera than the iCockpit. I can see the dials which is a bonus!
The lack of all wheel drive in this and the 3008 along with a poor infotainment system really let down an otherwise fantastic car

Worlds apart from its rivals
2:35, disagree, my daughter sat in one very recently and couldn't see anything out the back as the window sweeps up sharply. I couldn't see the speedo either, so was overall very disappointed. Not even considering to buy it now.

This generation got a few cm`s in length and 25% bigger price..not too smart.
well… it gained arround 15cm... which is "half of segment", so to say... and at least french prices are simmilar to prices of 2.gen 2008 ;). though, it is more expensive than Capture

I had a problem with seeing the dials on the previous 2008. That has put me off Peugeot to be honest...
I own a 3008 and have no problem seeing the dials. Takes a bit of adjusting seat and steering wheel.

If you cant see the digital dial that's a major design flaw surely. Might look nice but its French so electrics and mechanics will be shocking.

Boomers will love this car, they love small SUV's which are cheap. I don't like it at all.
It‘s the other way around. This car, like almost every small suv is targeted for young people because crossovers are trendy. I don‘t like suvs either thought i have to give cretids to peugeot, because this is a nice car. It‘s also too modern inside for most omd people
Forget about electric, 30 mins to charge. Electric cars just wont work especially once every car is and when you factor in every car being electric power stations will be pumping out plenty fumes into atmosphere, probably more than now
I bet they loose customers because of the stupid and small steering wheels.
I guess they loose older customers. But they also have a lot more new customers thanks to the design alone
