Nice video as always, i had the opportunity to make a drive test of the 2008 in Colombia I was impressed by the modern design, the 3D cockpit, the smoothness of the gearbox, almost imperceptible, but what I liked the most was the feeling of sportiness, the engine and the touch of the steering, it is really a very different and special suv
Another good review Thomas, well done. I take delivery of my Pearlescent White GTLine 1.2 130 bhp on 1 April. This will be my 3rd 2008 and never had any trouble with either of previous two. I find them very nice to drive, comfortable and well equipped. The new model takes the interior to a new level, the piano key controls under the main screen are very Mercedesesque don't you think, just like the A Class. I can't wait to start playing with everything. You glossed over the voice control a bit, will it operate the navigation system for instance as in the Mercedes. Keep up the good work.

Great review!! I would go for EV version. More expensive, yes. But electricity much cheaper than petrol in Switzerland. And fairly short distance within the country. The only concern: what about real cold weather? -10 to -20 degree celsius...
I really like the look of Peugeots new design. Both 208 and 2008 looks really good and have nice interior design as well. 208 is too small to be our main car so we will probably go for the e2008 or VW ID3 first. Which one depends on how the ID3 feels interior and driving wise.
Thanks for another helpful detailed review. Judging from the shaky/trembling image throughout many of the driving sections of the video, one gets the impression it is not a very comfortable vehicle during low-speed in-city journeys, especially over road bumps or potholes, which is the main reason I want to change my four-year-old Peugeot 208. So, Could you please be more specific/analytical about how it really feels driving it over road anomalies? Thanks.
Having driven Peugeot 2008 since the original in 2013, I can say that they are very comfortable and smooth to drive. Of course, over very badly potholed roads they are going to bounce a bit, but in over 50 years driving many different makes, I can't think of any that have been any better over rough surfaces

Well I read the first official price list where it said that it comes optional or with the 2nd trim level, but not standard. Do you have a different price list? It might differ from market to market.
Suspension is not a compromise. It is stiff beyond any norm. The car is a very good looking small city car and so - but the low steeringwheel make it uncomfortable to step in and out of the car and the suspension makes for a loud and choppy ride. Taken into account these cars are not meant nor motorized to be driven fast or sporty - it makes no sense at all to have such suspension caracteristics.

No I never push back the front seats all the way back. I adjust them to my driving position which is correct and also cleared by numerous of professional instructors
Indirect? Surely you mean direct, very small inputs result in a rapid change of direction. It would appear you have something of a downer on Peugeot, judging by your comments, especially the steering wheel
because of that unnormal steering wheel i think a lot of people don`t buy a peugeot, why peugeot do that i can`t understand it ? peugeot loses a lot of customers.
