To answer the welded/non-welded question, it depends how much "a LOT" is. On the pro side of pre-welded, I'd trust GenRight welders FAR more than anyone else's.
Since Wrangler frames are only 1/8th" and always rust in the flat sections behind the front frame arch, would it be possible to have the TJ to LJ kit frame sections start at the footwell area to strengthen the entire frame with new, stronger and non-rusty 3/16ths? I'd be more than willing to pay extra coin for the assurance that my #JeepCancer has been "cured" (coming from a B.C. guy who hasn't seen a non-rusty TJ in over 10 years).
You could, or just buy a Tracer Roller Chassis with a new frame and be done with the OEM frame. Other option is to do what we did on the Growler YJ and replaced the frame with a Throttle Down Kustoms LJ frame.
This TJ to LJ kit is a work of genius. I've had my TJ for over 20 years and have been wanting to upgrade to an LJ for the last 7. I have a few questions.... (1) Do you have any storage option plans for the huge void in front of the rear tire? (2) When I make the conversion, I want to go full Tracer on the suspension and axles, however, my engine choice is unique. I have a 3.0 liter OM606 turbo diesel and a 10-speed auto I would like to use. The engine makes 450HP and about 600-FPT. This motor can take the abuse and get respectable mileage. The engine is full mechanical injection and has no electronics. The Ford 10-speed is a work in progress... SO... the engine is lighter than the 4.0 and roughly the same weight as a 5.3/6.0. Can your shop help me with the driveline placement when the time comes? (3) Diesel fuel in your Tracer Tank? I know it can be done. Has your shop ever done it?
I can't even begin to say thank you enough for everything I've learned from this "Tech Talk" series.
GenRight y'all are awesome Tony🤘
Just learned you switched to Wednesdays ... THANKS!!!

Great video! Awesome product to hit our sport! I can't wait to install one. 💪👍
Well I’m on board
Where do you move the evap system to when you push it back that far in the tub?
I think you should sell the entire package a la cart. I would be interested in just the inner tub and corners then do everything else myself
Got it noted!
Can we use the existing frame in the rear that was originally cut off?
can this frame kit be used on a OE TJ Unlimited body tub and all the body mounts line up?
How would back seats work??

As far as the rear floor, what keeps it from flexing under weight with no beads it it?
If you currently have a TJ Currie short arm 4 inch lift can I use the same lift or would I have to change it for a LJ specific?
Will it work with my existing suspension that’s not GenRight (Currie)
