  • A Russian defector! Here in America! A tough-as-nails Russian made solid steel GMT dive watch. Feast your eyes and reminisce on the Cold War with this cult classic and ultra-affordable Vostok Komandirskie.
(I do not own the copyright on the sequences for the Hunt for Red October, which is one of my all time favorite films. I just used it a for some fun and inspiration!)

Have worn mine every day for the last 2 years.bath, shower, swim, work with power tools. Works fine and I have regulated it to 5 seconds a day.

Mine arrived defective, sent back to be fixed, re-arrived still not fixed. Opened it up and replaced spring loaded ratchet wheel, spring and it's little pedestal it fits over. Worked briefly and broke again. Ended up swapping in the dial and movement and hands from my 960 Neptune, put on Pepsi gmt bezel. Only problem movements I've had have been ones with gmt function. 2/4 on gmt vostoks. 020789 arrived with same problem as this one. Runs great but if you listen to frequency as you manually wind the watch it becomes high beat. Wearing them both they'd gain 2 minutes a day.

@CybertroninfiniteOfficial I did eventually fix the problem by replacing entire winding bridge and all components with one from a 2432. Now it's really accurate

@@metaldetectingthenortheast1294 so could you still recommend the 2432.12 gmt movement?

@CybertroninfiniteOfficial The 2415, 2416, 2409 tend to be most reliable. And the automatic version with 24 hour dial. Gmt hand vostoks or the one with 24 hour counter wheel I've not had much luck with out of box. Unless you're able to replace parts yourself I would skip the gmt.

@@metaldetectingthenortheast1294 gmt does seem unnecessarily complicated. I just like the small seconds dial

Case is big. Not a fan of mesh bracelets. I prefer the Vostok Amphibia Neptun GMT.

You can enjoy the watch without caring about the politics. Just like the Fliegers were used by Nazi's Air Force.
