Great video, and I too cannot use the Tim Holtz hand blower thing because of arthritis in my hands. I will look for the Conair tool! Many thanks - stay well🙂
So funny - this is my hair dryer! I recently purchased all the products for this technique, but haven’t had the chance to play yet. When I do, I’ll try the TH tool and my hair dryer to see which one I like better! Thanx, Tiffany!
Hey Cori. So sorry it took me a while to respond. I love that. "RA Warrior team" I have the hardest time in the mornings right now. By midday I am good to go. I haven't gotten on meds just yet. I see the doctor again in August. Thanks so much for being here! Big hugs!
Thank you so much! For years I’ve struggled with heat tools and hair dryers. I bought this tool and am experimenting. I’m trying to practice the beautiful rippling effect; can you get that by using this tool (
I have a small travel size hair dryer that is similar in size to the Ranger heat tool. It has different speed and heat settings. But I like the idea of the conair tool, it has a more narrow field of air flow than my small dryer. I might just go grab one and give it a try! Thanks! I actually have tennis elbow and cubital tunnel syndrome in my dominant hand so I can’t use the squeeze tool either.
Oh I’m so excited! I actually already have one made by Revlon but it’s the same I think, it’s got high, low, and cool settings. I never use the brush part anyway for my hair, thank you!
Great video; thank you for your reviews! I am not finding a link for the Conair curler tool that you recommend. Did I miss it? That is entirely possible with my 76 year old eyes LOL! I would like to buy that. I have the Tim Holtz tool and I have wondered if I would be able to use it as my hands are full of arthritis and hurt a lot of the time. I have not yet tried to alcohol inks as a paint method but I love the results I see everyone doing. I was not aware that the high heat would melt the paper so that’s good to know. Do you have recommendations for other papers? Oh, that’s right! I think that’s the video I am supposed to watch next. Thanks again for sharing your techniques etc. 🐝🐝🐝
You are very welcome. Glad it was helpful. The link to the tool is in the description box. It’s the first link. Also the paper I review in the other video is called craft plastic. It’s so much cheaper. Let me know if you still have issues finding the links. I will add them in the comment when I get to my computer.
@@Tiffany.Solorio Yes, I did find the link to the hair tool after I watched the video about the craft paper. I just now placed an order for both on Amazon. I enjoyed the second video too.
Dear Tiffany! Thanks for the important sharing! Thanks also for your wonderful channel, which is one of my favorites. I started with alcohol ink just now and bought straight Tim's air blower. Already in the first uses I had pain in my right hand and now after a few minutes of use the pain returns. I do not want to give up so fast .. Unfortunately the product you showed doesn't ship to Israel and I am looking for a similar product, without success.. ): I need a device whose cost is not expensive and the voltage is suitable for Europe. Do you have a recommendation for me?
😮 whoa...never knew about that tool. Honestly chickie, you make this look so easy!!! And now I want to give it a go between those two....paper and tool. Gotta check it out now....lol 😆😆😆
@@Tiffany.Soloriolove this free book and it would be very helpful if you would share the model number please. i keep forgetting which one you said and the link no good. RA is horrible
With so many tools to choose from. What is your go to tool for moving around alcohol ink?

Welcome to the RA Warrior team!! I've had it for about 5 years now, & I still craft almost everyday :) You got this!

The one tool I love to use the most for the alcohol inks is a small air compresser
I think Tim actually uses that one. I've loved mine for over a year now. I'm glad it helps with your RA!!!
When you first found this hair dryer... I ordered it. I haven’t used it yet but so look forward to it. Love your recommendations! 💕🙋♀️🌴

Thank you for this tutorial. Do you know if you can use 99% alcohol in place of 91%?
I'm not too sure.. I would try it and see what happens.

Thanks so much! I appreciate it. So glad you find my videos helpful! ❤️
Did the one you used have a cord? I don't find any cordless ones.
Yes! It has a cord. The link to the one I used is in the description. I hope that helps.
Great solution 👍 can you please provide a link.
Thank you. What link are you looking for?
Would love some more alcohol ink videos!
I want that tool! Thanks for sharing, tiff!
I love it!! Let me know if you get it and if you do how you like it. Thanks for watching! ❤️
I already had the aircompresser. Joanne from Price Utah
You make it look so easy!!! But as always amazing! Great tip! ❤️❤️❤️
I use my granddaughters hair dryer for dolls. It’s small, cold air and low air flow . I don’t know how long it will last but it was cheap
If it works…. It works. 😊 what is your favorite thing to do with your alcohol ink backgrounds? Thanks so much for watching.
@@Tiffany.Solorio I like to add foil and then just leave it blank for cards
Returned my air compressor and bought electronic blower for about 22 on Amazon. Three speeds.
I have had RA for about 15 years and a lot of the things crafty do not make my hands and wrists feel much better….
Hey Robyn. So sorry. Thanks so much for being here! ❤
The hair dryer you list is not the one you’re using in your video.🤷🏼♀️
I will check it out. Sometimes Amazon changes their links.
