Hi there, first time viewer .. and it won't be my last. I think you answered ever question that was on my mind about alchol inks. I've been collecting some things so I can start a new project with inks. It's so exciting. Thank you
I love this lady. She has a positive attitude and sees possibilities no matter what she does. She has ideas and solutions that can turn anything into a masterpiece.
This is, by far, the best video I've seen, thank you so much!! I just made my first one today and about to do another, inspired by you! Just a 4x4 tile, gotta start small!
Love this. Thank you for sharing your techniques. I'm just getting ready to do alcohol in painting ,and this has really helped me know how many different applications you can do!!
Your video is terrific - I subscribed! I've wanted to do alcohol inks for a long while, and your info is so thorough, I'm ready to start! Never heard it called a "Cry-cut"! Their logo is a cricket. 😄 Love your style!
I know in the beginning many used the straw, but since there is a warning not to use it because it’s very easy to inhale the alcohol . In general alcohol inks should be used inna well ventilated area. But it’s best to use an air pump or hair dryer, not a straw.
Or airbrush without ink. I'm on oxygen therapy and chose one because they are fairly inexpensive (under $30) and easy on the hands when used with a hose between the mini compressor and pen.
So many questions…. Can you use gin or vodka? What is the difference between a watercolor ink and watered down alcohol? Can you use archers watercolor paper? I love it! Thank you for a great demo!!!
I hope it is okay to make a friendly suggestion. I think it took about 13 minutes to get to see the alcohol inks getting applied. I wanted to see how it spreads on paper. Show that, then show your ink drawings on the alcohol ink. That would grab my attention. My curiosity has been up for a long time. Suggestion. At start of video, give some footage of what it looks like to use the inks. Then explain after that. It will encourage beginniners to hang in there. For me, 13 minutes of explaining is discouraging me to stay with the video because I have nothing to relate to about how the inks work. I like your designs on the ink. They are really nice.
I think this is a judgement call with arguments for either side of the “debate;” I much prefer to see what the project is, so that I can decide if I want to watch. I always end up scrollling to the end to see it and then going back. But I do agree that in-depth descriptions at the beginning are not really needed.
What you are creating is lovely but many of the supplies being used are far outside of my budget even when on sale. Oxygen therapy forced me to think outside of the box, solution: This inexpensive airbrush bought from Amazon - Rexley Airbrush Kit. Will only be using it to blow air in place of using a straw or expensive cans of canned air. I use salt in various sizes to soak up excess ink and to dry the ink faster, it also adds some texture.
This was one of the best tutorials.
You are a joy to watch. Thank you for sharing your talent!
My bucket list is to try every single art medium that I can!! Alcohol ink is definitely on my list!!

Do you need to varnish the tiles after painting??
Ah. Never mind. 😂
You need to seal it with a spray. She showed it at the beginning of the video
Wow, they are lovely.❤
I’ve got some supplies, wondered is watercolor paper works as well?
I love this, can't wait to try it. Thank you
I learned so much. Thank you! ❤
Hi, I have trouble with the smell. It gives me headaches. Do you know anything that could help me ? Thank you
Why I don’t get the round form when I use the straw?

So how do you finish a a painting with alcohol Paints? Like, so it doesn’t slide off or get ruined and humidity or whatever whatever
Can you resin on top of alcohol paints to seal your art on a tile to be used as a coaster?
When you say using your Black Pen...what kind of Pen do we need to buy?
What is the black pen? I know you said gel… specifically? I want to try it :)
Did you have water on your brush or alchol
I love you!!!! Lol. You are fun. I am screaming. Whoo hoo!!!! Using a tooth brush to spatter ink or alcohol would be awesome.

Stunnnnning!
Awesome ❤
Try using an ink blower, it works great.
Very informative🇨🇦
Alcohol ink is also toxic so it’s a good idea to wear gloves. You can remove it from surfaces and hands with hand sanitizer - healthier and cheaper.🥰
Or you can use a skinnier straw like I do because of my breathing issues
