The batteries that can put out more power at the same 18v just means that the electrical circuits that manage the battery cells will allow a higher amperage, so it'll flow more electricity at any moment. P=IV where P is power, I is current and V is voltage. So, if it could supply 2amps of current at 18v, before, that would be 36 watts of power. So, if the new version can supply 4 amps of current at 18v, then it would be 72 watts of power
The question is 'are they two, three or four times better than OEM in line with the difference in price?' In my experience, no. Zero issues to date, much money saved.
@@arbit3r all of mine still going fine. Only failure to date is the genuine Milwaukee twin charger - 4 charge cycles - of the genuine 5.0 and 12.0 batteries - and it went up in smoke. £115 worth of genuine junk.
@@arbit3r - I got them from Amazon (12V and 18V) after checking the RUclips comparisons and then again the online reviews. I generally don’t buy anything from Amazon with 1 star reviews >9%. @@garymelrose9727 Milwaukee are very reliable. I own the full m18 fuel range and use them everyday as i run a design and build business. They are abused on a daily and I have yet to have a failure. Impact drill is from 2014 and still going.
@@arbit3r Yet my double charger - same price as my vastly superior Festool double charger - failed after a handful of cycles. Milwaukee is fine in it’s niche (building sites, rough DIY and garden tools) though, if horribly overpriced for what they are in the UK.
I bought two 9.0. One blew within 2 days using the skill saw, the other stopped charging after 2 months. The casing had to be glued back within the first week. They are pretty much junk. Power wise the 9.0's had less power then my 3 year old genuine 4.0s.
@@ebkbk9902 those tools won't pull many amps so you would get away with generic batteries. Try them on anything big and they will fail pretty fast. i have a bosch impact drill 25618 and both bartteries that came with it was bat612 and they don't work at all and i don't understand why. i had it going on 3 years and i only use it once and i never charged them so i heard the battery died and the other one stays with 3 bars showing. so i want to purchase a high output battery for my impact drill
@8:15 No offence but if you cant understand how it puts out more power and the same voltage you really shouldnt be talking about batteries. Power = volts x amps. If you want more power but the volts are unchanged you need to increase the amperage which is what they have done
My Vanon Milwaukee 9.0 battery weighed six ounces less than stock and powered my Milwaukee led rocket light about four hours on low . I would expect that from Two Ah battery 😡 I got taken my own fault , lesson learned 😡
the brand "Vanon battery" their aftermarket m12 & m18 are identical in performance to the original at 1/2 the price or less. In my experience these batteries are fantastic
Every vannon I have every got started acting stupid within months. Got some other no name stuff that still going but they are subpar to the OEM no doubt. Only use the knock off stuff in my low drain devices now. Like lights and such
take it apart everyone i have i had to resolder the wire to the battery's I'm broke i buy what i can buy last two battery's i rebuilt i added expandafom ive hade no problem since
I was hoping for an actual hands-on review. All he is doing is sitting on a stool talking bad about after market batteries. You missed a possible new sub (boring video).
My experience with aftermarket batteries are… you get what you pay for! No issues so far with OEM
I've had nothing but good luck with the vanon m12 5.0 batteries and waitley m18 6.0 ones. I have 2 of each though so not a large sample size
Depends on the brand of knock offs i bought some 6.0 for lights only but work in my hackzall and hole hawg
waitley ftw i notice they last wayyy longer then my xc 4.0

What about the Milwaukee sponsored in Amazon with 5.0 xc Milwaukee at half price ???
Are this battery genuine and good or not ???
Same with everything else that you want to keep standard factor not upgrade OEM is always the way to go …. Thanks for the information
Cannon is junk, go with waitley and their worth it. Not saying they're like oem, but pretty close and are by far the best aftermarket batteries

You should test them out... Of course OEM will be better.
anyone use the lumsing aftermarket batteries? how are they?
