You did this 6 years ago and I see that's an original BMW OEM fuel injector for $145. I called up two BMW dealerships for the same part..they now want $300 per fuel injector for my 16 year old 328i BMW N52 engine. Unbelievable! Never again will I buy a BMW. Way out of hand. Oh, good video!!
@@georan4323 I’m sorry you had that experience! For what’s its worth, FCP Euro carries genuine BMW injectors for $213. You could also go aftermarket for lower. Here is the link: www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-fuel-injector-13537531634#fitment Good luck, and thank you for watching 🙏🏻
I’ve just checked the injectors on my car. The rail didn’t come out easy but I managed to take it out. I’ve tested each injector with an arduino home made electronic controller and an air compressor to make the fuel come out and they were all perfect
You saved me hundread of dollars men. Apprecaited that. Only problem is in my case, The top cover of the electonic connecter to the fuel enjectors comes off very easily. I scare that cover will come off when I driving.
@@martymeyer4125 I got mine from FCP Euro. Remanufactured for 34 bucks each and they are identical to the original ones, even have the BMW logo on them.
I don’t think so, the car adapts itself constantly to the what flow of fuel the injector delivers but if the injector is not the same as the one it came with the car it will always show an offset in the fuel trims. But since that is oem it should be no problem at all.
A couple of small things maybe help? Forget trying to undo the small clips on the injectors electrical just take a screw driver start in front and pull up slowly work your way back then center then back part thay we’ll pull right up you will not damage anything. And for the release of the gas pressure start the car and pull fuel pump fuse car will die and that will release pressure. Hopefully that will save some time. Also when taking out the injectors sometimes there stuck same thing use screw driver start front pry up easy center then back part take your time you want to try to pull up evenly....
i got P12BA code for injector 4 but however i have no misfire, i got rough idling sometimes and it is not consistent , if i replace the injector do i need to code the trim code ?
The N52 is port injected and as far as I know does not need injectors to be coded. That only applies to the Turbo motors such as N54/N55 etc they have Direct Injection.
Thank you for the video, wenn you do it it looks easy, but for me it is I think to difficult, any thanks, i do not have a garages., are you shure it is for E 90 2008 , because there different injectors , greeting from holland. Amsterdam.
Hi! Excelente DIY! I have a 130i with N52 engine! Anxious to see the power steering replace! Have you had a chance to do it? Send hi to Brazil man! Tks!
Hello! I also have a BMW, and it also misfired with engine light on, and I used OBD scanner to check the codes. The codes are $07E8, and $07EC, do you know what do the codes mean?
The dealership said I got a bad injector in cylinder 4 on my 2009 E90 335i. Anyone know if they count the cylinders from front to back or back to front?
I was under the impression for n51/n52 that yu had to replace in sets of 3 (either bank one, bank two or both). also I thought you had to code the new ones to the ECU...? TIA
kingpin16052 you do so take note of the numbers on each www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/techarticles/BMW-3-Series-E90/FUEL-Fuel_Injectors_Replacement/FUEL-Fuel_Injectors_Replacement.htm
Their lifetime warranty is ridiculous. I used to buy exclusively from ECS tuning, but BMWs have some parts that fail every 40k miles, and FCP is the best way to go. If you buy a part from them, the next time you have to buy a replacement, you send back the failed part bought from FCP and they refund your recent purchase, less shipping. Awesome.
inpa doesn't work to code injectors on e90 n52. I went through he trouble of getting a cable and installing it, and the only one that has the injector coding is n54 engine.
Good to see new content Nico!! Miss ya
A very helpful video overall. I suggest changing the O-rings on the other fuel injectors while you have the fuel rail out.
Great suggestion and thank you for watching
Welcome back! Good to see you making videos again!

Thanks for video. Just to completed it, and it went off without a hitch! I purchased reman's for 49 bucks each.
Do you have a link or company name for the remanufactured ones?

WoW! Welcome back Guys 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
welcome back!!
can you guys upload back the video where you guys did the oil pan gasket on the s5x swapped e30??
What code were you getting when you were having the misfire ?
lets do the DIY ! all of those gaskets are notorious for Bmw... especially power steering reservoir and feed lines...
When i change an injector no need to program it with inpa ?

I think the valve over job has already been done pretty well on utube
I know this is an older video, but do you need to code injectors on a 328?

If you are having issues with the fuel line you need push the plastic cover in while pushing the towards the plastic cover.

Appreciate the video. Thanks. 🙏🏼
What was the trouble code?
DIY please on the oil gaskets

Great video, thanks.
Yep getting code misfire cylinder 2 and replaced both coil pack and plug and still getting code so next step is injector for cylinder 2
im going through the exact same problem right now

do you have to calibrate an injector replacement
@@davidjones6616 not on this engine.

What were the problems you were experiencing? Chasing some weird flats and throttle response on my E91, no codes
I'm having the same issues with my 2006 325xi and have been thinking the this is the issue. were you given an answer?
What do you mean by weird flats and throttle response?
Can you send a list of parts used
Hell Yeaa bra I gotta 2006 330xi I gotta do them I’m getting white smoke sometimes
Do they required coding/calibration like 335i?
no

DIY really helpful 👌🏻
Do you think a bad injector would cause a rough idle??
Yes it would
You can get the part remanufactured for $35 on FCP Euro

Any update on the e21?
bring it back nico!
Nice, clear, very good explanation DIY video. Thanks a lot. Can you please make a video DIY to replace valve gasket? God bless you.
Also works for the Z4 (E85/E86) non-M cars and 1 Series (E81/E82/E87/E88) with the N52. Actually also the 5 and 7 and X3 and X5s, every N52.
Mine keeps going when I push the valve
Let’s see all three of those diy seal videos
Engine still skips with new injectors plugs and coil packs
Thanks A loooooot
💯💯💯💯💯👍🏻
BTW fuel injectors need to be coded !
Even on the 328i? I dont see that option on INPA or ISTA....
Those are super small compared to ther 335i
Me drains the fuel in 2022.
I will never financially recover from this 😭
