My deepest condolences to the whole fam on the loss of Gracie Lou. There is very little in this world as pure and unconditional as an animal's love and our love for them.
Three years ago we lost our precious Prissy. She was a 17 year old Maltese. She used to be white but with age she gained some glitter grey. And the same week we lost prissy. One of our friends took her own life. She had an 11-year-old daughter, but she had gotten some very horrible health news so we had two losses in one week. Thankfully, God helped us through it because it was totally horrible. God is always there for us. We just have to allow him in and allow him to help us. I love y’all so much. ❤
All these meals look delicious I have tried the Salisbury steak meatballs multiple times and it’s always a hit. Here’s a suggestion. You should take all the #1 winners from the best of winner dinners and see which is the best meal of the year.
My daughter Piper (who just turned 3 last month ❤) is a fan. She picked this video today and saw Steven with the flower knife. She yelled, "Hey, put that down! That's Mandy's knife". I laughed so hard I cried 😂
I wear reading glasses and I have to put my glasses on when I eat because everything between my finger tips and my face is a blur and I need to see what I’m eating. I lost my 9 year old Ella-Grace on December 6 of 2021 and a week later, my sweet husband checked the animal shelter website and found a 7 week old baby girl. I had Ella from 5 weeks old and my kids and I bottle fed her and her brother and sister till they were 8 weeks old. We couldn’t give them up and kept all 3 of them. Ella-Grace was so tiny and petite she never weighed more than 4 or 5 pounds. Fast forward to now, I have Lola-Jade. She had the greenest eyes, thus the middle name Jade. She has exactly the same markings as Ella had but she has short hair and Ella was long haired. Lola is also almost 15 pounds and the sweetest, most affectionate baby girl. I missed Ella and her hugs and kisses and Lola has a habit of rubbing my face with her face and nuzzling my neck to hug me. Ella almost died in my arms and Lola seems to want to live her life in my arms or on my lap. I can only imagine the pain of losing her after 20 years and you are and will still be in my prayers. The only thing I love more about your channel and watching you cook, is seeing how much the two of you love each other. I just love you guys. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

At 73, it’s anything chocolate for me! We have two very precious cat kids. Jessie is 9 yrs old and he runs the house! But, Miss Sadie is 28 years young, and is the “real” boss! Miss Sadie is a typical southern lady, who rules her home with quelling look. And, if that doesn’t work, a wicked right cross, minus her extended claws, of course! lol! 😂 My husband and I love our two furr babies, as we have no children. Over the years, every time we have lost a furr baby, it has been like a death in our small family. 😢 The grief does get easier to bear, but a tiny part is always there in your heart of hearts. It will get easier, as you will find you will begin to remember more of the funny things and less of the sharpness of grief. I really enjoy your videos and I’m going to do the Mississippi Burger And the Mississippi Salisbury Steak, from the meatballs. I’m sorry about❤ the names of the two recipes I’m going to try. I saved them, but named them the wrong names. I know which is which though, lol! My hubby will go bananas over both, not to mention, me too! I will break my diet for these two! I've made the Salisbury steak meatballs with the frozen turkey meatballs and they were just as good as the regular meatballs. My son took some home with him that night and told me I needed to make more LOL I've made them at least 3 times since I saw the video made by you. Also, I'm still so saddened by the loss of Gracie Lou. My heart still breaks when you talk about her. My cat used to run over and jump in my lap whenever I played one of your videos and when Gracie would meow for cheese, my cat would put her face as close to my laptop as she could and lick the screen. She is such a weird cat but she's my weird cat. Love to you and your family
Unless you have pets you can’t understand the magnitude of losing pets. My girl dog passed away this year. Olivia was my spirit animal. There will never be another like her, for me. 💯❤️

Many years ago we had a beloved cat who became very sick. We had to let him go, just as you did with Gracie Lou. He passed away in my arms and it was the most precious memory of him just melting into me. I know you will remember all of the sweet moments with your girl. Blessings.

Oh, my goodness! The Salisbury Meatballs are awesome! We make them about every other week! I use the same brand Meatball, but I get the Angus Beef ones, instead of the Italian. The meatballs are larger, and Publix puts them on BOGO often! They’re so easy and delicious! 😘

I love the Italian green beans, but I bring to a boil, drain and while draining, add desired amount of olive oil and minced garlic in pot. Add the beans back in and stir with oil and garlic. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook to desired texture. I like them on a soft texture. Delicious. You can do this with regular green beans but I prefer the Italian ones. I do spinach this way using 10 oz. frozen boxes of spinach. Cook until done, and drain and follow the green beans way while they are draining with the oil and garlic. My late husband never ate spinach before we met (his mom used canned spinach, yuk!). I cooked it this way and he loved it from then on. I had 3 sons who always loved my spinach. That is why I used the word boxes of frozen spinach. As they grew I kept having to add more boxes to meet their appetites!

Aw, we love y'all too! Y'all need to go ahead and adopt another kitty. My baby cat Izzy, passed 2 weeks after my husband. I went through some pretty bad stuff 5 years ago, God was right beside me. My husband passed on a Sunday the very day he came into this world. My daughter lost her husband 4 months later. My sister passed 7 months later, my brother in law 1 month later, then my sister in law a month later. End of 2020 my grandson lost his fiance. If it had not been for the Lord, I would not have been able to make it. God Bless you all. ❤❤❤🎉

To make getting the burger out of the press easier....I always spray with olive oil before forming each burger. That stops them from sticking in the mold.
I definitely know the sorrow your family is feeling. I lost two of the best family members who were always there for me. My Jake 14 years old and Molly 13 years old passed away years ago at separate times. I mourned for at least two weeks hard. I still miss them and think of them often. I never got another dog because I can’t handle the loss. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Here’s a great recipe when we finally get to break the grill out or make them on the griddle. But a meatloaf burger. However u make ur meatloaf just put each ball into a burger and throw it on the grill. Game changer to cut down on prep work is use a jar or 1/2 jar of salsa it has ur veggies and tomatoes in it and the egg holds it together and some shredded cheddar or any cheese to the hamb

I made Mississippi meatballs about 3 weeks ago. Since I live alone, I froze all but one serving. Whether I use meatballs or roast, I always line the bottom of my crockpot with frozen green beans and surround the meat with little new potatoes.
We had a Labrador mix named Maddie and she was the perfect dog for us. I did not make the choice but rather let my husband do the choosing of when it would be best to let her go, last year, since she was mainly his dog. We live in Kansas City and he found Lap of Love. They were so kind and took extra steps to help us with her when they really did not have to. She is so missed. Buuuut, 5 months later, we got a 4 month yellow Lab puppy. What were we thinking??? We are OLD! The last time we had a puppy was 15 years ago. LOL She has brought a new meaning to muscles and joints aching. However, we love her so much that we cannot begin to think of parting with her. Still praying for your heart!!

I made the Mac & Cheese for supper tonight. I halved the recipe, since it's just my husband and myself. This is a winner in our house, I will be making it again. I really don't care for homemade mac & cheese, I like the cheap store brand boxed mac & cheese. But, this is a keeper. It was a go backer for both of us.
Common Tater's addition of the white onion to the McRib-ish sammies made sense to me. There be onions in the BBQ sauce, reinforced by the white onions. Good choice. I loved watching Gracie cry for her cheese! How precious she was! I have 3 cats that are inside and I have 9 cats outside! The cats outside either got dropped off here or the females had kittens! I love cats and everyone keeps telling me that I need to get rid of them or at least half of them. I can’t stand the thought of them going to a shelter where they would be put down or get adopted out and be abused possibly. So I go through around 60 or 70 lbs of cat food a month but I wouldn’t have it any other way! They’re healthy and happy here. 🐈 🐈⬛ Im sending prayers from Alabama and hope y’all can find peace and comfort knowing little Gracie is in Heaven and y’all will see her again one day! Many years ago we had a beloved cat who became very sick. We had to let him go, just as you did with Gracie Lou. He passed away in my arms and it was the most precious memory of him just melting into me. I know you will remember all of the sweet moments with your girl. Blessings.

Oh, my goodness! The Salisbury Meatballs are awesome! We make them about every other week! I use the same brand Meatball, but I get the Angus Beef ones, instead of the Italian. The meatballs are larger, and Publix puts them on BOGO often! They’re so easy and delicious! 😘

I love the Italian green beans, but I bring to a boil, drain and while draining, add desired amount of olive oil and minced garlic in pot. Add the beans back in and stir with oil and garlic. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook to desired texture. I like them on a soft texture. Delicious. You can do this with regular green beans but I prefer the Italian ones. I do spinach this way using 10 oz. frozen boxes of spinach. Cook until done, and drain and follow the green beans way while they are draining with the oil and garlic. My late husband never ate spinach before we met (his mom used canned spinach, yuk!). I cooked it this way and he loved it from then on. I had 3 sons who always loved my spinach. That is why I used the word boxes of frozen spinach. As they grew I kept having to add more boxes to meet their appetites!
Oh these dishes look so delicious. The Mac n cheese and Salisbury meatballs looks so delicious. They all look so good. You two tickle me the way Steven looks at you and you him. So sweet. Enjoy watching thanks for sharing. 🥰

I had to send my pit bull home when he was 18 y/o. That was 27 years ago, I still think about him almost everyday. They do nestle in our hearts...forever.

Aw, we love y'all too! Y'all need to go ahead and adopt another kitty. My baby cat Izzy, passed 2 weeks after my husband. I went through some pretty bad stuff 5 years ago, God was right beside me. My husband passed on a Sunday the very day he came into this world. My daughter lost her husband 4 months later. My sister passed 7 months later, my brother in law 1 month later, then my sister in law a month later. End of 2020 my grandson lost his fiance. If it had not been for the Lord, I would not have been able to make it.

To make getting the burger out of the press easier....I always spray with olive oil before forming each burger. That stops them from sticking in the mold.
I definitely know the sorrow your family is feeling. I lost two of the best family members who were always there for me. My Jake 14 years old and Molly 13 years old passed away years ago at separate times. I mourned for at least two weeks hard. I still miss them and think of them often. I never got another dog because I can’t handle the loss. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Here’s a great recipe when we finally get to break the grill out or make them on the griddle. But a meatloaf burger. However u make ur meatloaf just put each ball into a burger and throw it on the grill. Game changer to cut down on prep work is use a jar or 1/2 jar of salsa it has ur veggies and tomatoes in it and the egg holds it together and some shredded cheddar or any cheese to the hamb

I made Mississippi meatballs about 3 weeks ago. Since I live alone, I froze all but one serving. Whether I use meatballs or roast, I always line the bottom of my crockpot with frozen green beans and surround the meat with little new potatoes.
We had a Labrador mix named Maddie and she was the perfect dog for us. I did not make the choice but rather let my husband do the choosing of when it would be best to let her go, last year, since she was mainly his dog. We live in Kansas City and he found Lap of Love. They were so kind and took extra steps to help us with her when they really did not have to. She is so missed. Buuuut, 5 months later, we got a 4 month yellow Lab puppy. What were we thinking??? We are OLD! The last time we had a puppy was 15 years ago. LOL She has brought a new meaning to muscles and joints aching. However, we love her so much that we cannot begin to think of parting with her. Still praying for your heart!!

I made the Mac & Cheese for supper tonight. I halved the recipe, since it's just my husband and myself. This is a winner in our house, I will be making it again. I really don't care for homemade mac & cheese, I like the cheap store brand boxed mac & cheese. But, this is a keeper. It was a go backer for both of us.
Common Tater's addition of the white onion to the McRib-ish sammies made sense to me. There be onions in the BBQ sauce, reinforced by the white onions. Good choice.
Also, I got the chance to do some shopping here in the next couple days, and I need to come up with a menu, which will lead to the shopping list. Then I have to load the giant Igloo into the back of my truck, load it wth enough ice to cool it down, and take it for an hour and a half to Costco. From there, I'll figure it out. As far as losing a pet, I probably already told you about my American Akita's passing (if I didn't, you know why) after a 3 year fight with cancer. As we all know, there was an election on Nov 5, but it's not the one you might be thinking of. Thor was born, and the election had exactly 2 votes. Which one of those American Akita puppies is Thor?

Cinnamon: I use Saigon cinnamon but any cinnamon will do.
Nutmeg: This recipe is written for pre-ground nutmeg. If you use freshly ground, then you’ll need to adjust the quantity by half or even 2/3rds. Fresh nutmeg has a completely different and wonderful flavor but it is stronger.
Allspice: Allspice is a powerful spice. She will take over all the other spices if you let her. I always use allspice with a light hand. She pairs beautifully with apple
Apple Pie Spice
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Serves 8
This easy homemade apple pie spice is perfect for fall baking! Use it in favorite apple recipes like pies, crisps, and crumbles, or try one of the suggestions in the post above.
Ingredients
1/4 cup cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cardamom.

EASY APPLE BUTTER PANCAKES
Ingredients:
2 cups complete pancake mix
1/2 cup Apple Butter
1 tsp. apple pie spice
INSTRUCTIONS:
#1. Prepare pancake mix according to package directions.
#2. Then add 1/2 cup Apple Butter along with 1 tsp. Apple Pie Spice
#3. Cook pancakes and serve with syrup. Makes 10-12 pancakes

for 6 pancakes
2 cups pancake/waffle mix
2/3 cup Apple Butter
2/3 cups apple juice or milk or water
1 tsp. Apple Pie spice
for 12 pancakes
4 cups pancake/waffle mix
1 1/3 cup Apple Butter
1 1/3 cups apple juice or milk or water
2 tsp. Apple Pie spice
INSTRUCTIONS:
#1. Heat a skillet or griddle to medium.
#2. Mix together a;; ingredients in a bowl.
#3. Spoon 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan/griddle for each pancake.
#4. When bubbles are visible in the middle of the pancake, flip gently.
#5. Continue making pancakes until batter is all gone
#6. Serve with butter and syrup
AUTUMN DRIZZLE
APPLE SPICE SYRUP
In a saucepan combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 Tbls. cornstarch. 1/4 tsp.ground Allspice and 1/8 tsp. fresh ground nutmeg; mix well. Add 1 3/4 cup apple juice or apple cider. Cook and stir over medium heat until syrup is bubbly and slightly thickened. Make 1 1/4 cups
This Mac and cheese was tasty BUT we didn’t care for the texture of the noodles. So imma just boil mine from now on but everyone is different! ❤

I loved watching Gracie cry for her cheese! How precious she was! I have 3 cats that are inside and I have 9 cats outside! The cats outside either got dropped off here or the females had kittens! I love cats and everyone keeps telling me that I need to get rid of them or at least half of them. I can’t stand the thought of them going to a shelter where they would be put down or get adopted out and be abused possibly. So I go through around 60 or 70 lbs of cat food a month but I wouldn’t have it any other way! They’re healthy and happy here. 🐈 🐈⬛ Im sending prayers from Alabama and hope y’all can find peace and comfort knowing little Gracie is in Heaven and y’all will see her again one day! I’m so sorry for the loss of Gracie. I lost my Molly, who looked just like Gracie on June 19th then one month almost to the day on July 18th I lost my husband of 58 years. It’s been the hardest few months for me as I’m sure it’s been very difficult for you. Bless you! I do miss seeing Gracie. She was the star of your video’s.
