Hello teacher Greg, Here is another 3rd conditional alternative I've learnt from my previous teacher, albeit very formal. Were I to have known, I would have acted differently.
Interesting video with advanced expressions, thanks. What I can't relate is why the main motive to use these expressions would be to sound impressive. I would rather like to know the subtle nuances these expressions add to the standard clause, e.g. more polite, more elegant etc.

A great lesson. Also it is better to indicate which alternatives are more formal. Then we can avoid them in informal use
