Just want you to know that you are one of the most relatable hijabi Muslim You tubers out there. Most of these Muslim “influencers” have become so unrelatable and out of touch so you may not have “popped off” like you said but I’m really thankful for youtubers like you who stay real and hope you continue to do what you’re doing iA
Couldn’t agree more
Absolutely- really authentic mashaAllah may Allah swt. guide you always 🙏🏽
💯
Those insta influencers let their bling bling life see. Even having everything fits their aesthetics🤦♀️.. And letting see people that they have a perfect life, perfect husband great father and no any problems
💯 agree
Mental-health care I practice:
-List of 3 things I am grateful for everyday: random things
-Start my day and finish it with duaa
-Sports 1 day/following day rest/sports again
-Go out everyday (only for grocery shopping but I need the fresh air)
-Listen to khutbas every 2 days--> to keep me on track
-Avoid people who are toxic/cut them off
-Understand toxic people you can't cut off so you understand the manipulation behind their behaviour and become less affected
-Go to therapist regularly
-Cry when I feel sad, pet myself and tell myself I will be all right (I act as if I was my bestie)
I guess there are other things I do but that's already enough lol.
Ma sha Allah sister ❤❤more power to you....
I love all these tips, thank you for sharing! Gonna try and incorporate them in my life ❤️
@Maria Everything on your list is on point Mash'Allah.
But with toxic people you can't cut off, (like family), you can definitely limit time with them.
It could be once a week. If you live with them, going out regularly and and staying in your bedroom works wonders.
Having lunch and dinner, at a different times then they do "because you're studying in your room" really helps.
If you get stuck, and have no choice but to spend time with them, when they say something negative, tell them that you're bursting for the loo.
Or simply space out, and imagine the toxic people are singing your favourite song.
"DESI culture is all about being the best" is the truest sentence ever spoken
Yes. So true..
No it's not,how could you say that!!
Maybe it's more about being better than others.
Hey please don't stop making videos. Your one of the only female RUclipsrs that I can actually watch and enjoy. And your humour is too good. Keep up the good work.
Listen, consider me an aunty as I'm twenty yrs older than you.. My experiences were that 30 is hard.. Because you think you're now older and should have attained certain goal posts.. But its actually the hardest time cos it's when you're trying to settle with your own home, little kids (or trying to have some) and you suddenly think you're getting older as you're twenties are slipping by.. I took on a lot of stress in my thirties and calmed down in my forties.. Take my advice : Enjoy whatever you can at present. Enjoy your youth. Enjoy the fact that you can run and exercise without aches and pains. Enjoy your youth with your husband. I look back on our old photos and miss our younger selves.. When we had better skin, thick hair, were more agile, etc.. Happiness is to a degree, in your own hands. Life will move on.. So enjoy your early thirties before it leaves you.. And just be grateful to Allah, for still being here.. That's my bit.
Yooo.. ain't no nobody got time for that!!!!
Thank you :)
@@morehan5592, time for what? You can't spare 3 mins to read someone's post but can use 1 min to tell everyone that you ain't got time? Listen to experience, son. 😁
@@esthellakomerl8084 it's a bit too much y🤣
@@esthellakomerl8084 didn't mean to be rude sorry 😔
This reminds me of a quote, spending half of your life learning to become an adult and spend the other half learning to be a child again. Life used to be just playing and being happy but we got sucked into these responsibilities and never got back to playing, being happy & doing what we want in our day
the “HoW iS iT gOiNnNn” gets me every time
Really enjoyed this video, Tazzy I think you’re so hard on yourself and I know it’s hard not to compare to others, but there’s literally NOBODY making content like yours, you’re funny, relatable and I feel like I’m growing up alongside you. Like that but about rolling your eyes people saying don’t listen to bad stuff FELT THAT! I get it now 😅
I love your videos. I can relate to so much of this.
I’m 26, unmarried and feel like I have achieved nothing in my life. It gets me down all the time. This is a reminder that I need to focus more on my mental health.
I feel ya sister ❤️ we got to focus on our personal REAL achievements ✨
30 years old is Young... Wait until you become 60, then most of these mental issues you talked about just vanish Into Thin Air! You could care less what other people think about you because at this point you only want to be you... of course being kind and thoughtful is always best but never compromising who you really are for the sake of being like somebody else or impressing somebody! But you are right when you say about doing things that you enjoy doing as a child because the little child is always within us wanting to be a little silly and off the wall! I heard a famous Saint say one day that everyone should do something beautiful for God every day of their life I strive to do that!
Productivity journaling, reducing the time I spend on my phone and increasing my Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) especially after Salah are some things that have helped me be at peace lately Alhamdullilllah.
(Although it does require a lot of self control and patience)
Just want you to know that you are very much relevant for me and one of my favorite RUclipsrs out there ❤️
Same
Agreed!
Yeah depression, depravity, stress, brooding, sulking, reminiscing, contemplating, and considering is really on many minds these days yeah
I can relate. I'm going to be 21 soon and I don't feel like I've achieved anything with my life. I know 21 is pretty young and I do have some things under my belt but when I reflect I can't help but cry. My eyesight is bad so they are more aged, I'm not doing as well as I would like to with school and I sometimes feel like my long-term other will wake up and just walk out on me. I get anxiety attacks and cry but blame PMS but in reality, my mental health is the mud. I can't afford to see a psychologist so hopefully, I grow this out.
I am 27 and not married. I always say I wish I was 20 again. 21, agh, I am envious haha.
Are you muslim? If yes, I can suggest some books :-)
@@Maria-gd4vf please do!
@@mahnoor6357 The Quran (haha, I am sure you didn't expect this one), "Le livre du dedans" from Rumi (I read it in french but you can look for the eng version), lastly I recommend Mufti menk's khutbahs even though they aren't books.
Everything works out Antonia. Crying is a good way to release. Take time to figure out what your passions are. Also try to pray/meditate to uplift your spirit and do fun activities that will help. Also there is availability for low cost therapy and free therapy depending on where you are. Are you in the UK by any chance so I can recommend websites. Also for your eye sight just try and increase healthier food options IE fruits and veggies. You'll be okay. I have a younger sis who is 21. Your life is just beginning. As long as you have breath and life even if people go, you will still be fine. You'll blossom even more. XXX ❤️
Pausing the video just to tell you how much I appreciate your authenticity and vulnerability. Always! Keep being your wonderful self ❤️
As someone who will be turning 30 in Dec. i understand. I’ve actually started going to therapy a few months ago and was able to find a Muslim therapist that I’m comfortable with and it has made a world of difference for me! Mashallah you have a good head on your shoulders and from one sister to another, you’re blossoming wonderfully ♥️
Tazzzyyyyyy. I wish you weren’t so hard on yourself. I’ve been watching you for years and I’m obsessed with your honestly, authenticity, wisdom, and mad ridiculousness. Be you, babe. It’s why I’m here 💜💜
U got da same facial expressions 🤪
Ikr, she's so cool.
I was studying for a major professional exam that I was meant to take in December. The organisation cancelled the exam yesterday for the fifth time since the pandemic started. So yeah it's almost midday and im in bed.
Did someone ask for your life story ....
@@donwrrybouti :) thanks for commenting but don't worry about it that person already said earlier that they want to be a therapist but admitted that they'd much rather be a troll. I appreciate you though 😊
Thank you for being YOU and VULNERABLE enough to share.
I love her. She is so wholesome.
What keeps me together mentally is when I can and have the funds I go to metal concerts. Seeing my best buds. Game nights with the people. Alone time catching up on video games.
I love the sit down style of this videos and would be super interested in seeing more like this in the future! Also love that you touched upon these societal pressures when you hit certain “milestone” ages in life. Super relatable!
I admire you as a Wise woman and as a smart voice for women. I admire your work and the topics you talk about... thank you and blessings from México girl...
I was listening to this on my way home from work. I really needed this. Been suffering from anxiety lately that led me to urgent care last week. I really appreciate this topic and I want to start taking a more holistic approach into taking better care of myself and mental health. Thank you for bringing up this topic and speaking on your experience.
Love your videos. I am not Muslim, but I watch your videos for your intelligence and personality.
It’s really cool that you were able to get a sponser, Better Help, that fits with your video!
I think it's about have expectations on oneself too
Like today when i went out with my friends all I could think of was, I should behave properly or don't get too free, don't share to much, stay clam, be women-ly...kinda thing
And I couldn't stop it the whole time!
I wish I was not so hard on myself.... I'll fix it tho Insha Allah 👀🤞🏻
Just try to do things to please Allah.. If you try to mould yourself to please people, you will never be happy..
Wear a hoody and act like a boy 🤣
so relatable

Tazzy when you talk about playing outisde everday all day and was exhausted I FELT THAT. I love being outside
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I've been feeling so low lately and videos like this are really comforting ❤
Have Nutella with French fries 🍟 you'll feel better
Not sure what life got on your plate but you got this! Sending good vibes~
I'm listening to your podcasts all the time. It's nice to listen to relatable, thought provoking content for once.
I don't really watch vloggers but I really like you and your content. Super authentic, relatable, cute, funny. I'm approaching 30 and have experienced a few "quarter life crises" already so I'm pleased to hear you talk about it. x
I hate working from home btw! Super lonely, monotone, uninspiring... it has really affected my MH and same with the struggles of socialising now... save me
Thank youuuu!!!
I enjoyed this video so much. Mental health is sooo important nowadays. I personally experience issues with it a lot due to not having a job .
Really appreciate this video, thank you for making it. I find that I am happier when I don't watch the news. It usually just upsets me, and there haven't been many times that watching it has benefited me.
Also I have really tried not to watch highly opinionated videos about topics such as politics etc because I have discovered that my opinions are very much influenced by others. So I think to myself "Is this what I think? Or am I just parroting someone else?"
It can cause a lot of stress because I think I need to takes sides on things all the time, when really, it's ok to sit on the fence. I wish I could take my mind and wash it out in the sink haha
Please keep sharing your thoughts on life! You are one of the only “influencers” to whom I can relate!
This was so helpful, inspiring, and very insightful. I am 23 and I'm in a very huge transitional period in my life. I feel like what you said normalized a lot of people's fears and anxiety.
You're my age. Lololol
Amazing video, with some great points raised.
When you said you’ll show us your mugs though? I laughed In British. If u know, u know 🤣
When I need to rest up depending on the mood, I either watch a good movie or pick up my journal and write my thoughts or listen and doodle something. btw I like the mike thingy.
I love the sit down and chat format!
Mental health is SOOO important. Thank you for this.
Wow you're so honest and hit the spot with your experiences. Thanks for sharing ! I think you underestimate what a positive influence you have. You've really opened my mind about so many things, highlighted so many issues . I also really appreciate how you bring out spiritual depth that being a Muslim gives us. Thanks so much ❤️
Definitely agree with the retreat to care for yourself aspect. It's that whole you cannot fill someone else's glass up if you don't have enough yourself. I practice gratitude too because it's so tiny and foolish but it helps. You should really read Brene Brown Daring Greatly she talks about quite a few topics that you addressed here :)
This couldn’t have come at a better time, thank you 💚
I am obsessed with mugs too. Please share yours in a video
Hi tazzy! Plz do more topics like these and more podcasts! I love

Salam alekum sister, one thing I am currently going through is understanding Allahs lesson and pass the test
Watching you feels like interacting with a friend. You speak our minds. Keep up the great work!
Everything you said resonates with me 100%! but these days, the socializing perspective that you shared is so REAL! I mean I feel like I cannot even gather words in my mouth to reply to someone who speaks to me, once in a blue moon 😐
Omggg Tazzzyyy!!! I absolutely love you!!! I literally turned a year older and felt I’m not where I wanted to be! This came at the absolute right time!
Love this sit down style of video where you just share your thoughts. Found so much of what you say relatable and liked how you connected it back to an Islamic perspective. Also you may not think u have achieved RUclips success but having followed u since ur early skit days I think ur authenticity is way better than a high sub count!
I wish to have a long talk with you one day about these, about life. I'm only 19 going through some mental issue anxiety about my career. Trying to work, 2 jobs to be the perfect daughter. To help financially my desi parents = help myself. It's so much pressure. I chose to try next year medicine. Maybe my parents influenced me for this(indirectly) but I'm doing it for myself too. For self stability. I hope everything gets better for both or everyone whose going through anything ❤️ I'm trying law this year coz i don't really know what to do! Too much pressure
I just couldn’t let it be just a thumbs up. I needed you to know how much this video was needed and the things you said just fit right in to my situation and you gave me some homework to do on myself! I hope you know that you help people 🥰🥰 may allah bless you
we love these kind of videos! please keep them coming Taz
Thank you for this video, Tazzy!
Enjoyed this while I’m sat in the mall waiting for my sister eati junk food and I’m 23 and I relate already
Lol, life never turns out how you expect. I'm 40 and I'm not where I thought I would be, but I'm still in a really good place.

You're relevant to me!!! I watch every video! May Allah take care of you Tasneem
More of this type of videos.
I am sure you have thought through these already but maybe the channel could help with a rebranding.. for instance, what is the Tazzy Phe channel about? The eclectic aspect of this channel could be generative if on a broader level there was a sense for the viewer what this channel stands for.. satire, parody, storytimes, political commentary, mental health... etc? Also, collaborations might pick up the numbers.. not sure. I have been viewing you for a long time, and you are amazing. May God grant you the kind of success that is good for you. ameen.
Thanks Tazzy! Really liked the video concept and your thoughts/input:)
I really needed this. What a wonderful reminder and so insightful. Thank you Tazzy for your honesty ❤️
Love this video. Not one to post comments but this was the perfect video to watch while I’ve just started a journey of trying to limit my tech consumption.
I have some diagnoses that make life difficult to manage. I focus on ADLs and IADLs. As long as I am *humaning,* things are usually going to be fine. If I have trouble humaning, then that’s a sign to take a look at whether I’m symptomatic and need more help.
Oo you were in Turkey. I miss Istanbul, my family and stray cats... Let me go cry some😞😅 That was a nice and helpful video, makes me write a personal comment... Have a nice day
I love your videos lately thank you for continuing to make videos :)

Really enjoyed this video mA!! Happy birthday :) I'm in my mid-20s now and a lot of what you said I agree with and some of it I can like marginally understand. What I mean by that is I can see it and I think I'm also close to making the same realization but not quite there yet if that makes any sense lolol. As-salaamu alaikum uthi (sister), keep keepin it real sister. Only Allah can really judge you, you're right. Just be the halal female version of Long Beach Griffy. You're right about only pleasing Allah with the ibadah. Your actually helpin the ummah in the United States, especially me comin from a Colombian and White American background, and no one understanding how we function as the ummah. It's amazing how religion can really pull you away from the haram culture that you were indocturnated with. Although, Alhamdulilah rabbil al-amin, for all the haram that was taken away from my life. What I do for mental health is play Quran on my phone and sometimes do salah at a slow rate while burning an incense that helps. Keep reminding us about An-Nur so we can out shine all the Shayatin around us that are burnin in their hate.

3:56 Finally someone said it Alhamdulila!
Did ya hear that aunties?! 😼
6:49 Argh same. It's actually Haram for Muslims to dash out your business to everyone. Whether they're a therapist or not.
But they nailed the prayers, and having an Islamic astethic...That's about it. 🙄
I'm not 20 yet but I keep telling ppl I'm 20 lol

Great video but too close to the mic. The "ASMR-ness" is irritating
Question: Why do you consider yourself “Desi” if you are of Pashtun descent? Pashtuns are an Iranic ethnic group, they are not Desi. No hate or judgment, just wondering because I’m partially Afghan and Pashtuns from Afghanistan wouldn’t consider themselves Desis at all.
Btw, I totally know how you feel about finding a therapist who can understand, but being afraid of them being too familiar. This is a good and needed video, thanks for speaking out!
Yeah because that's the point of the video.
@@inherblues7261 I’m just curious because she brings up Desi culture quite a bit in this video.
@@linkasmr5666 she brings up desi culture because she is desi.
@@inherblues7261 Pashtuns are not Desi people though. If you’re not Pashtun, which I’m assuming you’re not, I’m not looking for your opinion. I want to hear from actual Pakistani Pashtuns, because it seems that some of them identify as “Desi” while the Afghan ones definitely don’t consider themselves Desi at all. Only other Pashtuns can clarify.
@@linkasmr5666 My father is Pashtun so only part Pashtun) and I consider myself Desi. The entire premise of your point reeks of racism and its very predictable. I've noticed some Afghans will try as hard as they can to distance themselves from being considered 'brown' or desi.
