Zima Blue is the absolute best and symbolically has all 3 (sentimental love for first human, art, living; death of persona/s; robot),, my favs usually are the ones that actually focus on robots as characters

Not sure why you counted Zima Blue (my favourite episode) as a A-tier since you say there is no love. And there is no death neither. He doesn't die technically at the end. He just becomes... simpler. Which is a death metaphorically in my opinion but that's not your rule. Also, he is "dead" because he looses his consciousness which brings me to what I feel is the real theme of Love Death and Robot : Intelligence ?? For me, most episodes have some kind of monstruous (non-human) and intelligent/conscious (which is often said to be a very human property) creature. Which is a fascinating theme. If you consider robots as any non-human intelligence, then more episodes would be A-tier. Some examples : the yogurt, the intelligent planet, the swarm things :) Funny video though
